I'm very happy to have picked this up. Translators and editors are great. I'm not sure if it's the author or the translators or both but it is one of the best LN I've read. The story is generic in it's genre but it's the style and atmosphere that makes it a hit for me. Of the many I've read it's one of the best in terms of translation and story pacing. It's an easy read and very relatable. Informative without brain overload. Translation is clean.

Very satisfying read. Thanks to... more>> the authors and translators! <<less

The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent (WN)

I thought I made a review of this aleready but I guess not.

A very relaxing read, really. It has a weak start and the events seems rushed but its fine if you just lazily enjoy the story. There are a lot of cut scenes (I mean not in the story at all, that I feel should be there) and yet its fine just the way it is. The story is really easy going all around. Too bad, seems like this is going to be dropped, at the rate its getting... more>> updated, sighs*. <<less

I recommend! It's not what the story is about. It's how it is written. There are reasons why cliches are popular, and although in general the story is cliche, it is by far one of the most well written ones out there on this genre. The chapters are short so it seems to have many but not really. It's an easy read and quite enjoyable.

Can't wait for the updates!

A Billion Stars Can’t Amount to You

I think this book deserves more points than what others rate it for.

This genre is always repetitive. Family, betrayals, schemes, lies and a handful of misunderstandings. Because of it's repetetive theme that others are reluctant to read it.

What a pity because every story has it's moments and this story definitely has them. For me, what makes a good story is the story telling. As I said, this genre is repetitive. How the story unfolds is what makes it worth reading furthermore, the characters are distinguishable but too detailed to be... more>> overwhelming. <<less

It's a good read if yoju're not so detail oriented. (You've been warned)

I suggest, just eat what's shoved in your mouth and don't look for more to chew on and you will like it better.

MC has shallow goal.

MC does not know how to use her resources.

MC is supposed to be mentally matured and as an invalid in her past life you'd think she'd want to live meaningfully this time but meh.

Too few mention of their family circumstances, in an economic, structural and societal stand point. Like they are supposed to be influencial but they seem to not know anyone other than their family and servants.

It's an enjoyable read without the complicated stuff... the world building and character building is shallow but it's not too bad, because it's a very very light read and the story is lax in all aspects. So if you're a reader who has to compose and decompose every part and twist in the story... don't even take a peek, but if you want to relax

Our brain and float about aimlessly, here's a treasure.

Fascinating read. The pace is just right enough and the happenings are interesting.

Pros

it has quite unique concept of mixing stuff together. I did not expect the music thing to be mixed with fantasy, magic and knights.

The world building is also more complicated than just your normal VR novels

Also, less dragging than your usual cultivation novel. With just enough details to keep you satisfied but won't put you in a dazed of endless words.

Cons

I wasn't sure how he got his library and how he developed his tenacity on the get go when he's just an ordinary person from earth. There are definitely sloppy parts but they are not as glaring as the other novels out there. <<less

If your a reader who doesn't like technicalities and practicalities, you might want a go at this. Unfortunately, I'm not that kind of reader. I managed to get to this chapter coz each chap is relatively short. There were good parts and bad parts but generally, this is just too mumbo jumbo. To fast paced and character build up is almost non-existent (like how a 6y/o can be a CEO of a company on his own? Nonsense). Reading this feels like I'm reading a rough draft. Like there were a... more>> list of scenes the author want to put in and just stick it in the story just so it's there and he tries to connect them to make a flow but it's still a mess. <<less
