History’s Strongest Senior Brother

You would guess that this novel would be a parody. I dont know if the author intended it to be one but it isnt. The main character follows all the common tropes without even a hint of parodying them.

The MC fails at being a character. His goals and motivations are incredibly vague. He wants to help out his sect? Why? He has pretty much no reason for 80% of his actions to be helping the sect but he does it anyway. The guy has no unique character traits at all... more>> aside from having a pre-existing reputation in his sect which has 0 impact on the story as he still gets underestimated just like every other MC in existence.

This novel would benefit from having a system like the authors previous novel as it would forcibly give the incredibly bland and uninteresting MC interesting goals. <<less

I found in to be an enjoyable comedy novel. The author has written a surprisingly deep setting for the world to the point where there's almost too much to remember.

The Tutorial Is Too Hard

Great novel with interesting characters and setting. My only complaint is that the MC scales faster than the tutorial. There's no point in having so many chapters per level if he can clear it on his first run with bare minimum difficulty. Currently it's not like that but it feels like it could head into that direction.
