I have read many bl novels some of them i liked and some i didnt and some i dropped mid way even though they have good ratings and reviews. Im very picky about what i read only novels with unique characters , special storylines with characters who have depth and are remembarable and people who atleast know consent and personal space , respecting boundaries with no red flags , no dub con , no r*pe , no yandere only can sastisfy me.... more>>

All of these are, IMO, must-reads. Hands-down some of the best novels here. I've also included my own personal ratings and opinions of each of these novels. Well-written stories, great plots, characters, etc. I have relatively high standards for these to be my favorites, so these are all really high quality. Actively being updated. I haven't finished writing reviews/ratings for all of them yet, but I will in time. Meant to be ordered by highest personal ratings -> lowest personal ratings, but haven't had time to fix it yet. These are also my own opinions and feelings regarding each novel, so they won't be particularly eloquent, and you can definitely disagree. It's just me rambling.

Also added some ones I haven't read but will read and I know i will love. Feel free to recommend any danmei too!

Completeness because the plot, characters, romance, world-building, etc.... more>> are all so well fleshed out. Emptiness because you either want to stay a bit longer with the characters in their world, or rather, you know that the story has reached its satisfying ending, and that this is where the art should end. <3 The BL & danmei world is a treasure trove of all sorts. Danmeis I completed reading and I find amazing. They have plot most of the time. :) It's in a historical Asian setting.

P.S. I know many readers can't accept many scenes in these novels, but I think not every story is all sweet and fluffy, there are so many stories filled with pain and sufferings. All these stories are pieces of art, they are imaginations of authors - their stunning creations. Do give honest reviews, but please don't disrespect them. And remember this is all fiction, and in no way is depicting reality. I would never accept such things in real life too, but to discover different worlds, I'm ready to temporarily keep aside my values. (I don't stoop too low either lol).
