Some enemies the MC spared including the gangsters from when he just gotten back, before the Grand Calling and a high school kid who got powers. Although some say it is because. "Those enemies did no real/little to no damage, weren't any real threat, and he could make use of them. The attacker because in his view it was just a foolish kid who suddenly got powers, who did no real harm. He just spent years at war with enemy nations, with massive bloody gut wrenching battles, this was nothing but a kid clowning around to him. If the kid had killed people, the MC admitted he would have killed him, but the kid didn't."
The kid started attacking people the moment he got his power, and gangsters are just gangsters they are a collection of people who kill, rape and plunder and commit all kind of crimes. Power does not corrupt, absolute power gives absolute freedom. The fact these people commited evil acts with the power they have means they are truly evil people.
First: of all the Japanese protects mas murderers, mas rapist, genocide causing slavers and their government.
Second: seems like racist, couple of Japanese women where saved millions of other slaves where left behind.
Third: ever heard of aiming? They start shooting at the eye the size of an little truck and still can't get a hit in.
all combat scenes are like this. Completely ruining the flow of the story.
If you can read past these problems and plenty of plot holes this story is worth the read
He want's to join a sect not because of his cultivation but for "general knowledge" witch he lacks because he did not have spirit root in his last life and could not get anyone to accept him. He did not go to "another world" like other novels but more of a distant place (other planet).
What does disappoint is that he has several women with him and absolutely nothing happens. Some even get forgotten or left behind.
He is like "i do not want her to be hurt, i'll show him when i'll get stronger" and when he's strong enough forgotten. Then this other girl he accepted a sister in order not to hurt her. Afterward his army marched upon her lands, and he picked up the family next to hers and doesn't even mention his little sister. And then the story just ends.
The End, never mentioned his love, never tried to find his love in "once upon a time (spirit world) " dozens women ignored, 5 women untouched, 4 women forgotten, True love never mentioned again after finding the first one single clue. His important clan forgotten, family forgotten, brother forgotten, twin forgotten.
what about the cultivation clan? Wasn't the plan the create a big family in order to get cultivation resources?
robbed this guy, killed this guy, super speed refining, killed this sect, cleaned up this battlefield and that battlefield and that battlefield and that battlefield. Battlefield. Battlefield..
the ending was unsatisfying. Wished I had stopped reading before the ending.
This story did not, firstly, the MC is an idiot and the side-characters are even less intelligent just so the MC looks smart. Most events felt forced and conversation did not flow smoothly. Plot armor is way too obvious.
Oh, I need a stronger skill, runs from a beast into a cave find "body refining manual and fist art low earth realm" and just enough low-level soul stones for practicing it. Need stronger cultivation manual finds just the right level. Needs a boost for his cultivation finds a bottle of hundreds of pills of all 3 kinds Qi, Spirit, Soul.
spends 150 million for something worth at most 10 million saying he might never find it again (harvested once a year but can be found all year round later he goes there and harvest dozens of them)
For a genius researcher of the 21st century, he is too stupid. He does not plan ahead nor think ahead. And I do not know if anyone else noticed but does the entire martial world and the cultivation feels a game system to others as well? Way too fixed for a real world. It kinda reminds me of those Korean novels where the world turns into a game world, lost interest way too fast because it reeks of wish fulfillment where the MC is born to be special and OP. There are those that are funny but the story itself is so bad I do not know if I should be laughing or crying.
Then there is the "good" part, yeah he's satisfied with getting the third place because getting first or second seems impossible.
Only the first competition after that he goes al "whats mine wil be mine! I am number one under heaven blah blah blah using plot armor and sudden powerups. Oh no, he is too powerful, I can not beat him. Makes a breakthrough and the author goes all take my PLOT *cough cough* Sword.
Then there is his training with consist of learning a single move one after another no sword style or arts he is using a move, and he has no defensive swordsmanship? No, he grows dragon bones made of energy from his skin.
Can he learn a move without actually cutting in half thousands of unique treasures with can never be made,
MC gets lucky and finds low-grade treasure with is so rare only 1 out of 10 peerless genius can get one, 100 chapter later MC finds mid-grade and in order to test it with new move cuts in half 1 thousand low- grade treasure a mid-grade treasure is so rare only 1 out of a thousand astral realm master can own one.
