The only real flaw in this is that the harem is simply too big which gives little room for the development of the characters, especially those who joined later. Hell at the end we don't even know the name of ~10 of his wives (altho these are the ones he married for political reasons at the very end).

The overall story is good and varied. MC is initialy a total loser with zero character, but there is a reason for that which is later explained in the story. Over the story... more>> his mentality grows from a naive useless child into a scheming adult capable of dominating almost anyone (outside his harem) both mentally and physically thanks to the coaching of his ancestors and the support of his harem.

While the MC is poor at handling the harem, his alter ego MR. Lyle is simply brilliant in every way and more than makes up for it. The ancestors in the jewel are all great characters who greatly contributes to the commedy. I only wish their wives had a bigger role as they seem really interesting aswell.

The main villain is a little lacking in character depth and quite one-dimentional, but she does get the job done and is a constant legitimate threat.

All in all it's in my opinion the best fantasy novel since Mushoku Tensei. <<less

Decent story but I really stuggle with the absurdley overpowered infants.

Sure it's a magc world but having someone who haven't even turned 1 beat up adults feels so wrong. A child like that would be burned as a witch following the worlds logic. Don't get why they don't just throws in a ~10 years timeskip to make it all plausible.

I tried but I just cannot get into this novel. Reason being that the protag stays a child for waaaaaaaaaaay to long. I simply cannot stand novels where the protag is still an infant for several dosens of chapters and then stays a child for hundreds more. There is nothing more offputting that retardedly overpowered infants that can deal with any situation because that just means there won't be any tension what so ever once they actually grow up. And lets not even get started on a 5 year old... more>> with a massive harem.

A shame because the characters and worldbuilding is pretty good otherwise. <<less

Absolutely worth a read.

MC is surronded by pretty OP characters but he himself is fairly normal, relying on strategy, planning and knowledge. He is pretty OP as a doctor tho, possesing first-rate healing magic.

MC is a first-rate assassin but dislikes his dark life and would much rather just use his healing magic to work as a doctor. But unfortunatley you cant leave the organization once your in or you will be removed. MC does get along well with his partners in crime, even though they all have quite excessive personalities.

So... more>> far the story hasn't really revealed the overall plot och goal so can't say much about that. The MC is a little bland but atleast he's not dense. He also get quite a bit of off-panel loving, even using his body to seduce his female assassination targets (again, only off-panel so far). In general he uses the favorable opinion that almost everyone has of him to make them lover their gard. <<less

Pretty dull and uncreative tbh.

Overpowered guy walks around picking up a harem & money with no drama or danger.

Seems all the girls fall in love with him because he... doesn't use his godpowers for rape and forcefully builds his harem... idk, feels wierd to me.

Infancy period is way to long and I find it disturbing with all the middleage women falling in love with a two y.o due to his passive charm skill.

The whole breastfeeding gives you levels in what your mother specialies in I pretty BS since it only really applies to the MC. There's also a limit to how much a baby can eat every day yet this kid get brestfed several times a day by several different women.

Idk, might pick it up again when infancy period is over but right now... more>> it's pretty crap. <<less

It's basically a human reincarnating as a monster who leads a mercenary band. Not sure why people expect him to be a good person.

The MC base philosophy is "If you're good to me I'll be good to you, if you're bad to me I'll repay in kind". Then to that there's the addition of leading and keeping control over a band of merc monsters. He is ocationally forced into morally questionable decision mainly because he'd lose the faith of his subbordinates if he didn' go atleast that far, but he... more>> is trying to keep it at a minimum.

As for the story I do enjoy the begining quite alot but it gets more and more repeatable and predictable as the MC gets stronger and stronger. The fights that originally relied on outsmarting his opponents while putting his body at risk turns into him steamrolling eveything in his sleep. The incredibly poor quality of the mashine trans of the latter half also kills any enjoyment.

Personally I'd recommend anyone to drop it after he evolves past Ogre stage. <<less

Not for me, this novel.

The "mystery" and plot just sounds boring and I ended up skipping most of it as it was just alot of buddah and ancient china wanking.

The development is really poor and the MC just obtains everything without the slightest bit of effort

Might get better later but I'm not patient enough to find out.

Man dies and reincarnates into what is basically a Mongol tribe, but with magic. The magic is more of a support ability than a combat and there haven't been any pure magician warriors atleast so far.

You'll almost instantly forget that the MC is an reincarnated individual as he never uses any knowledge from his previous life and his personality is completley that of a relatively nice and popular teenager. The story also skips the whole child stage and starts when the MC is about to turn 15.

The story is considered... more>> R18 but the s*x is quite light and not at all the main focus of the story. Personally I'd say it's more like a R15 story but where the MC does goes all the way at night. I think it's a good thing as it's completely unrealistic for a 15 y.o male to have a harem and not try to get inside their panties.

The main cons are as mentioned, that it completely skips out on the whole reincarnation story and it's more like we get to follow a teen that just grew up in that world. This is not necessarily a bad thing imo but it's perhaps not what you would expect. Another thing is that it can get pretty confusing with all the rules of the tribe at times. Don't know if that's because of the author or the TL tho. The MC is also quite a Sue, stronger than all his peers and wanted by alll the women. Finally the story is set in a world similar to the mongol hordes with the culture of mongol hordes. That means that women are completely treated as items similar to a horse or a sheep. They are the property of their husband/father. So if you're a SJW this is most definitely not for you. <<less

One of few "overpowered harem protagonist" LNs done right.

Interesting, detalied and well thought out world build. A surprisingly decent plot with decent villains and really high quality humor. Pochi & Tamas adorableness will make you vomit sugar for real.

But the best part are the characters. Satou is decent, especially for a protagonist but it's his harem that really shine. Pochi & Tama are absolutely adorable and funny, Mia & Lulu & Zena are super cute, Liza & Hikaru are funny and cool, Nana is hilarious and Aze is just wonderful... more>> in every way. Arisa is a bit annoying but I can live with that. <<less
