Quite an incredulous story of how a japanese reincarnated person obsess over the lack of rice, food variety and entertainment. Unbelievable enough since in any society in history, entertainment is almost always well-developed, and forcing a western country to eat rice is really quite thoughtless. Putting these aside, there is an overwhelming lack of realistic reactions from the people around regarding such impossible genius and knowledge that I'm not looking forward to any further character development in the future. Of course then again, one may say that many other novels... more>> do this, but that just all the more make this lie in the below average department, since nothing stands out AT ALL <<less

No matter how much the author says the game is fair and balanced, as a typical Chinese feel-good novel, it obviously isn't. The story starts off very interesting with the setting and historical character introductions, and I really enjoyed the initial country building and interactions between different dynasties.

However, the main character actually gain an advantage purely using his foreknowledge, but mostly a game bias of somehow making China the most historically OP country, having the biggest landmass and best weapons and technology... which... is so stupid and so inaccurate it... more>> undermines the prior good points as it pours doubt on how much is done through research to make it as accurate as possible, and how much is just wish fulfilment <<less

This story has a very deep plot that spans a long way since the beginning, and highly intricate plots which may seem incredulous amazing and truthfully sometimes even lucky. But what I like most is the way the characters are so fleshed out, giving such personality to each character and their thoughts, in a way that shows warfare between people aren't even bad people, but very loyal, steadfast and righteous people born in different countries. Of course, there are other stories that may have done the same, maybe even better,... more>> but it doesn't mean this is not important nor makes this story any less better.

If you are interested in schemes, subterfuge, and characters who can make you tear (cry) for their deaths, I would like to recommend reading this <<less

It's an undeniably fun read. Interesting plot developments and perhaps some fun misunderstandings, but really not much in character development or world building or really depth of plot.

Well... this is a simple easy-to-read story, that has a somewhat cute plot. But character development is sorely lacking, with them having excessively unique (extreme) traits just to set them apart, thus giving the villains a plausible excuse to dislike the MC. It's a kind of 'misunderstanding' based story where much of the conflict are based on misunderstandings, but comes across more forced as the characters are just so... special. All in all a good interesting story but poor characters

Mm, idk man, the reactions by the calefares are so unbelievable and exaggerated, it's like the author can't convey a certain emotion simply through the situation and always have people commenting. Like, I understand people catching the opening of a be tv series, but if someone watches an anime opening, it is really really unlikely comment live on every sequence and every second, when it is simply an opening. And the MC's luck is just pushing it. Apparently anyone who touches her becomes super lucky, but it doesn't work on... more>> herself or her child <<less

The Great Storyteller

Started off really really well, great setting and the idea is interesting. The style of writing is especially fresh and well done. But as the story goes on there isn't really any character development, there isn't any antagonist, rival, or struggle (yet) at all. Every writing he creates is a huge hit, with no sense of build up or struggle or lesson, and somehow people want to see his face very badly?? I mean, I love some stories, a lot, but I've never bothered how the author looks like.
