In my opinion:

Do ‘we’ really exist? Or are ‘we’ just the skin that holds us together, just the fabric ‘we’ use to signify our places as ‘people’ in ‘civilized’ society, just meat and organs and nerves and nothing more?

This short story is written well, and certainly can evoke horror in the viewer. Not so much the physical kind perhaps, to those of us who do not suffer arachnophobia, but more of the existential kind. World building and questions about exactly how the characters in the story can do what they... more>> are aside, the story flow is simple and quite understandable. In actuality it is more psychological horror than anything else, really. The prose is decent.

A straightforward read for someone looking to pass the time with a mildly thought provoking story.

For the first translation by this translator, it is done very well, and the vocabulary is not bad. No glaring grammar mistakes. Stellar job to you, translator. The author wrote a nice story too, so kudos to them. Thank you for the story, and thank you very much for the great translation.

What a trippy story. Made me think, are we the body or the brain. We think we are the body but what if we're just the brain controlling a meat suit thinking we're the meat suit...
