What sets this apart from the many, many "sweet innocent marries into the 'villain' family and wraps them around her finger" stories is how delightfully blatant our heroine is about her intentions.

This cheeky monkey faked her death, crawled across a mountain, and then, shoeless and filthy, walked up the duke and, with astonishing boldness, demanded he give her his son as her groom. Then, after he stopped laughing at this tiny, feral-looking child, she stuck her hand on her hip and declared he better not try to short change her,... more>> she wants the heir, thank you very much, father-in-law-candidate! Which sent him into further conniptions of mirth.

You can't really call her a white lotus or a green tea b****, because you know she is manipulating you, (she boldly announces she is doing so, and is very purposeful about getting you to do what she wants with a smile) and yet, you feel like letting her because she is so charmingly insistent that you like her, even if you don't know it yet.

She's like a devious version of Lottie La Bouf (the blond friend from Disney's Princess and the Frog) who uses her powers of smirk and bubbly for good. Our heroine also has the same determination to make her happily ever after work no matter what as Lottie, which leads us to the second aspect which sets this story apart: the villains are scary, and Aisha has to put in effort.

It's refreshing that the (literally) demonic villains aren't just "misunderstood"--they are scary and creepy and offputting, especially to a little girl. She is not some miraculous exception. Her targeted groom is described as feeling like a "monster under the bed" who does not comprehend human emotions. At all.

Yet, Aisha wants what she wants, so she teaches herself to ignore the fear, through sheer willpower and gumption, and forces herself to be chipper, bubbly, and bold as she fakes it to make it. She will make herself get over it to get her prize: a long life, which requires a wedding ring and spot in the family. So she will learn to love them. She will put in the work. And we are going to cheer her on as she bullies them into eating cookies and being nice to her, because she's won us over, too.

Good for when you want a laugh, but are feeling sarcastic about it. <<less

OMG! It's here. Haha. I am currently reading this on kakaopage. The FL is so cute and funny. The way she interact with duke and his son is a real comedy. This is really fun to read even the comments from koreans are loving this novel coz the FL character is lovable and goofy. Must read!

the comedy in this is hilarious to me, I love the interactions between aisha and other people. I haven't gotten too far, but I felt the need to leave a review because it deserves so much love already. The jokes made for benjamin aren't super funny, but it is also understandable because they are mostly a play on korean words. The real comedy isn't even that, its the way aisha jokes around with everyone and still is somehow so cute!! The translator is doing a phenominal job and I cant... more>> wait for more chapters. If your looking for a comedy, you MUST read this! It is already a favorite of mine! Ill update it with a more thorough review later, but please give this gem a chance~~ <<less

I enjoyed reading this. Although the plot was rather generic, the execution was amazing. You could find FL's hilarious interaction with her father-in-law and brother-in-law, and you could also find a load of sweetness from the FL and ML. I loved the ML, he knew when to show his possessiveness, but he also knew when to be patient and retreat. Though I found it funny how he tried to distance the FL from the crown prince, her "ex-husband" from the previous life.

All in all, although there were some things that... more>> I found incomprehensible, I still recommended you to read this story for a fluff and casual read. <<less

I just love her interactions with the people around her, esp with Wolfgang and the animals. For the jokes with Benjamin, I don't really get most of them but it's good to read it makes him laugh.

It's a little bit different from other novel girls to father/in law relationship because of her personality and dad jokes. Lol

Can't wait to read how she'll push herself with the young masters.

It's cute but a very overdone plot I think. The author manages to do it well, and I like the dynamic between the brothers and the MC, but I feel like it's not very original.

Guys I wanted to ask if you know this novel because I can't find it and I always scroll just to find it. I forgot the title but this is the synopsis that I remember, she's a villain woman who pretend to be vicious just to protect herself from the cruel nobility. She remember her past life and maybe that lead to her to divorce the duke because she think they have a thing about the third party. A really enjoyable and fun read so far, I love the heroine, she's so hilarious and shameless but in a good way XD I love how she toots her own horn, and her dynamics with ML's father are so fun to read about.

the first day of her staying over at their house, she storms into his room at 9am and wakes him up super enthusiastically, and his reaction is priceless. Furthermore, she confidently announces herself as his daughter-in-law, and when he calls her "my daughter-in-law candidate", she responds by calling him "my father-in-law candidate". I LOVE IT SO MUCH XD

The ML is cute as well, he doesn't speak much at first and is cold towards her, but slowly warms up to her, and it's so adorable reading about them. I love how she always takes the lead and

casually tricks him into saying yes to their marriage by pretending to be sad, though I have a feeling he didn't fall for that and was already planning to get married to her lolol.

I like how FL acknowledges that Vivi is still young, and the author didn't take the plot too far and in the end all was good with this friendly rivalry, and Vivi was even sponsored by FL to become an actress. I find it eyebrow-raising when authors make young children become those evil b*tches type and I'm here like "how do children these young become so malicious?!"

All in all, I recommend this for a fun and fluffy read! I also appreciate TL's attempt to translate her dad jokes into English so we can understand them as well. I can read Korean (though understanding is a different matter) so the "cow song" joke was funny to me, but I appreciate how they translated it to "moo-sic" (pun on music) for non-Korean readers :) <<less
