In about 2 years of reading novels, this will be my first time giving a comment because I felt the need to.

The Epitome of Hipocricy should be the novel's title.

Why?

It's because in book 2 his cousin was about to get married and then before they arrived at the bride's village during the marriage date, they found out that the bride was already abducted by the young master of a gang. This young master together with his elite subordinates were praparing to have a war against another gang so they want to have a feast and beauties to ravage before the battle. The bride was one of these beauties.

The MC and his cousin sneaked inside the young masters location and just waited in the dark. His reason for not saving his cousins bride was he din't know the bride's face and he promised not to compromise his village's safety. Later on the young master came to his village to recruit men for the final battle against the opposing gang. His cousin just stood there without even throwing a tantrum against this young master that abducted and gang raped his supposed to be wife. Suddenly the young master noticed his sister and proposed a marriage then he accepted the marriage with intent to kill hidden within and when the young master and his elite men left, he tailed then then decided to... ok I'm totally donnnnneeeeee!

The MC could be walking in the dao of HIPOCRICY towards immortality!

If he already had this strength in the first place, why would he allow the bride to get raped? He was even stronger than the father of this young master! He din't know the brides face? He even monologued something like "life is feeble and said that even if he took action the bride might still die, and he won't compromise the village". He even know the pain of losing the one he loved but still let his cousin suffer. After all is done, why would he take action later on then? Even if the bride might be killed at least she had a chance of survival. <<less

IN MY O P I N I O N

BOON:

1. The MC's CHARACTER is RELATABLE in REAL LIFE.

... more>> 2. THE STORY KEEPS GETTING INTERESTING as it progresses.

3. OP Skill WELL EXPLAINED

4. NOT THE STEREOTYPICAL GOD LEVEL MC.

He was just portrayed as super strong due to the timing and circumstances when using his skills. Heck, people doesn't even know that he is just an inch away from fainting because of exessive mana usage. Also, his image was glorified by allies and enemies alike, either to ride the bus with him or to put him in a difficult spot.

5. SIDE CHARACTERS are WELL DEFINED, and has IMPORTANT and RELEVANT ROLES in the story.

6. BALANCED GENRE APPLICATION

7. GOOD TRANSLATION

BANE:

1. TOO MUCH KOREAN NAMES THAT SOUNDS ALIKE or has the SAME FIRST NAME.

EG. KIM something name is like cabbages in the story. I mostly get confused on who's Kim character is this Kim again? Even the MC's name has a Kim on it.

Author's naming sense is so POOR, that you might think his whole family, relatives, neighbors, and even their cat's name, has a KIM on it.

Like Kim Meowmeow or something.

PS: (i can't stop posting these words/phrases)

- IceKIM

-KIM on, hurry up!

-Where do you KIM from?

-KIMistry

-KIMinology

-KIMpartment

-KIMping

-KIMpfire

-KIMunity.

Muhaha. Peace Mr/Ms Author, Editor, and Translator

2. MC likes to KEEP PROBLEMS to HIMSELF. Which at some point gets annoying. It's not like he has STD. He's like walking in the path of MARTYRDOM which im not quite fond of.

3. A Heroine potential "Chae Nayun" is like my Ex. GF. Selfish and annoying. Well, I think she developed into this kind of character because the MC kept the truth to himself. What a letdown. This is 4* for me, sadly my hand slipped and pressed 5*, tsk! <<less

I'll be brief.

Plot wise, it is interesting. Translation is good but the flow of the story sucks.

The MC Cloudhawk is like a plague to good side characters wherein they die after 3-5 chapters after they are introduced. We can all accept that because there is "tragedy" tag in it but honestly this thing has become a routine to this novel that at some point you get tired of it.

... more>> Too much foreshadowing and conspiracy, but less story development.

The plot armor is so strong in this novel. Author keeps telling us (readers) that the MC is so weak yet he keeps getting him involved in powerful enemies that you might wonder if he's a masochist.