300 chapter later MC finds high-grade treasure and in order to test its might cuts in half 1 thousand mid-grade treasures owning a single high-grade treasure makes on invincible among astral realm practitioners. And soul of seas realm would kill for them
by the time MC leaves true spirit continent in order to advance his training (because he can no train without cutting in half treasures) one can expect true spirit continent practitioner to fight with sticks and stones.
The story is good at the start. Then I gets all random with this race hidden within that race spies everywhere and planets exploding. And going into some Unexplored region. I stopped reading at this point
The protagonist Vice Admiral Lezirth Dawnbringer, the Commander of Dawn Corps in the First Marines of the Space Federation who became a war hero after leading the human race to victory with the army. After waking up acts like some kind of spoiled hotblooded inexperienced rich kid. I mean truly like a child, and the other character aren't much better either
Plotholes start piling up early and in the end thousands of world are faced extinction because of MC his cowardly nature and hypocrisy. Because he does not want to take responsibly for either of the woman he fkd or rpd.
He even called every s*xual encounter he had reverse rape even though it was obvious he forced himself upon several of the woman.
I mean in the fight with the hydra he "regenerates his head back several times" why not eat a piece to grow back that arm? And he acts like a copy of common Japanese MC indecisive yet is described as ruthless? A trigger happy softy? You have guns, cannon, rifles, cars, bikes, and airships even a satellite weapon why not some armor? Well have to say most MC's are like that doing things in roundabout ways
Young elite special force member travel into the past. With his knowledge about the warring states events, he carving his way into others' fate to try and remake the history as he remembers causing many good people to die uselessly.
It is a journey as MC tries hard to accept the ancient China way of life full of blood, death even though he could live life differently taking an advantage with his knowledge and strength.
The MC started as a lecherous, super magnificent figure - tall and handsome - who gets all the girls. He then lets all of them die either by suicide after getting raped or killed by stupidly taking them out while there are thousands of people hunting him down or letting them get married to some other d*ckhead.
Whether the history of ancient China is true or not is questionable even after he get trough the first couple weeks, And the fact that the MC still doesn't realize this and stays as a "civilized, down-to-earth figure" until the end is idiotic. Typical wuxia/xianxia - with their single-sided plot.
In this ancient chaotic times with vastly different culture he tries to live passively.
why the hell did he pay of a bit over 2.5 billion debt with 3 billion should be plenty left. If he had paid a little more attention to fame he could make money flow in. This happens a bit too much so I can't really sympathize with the MC. Its like he's brain dead, narrow minded and shortsighted
This MC does not start weak at the beginning of the novel but already reached the end of cultivation in this realm and is just about to soar. The story is about him easily soaring from one realm to another while he comes across descendants or spirit witch he has sowed karma with in his past life while teaching his disciples.
Typical MC who believes in order to reach the truth of swordsmanship he must be detached and not leave any ties in the world, yet goes around causing trillions of life to perish blaming it on fate. Saying they would have died either way even if he did not interfere (or pushed the red button)
Story is nice, one of few stories where MC does not suffer constant bullying. But crappy MC nonetheless.
If your purpose is to reach the peak and go against heavenly laws and sh*t why fear leaving ties in the world and having kids and stuff, you already have family wherever they are ancestors or descendants does it really matter?
He knew that when he broke the moon a second time to the 7th realm the fierce beast would appear and billions would die if left unsolved so what does he do? A month long bath just like he took month long break before. WTH?
I could have solved it as powerless mortal so how could he not? Jus tell them to build a freaking wall, solved.
With heaven as wife, earth a concubine, and people a tripod. He would make every woman that harmed him or his friend into one of his tripods to increase his strenght. He did this 3 or 4 times maybe and he murdered trillion of woman, cities and sect completely wiped out and not a single girl or woman spared.
There are quite some plot holes though, especially annoying was how his maid 'Spring Grass" who raised him and who is one of the only characters he "cried for" just got forgotten to revived even though he brought back to life all kind of ancient gods and devils and people completely unrelated to him.
i believe the stories would get better if the author's tries to get the story revolved more around the character rather than have all the character adapt to the world they are in. This can keep the unique in the way they can behave.
I also believe that since he accepted Delia (for waiting for so long) he should have accepted the other girl named Jenne too since she sacrificed at least just as much. I think he should have put some more effort in letting his friends break through and stuff so they don't die like that, like snap saint low level long life. There are a lot of holes in the story, probably because of him mindlessly swinging his heavysword around for no particular reason
