Slave Harem in the Labyrinth of the Other World

I don't fault it for a perverted, horny, dumb, paranoid, cowardly, slavemaster MC. I fault it for being boring. Just being extremely slow paced does not cause it to be boring. It's the magic system and repetitive slog of dungeons and counting attacks that makes it boring. You can switch the names of the dungeons and it would make no difference. They even contain some of the same monsters. The characters are not very well developed. The dialogue is incredibly repetitive. Let me check a random chapter. ... more>>

"Did it, desu."
"Rather than that, should we go up to the 31st floor?"
Sherry gives explanation.

The Job system and cheat are a little more interesting. But you can just read "I've Became Able to Do Anything with My Growth Cheat, but I Can't Seem to Get out of Being Jobless" instead, which actually has a competent story.

If you read a 4-star review of this mentioning how it's a "slice of life", just mentally flush that review down the toilet.

vaendryl's review has it about right. I'd love to believe StupidMinataur, but nah. <<less

I would say that the start of the novel is a bit rough, but it gets much better by the end of the first arc (c23). I recommend reading to at least c16 if you were planning on dropping it.

Although the healing is OP, healing powers are explored much better in Atelier Tanaka and Kaifuku Jutsushi.

The Boy Who Swore Revenge On The World

MC did the smart thing by embracing evil and attacking surrounding countries instead of the Holy Kingdom to build up strength. If he attacked the Holy Kingdom directly early on, they would curbstomp him.

POV shifts aren't even that annoying.

I'd say this is about a 3 or 4 star that I am rounding to 4 for now.

August 27, 2017, c12 part3, 4 stars: It's good. Just read what is available in 2017.

MC's girl troubles are exaggerated by the early reviewers, at least at this point. He hasn't even been there that long and although he is still a virgin, a harem seems to be forming, possibly. It could reach the point where it would be ridiculous if he did not get laid given that the MC repeatedly states that he wants dat pussi, but it's still early.

The way the healing cheat is used is pretty interesting so far. Better than, say, I Work As A Healer In Another World's Labyrinth City. I still want to see some MC use a Heal Bullet.

The comedy is good and that's all it needs to be better than many Isekai series. Strident's review should lay any other concerns to rest.

December 23, 2018, v4c1 part2, 5 stars: The comedy and MC's thought process carry this novel. I always look forward to reading it. Normies and haters can get BTFO. <<less

Magic Bullet in Magic Land

It probably doesn't deserve five full stars. I would rate it at 3.5 before I read the last couple of chapters, now 4.0. MC is very, very OP. Characters are nothing too special. What it excels at is dishing out complete carnage to the enemies of mofumofu. You will feel the bloodlust. And it has lots of gun/weapon (description) porn. Whether or not any of it is accurate is something you can debate in the comments.
