Cheng Nuo DID NOT forget about Liu Guang AT ALL. Cheng Nuo and Bai Rui were trapped in a seal and couldn't leave, even if they wanted to. Cheng was actually heading back home to Liu Guang but got sealed with Bai Rui. Cheng Nuo thought about Liu Guang daily and was finding ways to leave because he knew Liu Guang would worry.
Cheng Nuo did NOT leave Liu Guang for 5 whole years. That was a dream Cheng Nuo had, he only left for 2 years, not 5. Also, one day in the seal is 2 days outside, he was gone +6months and it became 2 years.
Bai Rui isn't a sly bastard, IDK where they got that from. However, he did some selfish things at times due to his love towards Cheng Nuo. Selfish yes, sly no.
ML brings MC to bed, MC tries to avoid it by saying she's tired, ML says its okay because he'll do all the work. Morning comes, ML goes to morning court, MC wakes up with her body sore, curses ML for his strength and stamina, then goes about her day. That's pretty much how it goes, it's pretty vague.
Some people made it sound worse than what it actually is like he abused her or something.
I also wished that the ML didn't "force" their relationship and just let MC fall in love gradually (or at least let her choose). Well, I guess ML couldn't help it since MC was his first love and would anything for her to stay with him.
I like the grandpa though lol. Asking for 15 grandchildren xD
If you just want to skip to the first s*x scene it's on ch 8.
I have to say that the boys are really forceful and hardcore too (depending on who you are)
The ending felt a bit rushed because of all of the time skips (in the beginning she's 18 and by the end, she's 41). That made me confused bc one day she's 20 and the next she's 30 with a child. Like.... wut? I'm serious though, a lot of time skips towards the end.
There was a point in the novel where she ran away and slowly realized that she actually loves them. But right before she decides to go back home they find her and chain her up in the basement so she'll never run away again. And honestly, I wished that she realized her feelings and went back home sooner or for them not to be so harsh on her; because after they did that to her, her love and all the other emotions she had were gone. She basically became an emotionless s*x doll & MC just accepted her fate and stopped resisting them. I really wanted her to love them, not get used to them. :/ At the end of the novel (when she's 40ish) she loves them (or so they say) but I didn't see anything that would lead to that. Maybe it happened during the time skip, but they should show that to the readers at least. I can't just assume MC ended up loving them if I didn't see anything.
An example would be MC's best friend. She was by MC's side during college, supporting her and everything. Then she slowly fades away after graduation and completely disappears after she gets married, never to be mentioned again. And the doctor she meets in a village, he only appears twice and was last mentioned chasing a nurse? lol
Having 3 other world travelers made everything more interesting as we get to see their POV.
The MC stays simple and pure from beginning to end, which I really appreciate.
Irene really reminds me of the MC from HSSB in regards to being the "villain". She works hard not to become cannon fodder and does everything she can to prevent Zi Cheng from becoming "God".
I didn't really expect Zi Cheng to be so heartless, only caring for herself and pretending to be nice to gain favor from others... *sigh* I thought she would have more character than that. Seems like she's the white lotus type :/ But I can't really blame her for doing what she does bc she's also trying to survive...
The 4th traveler surprised me but I'm happy he was able to prevent future disasters from happening :)
Though there are some unanswered questions like the blood family, ancients, virtual world, etc. but I guess its alright since it doesn't deviate from the main plot? I also wonder what happened to their other friends : (this will forever a thorn in my heart.
If anything, I wish we had more pov from the other travelers, especially Irene, I love her.
It was nice to see him prove himself to MC and helped her open her eyes to her true feelings. :) I think MC knew it all along, she was just too scared to act upon it; hence all he bfs she had. She never knew true love in her past life and never saw love between her parents. She knew her mother loved her father and bc of that love she went crazy. That probably traumatized MC a lot and didn't want to end up sad and lonely like her.
