2 stars it's a very short horror story that isn't scary.

Maybe if this had a hook on a car door, or someone sneaking up behind you it would provide something a scare. It doesn't, it didn't and it was pretty boring. To me the most interesting part of the story was that it had s*ave contracts in 1900s China, a thing I didn't know existed at the time. Aside from that, the story went very quickly from start to finish with little in between and didn't manage to build any... more>> tension or emotional involvement. It was sad as the MC was a s*ave and there could have been some serious back story to her life, but she is reduced to a zero dimensional character.

Bottom Line: Read or Don't, the story is so short it doesn't matter much. <<less

This left my jaw left dropped right on the floor. To say anything else would be criminal. A nasty bit of work, but what a story!
