This is one of them stories that starts of with a fairly good premise and could have gone with an interesting story that focused mostly on the romance between the MC + demon queen or the pair integrating into normal society or something similar.

Instead this turns into a generic high school battle manga where the MC from the get go is supossedly stronger then gods or perhaps even the most powerful in the known universe but because of his timid personality and doing what he's told he just get's pushed... more>> around by everyone while trying to hide his powers. Also even though the MC + demon queen have spent some 30 000 years as seemingly lovers with the demon queen constantly pushing for their relationship to advance the MC for some reason still acts like a super virg*n blushing at any kind of romantic action and as if their relationship has been stuck in limbo since they first met and he hasn't changed in anyway after all those years still acting like a clueless teenager.

On top of that the MC for some reason is even at some points shown as being confused and even easily beaten by what should be small fries compared to his supossedly godly powers and while you could argue it's him hiding his powers some of it makes little sense and is instead just confusing even making the MC appear weak instead of just not putting in the effort.

All in all this story is pretty much as generic as they come, filled with cliches and common tropes in this genre. <<less

It has potential but I have a lot of problems in regards to the MC.

He is alive for over 30, 000 years yet... why does it that he doesn't act like one? This is so frustrating because the author just slaps a random timeframe to compensate the growth of the MC's opness. However, it is very s*upid that there is no character growth or atleast some kind of maturity. Unbelievable. Hands-down the most japanese author thing to do. I could write a very cool novel with interesting premise and then... more>> slap an OP MC with standard herbivore behavior and be done with it. Cuz that's exactly what this novel is.

I don't have any expectations for this because the from the moment the novel started. It flopped, starting with the MC. If the MC isn't interesting then what point would there be in progressing the story?

Would've been a cool story tho. <<less

This is one of those novels where authors idea of creating a cool gimmick completely destroys entire premise. MC as a teenage boy, supposedly lived 30000 years in a dead world. No entertainment, no other living creature other than the demon lord. And he still comes out as your stereotypical Japanese MC. Yeah, right.

You don't come back from 30000 years training montage as a functioning human. Most obvious outcome would be MC going bananas. He would name each of his hair folicule separately. He would eat noodles through his nose.... more>> He would become a cenobite (e.g. Pinhead from hellraiser). (Alternatively he would become a philosopher and comprehend Dao or something. But again my bet is on becoming a cenobite).

Seriously, you think you do but you don't really understand how long 30000 years is. That's our entire human civilization. We started whacking each other with stones and clubs and became spacefaring civilization in 30 thousands years. What counted as human back 30000 years ago wasn't called homo sapiens sapiens back then. And I haven't even touched the whole beating the strongest demon lord everybody afraid of part.

To recap, premise is we have this unbelievably OP MC that lived 30k years yet he is still a cardboard cutout dry flatbread.

How to say it..

Chapter 1 and 2 is fine. But at chapter 3 the usual "Oh no what to do I'm OP but I don't want to stand out" skit with s*upid story, started.

Hey, he have been living for 30.000 years and he remembers those 30.000 worth of memories, even if the Demon King is the only one he talked to.

... more>> He should still have the experience BEFORE that, he shouldn't be that s*upid that he can't read the T.P.O

Sorry but if after we reach chapter 5 MC is still your usual supposed to be LOWKEY but careless and OP MC, its better to stop reading. This one would just the same with other OP ISEKAI story <<less

It’s too early to tell whether the novel is good or not; I do like the idea of an academy of returnee heros, and given Felice’s comments about a high tier council potentially overseeing the balance of the worlds, there might be more under the surface.

She mentions both that it’s strange that the goddesses were able to be so brazen in trying to setup the academy and also mentions her being programmed for destruction, and her current personality only being developed after being sealed.

One thing I do wish more that the author does, though I don’t expect they will, is the mental insanity of training/living for 30k years. Maybe it’s just a projection, but the MC shouldn’t have common sense after that length of time; there should be a wrongness that we feel from him. At least, I don’t feel he should feel like a average teenage boy; it’s not like Felice should be very normal either. Even if this isn’t the case, I hope they mention felice uses magic to keep him at this high school mentality, so I don’t need to keep questioning why someone who lived for so long feels like 16 years old. Still, there potential here, and I hope it’s realized! <<less

I don't wanna be mean but this story doesn't have a meaning to exist.

The main protagonist says he needs to keep himself hidden, because he is the enemy of heros or something, but what is he even gonna do ? Kill the higher-ups ? It seems like he spent an insane amount of time training, but for what reason?

It just seems like a downplayed version of a possible interesting story.

Great Translation but MC is another Wimp with a beta mindset.

What the f*ck is wrong, Japanese authors.

Aside from MC, the story is very unique and interesting. Especially, the chemistry between MC and demon lord is literally worse. Well, it's a great read if you neglect the MC.

the story is kinda fresh which introducing the Academy for Returnee Heroes from different worlds. The translator did a good job and the translation were easy to read which makes the story enjoyable. Since this is early review, let's wait and observe on how the story will progress.