In this story, the action scenes are bullsh*t because the MC can only handle the goons and then he keeps getting captured or beaten up by their boss but somehow, they wont kill him ang then he gets teleported by his OP stone relic ang gets stronger. <<less

A Wild Last Boss Appeared

I tried reading this because a lot of people kept telling, this is basically like "Overlord" or some famous novel out there but, aside from the MC being so OP, I can't get any similarities.

This is so hyped that I can only lament on the mindset of those who appreciate this kind of literary work.

My point is, the "PLOT" is so horrible that I can't stop rereading the synopsys and the supposed world background of the story from time to time, only to sigh and ask, what kind of t***h... more>> am I reading?

Rebels are considered heroes? And the MC made his character the Demon King? He's not even a GM in the game and he can make the company go with his whims? He's just a player man!

He had most of the power to rule due to (plot armorX1000) and then he finds that boring? WTF? He almost quit school just to play that game and he's even earning his own cash from the game! Then you're telling me he suddenly thinks he is bored and wants his character to get beaten up and die? (In a gamers perspective, I can only say: "are you for real"?) He even wan'ts the title "Demon King?" Like what did he do to deserve that title? He just grind and grind and even paid a hefty sum to avail (OP Items) to be at his level. Then he can be demon king?

What concept of Demon King is that?

As a gamer a long time ago, this is just ridiculous for me.

And the gender bender tag, please,..... It's like selling ordinary apples then putting a sign that it was from some renouned apple farm.

People are getting wierder as years pass by. Now I can understand why some countries are on decline despite having a rich culture and heritage. Why their human resource is at the brink of... <<less

The Tutorial Is Too Hard

IN MY

O P I N I O N!

BOON:

... more>> 1. The PLOT is INTERESTING

2. The CONCEPT is GOOD

BANE:

1. RELEVANT INFOS are CHIPPED.

There are some parts that are missing like you expect to read more how/why that particular scene happened, and then there is no more. You press next chapter and it's a time skip again.

2. REPITITIVE KNOWLEDGE that makes you scroll down a lot and you won't be lost in the story's progression

3. TOO MUCH FLASHBACK. Content wise, it's not great. It tries to justify why MC is so OP in 60th floor with a 350+ level, (like WTF?) This is tutorial right? 60th floor right? I know it's hell but.. but... Idk anymore...

Spoiler
  • EG. The God of Slowness is pleased about the MC, gives him an OP blink skill (has 5 charges, replenishes 1 charge evry 5mins, cancels motion eg. MC is punched hard, he uses blink and violah! impact is metigated, he even uses it to attack, like timing it right during blink and attacking like crashing towards his enemies while enveloped by his OP wings or, blinking with a punch or a sword slash, you can only imagine)
The God of Adventure that's not that impressed of the MC, suddenly gets anxious and gives him an OP wing skill. (No mana/energy consumption is needed to use it, wings is max level, can be used to glide, made of hard crystal that can be used to attack physically, can defend physically he just needs his body to withstand the impact (story wise his body is also OP), and, the wings has a 100% magic def. If I remembered it correctly) and... It even gets an upgrade later on.

Even other Gods gave him OP skills as well, and we can expect more as the story goes on, especially God of Death that gave him, I think it was between 3 - 5 OP Soul skills

    [collapse]
4. GENERIC SIDE CHARACTERS

5. GETTING OP SKILLS LIKE CABBAGES

MC gets powers from the Gods too easily and the writer failed to give the proper reason why he gets it. This novel is the epitome of OPness. Unlike in other novels, the MCs gets an OP skill in the beggining. Here, he gets it like cabbages as the story goes on.

6. STILL NO ANTAGONIST. Author is just feeding us foreshadowings. Everyone is just afraid of him.

7. BORING.

He is basically farming in the tutorial. That's a first!

Tutorial farming? Wuuttt?

Past hundred chaps ady and still in tutorial. No progress at all, coz when you talk about tutorial, then there is the practical application. He even levels up in tutorial. D hell?

8. Translation wise, do I even need to say it?

This is Overrated. <<less
