I truly cant understand why so many people like this coming of age story. This is not a story about weak to strong. This is a story about people lacking common sense and how they suffer for it. Fish floundering on land is a good metaphor. During the very slow story telling you will read how the re****ed characters gain common sense. Apparently this is called plot progression.

Surprised that this story hasn't been picked up. It´s an enjoyable mix of shounen and mature mixed together. Many interesting and likable characters.

The story focuses on how the MC establishes a base in both worlds and the adventures he encounters while trying to enjoy life.

What I really like in this story is that cultivation isn't so heavily tied to bone age. This removes the rush/stress for the MC to constantly seek lucky chances and you get a completely different pacing.

To sum it up, nice break from the usual stories. The... more>> raws are easy to read btw ^^ <<less

I liked it in general, a decent 3 star. While it has a slightly rushed ending, it has one. I would personally have preferred it ending about 50 chapters earlier ... more>>

when the MC met Orenba who had guided his path. It was hinted earlier that Orenba was the only latitude traveler and that he had been trying the uplift others to reach his strenght but had always failed. The last 50 chapters changes it to much compared to what was said/implied earlier. Would have been a better ending there.

As for the central theme of the novel, the biochip, it totally doesn't get the spotlight it deserves, it´s mostly used as a glorified calculator.

What could have been better was a true reflection of the brutality occurring in pursuit of strength. Here it´s mostly glossed over with endless resources and knowledge everywhere. Due to this, I would dub this story the shounen version of WMW. It´s not a clone though even if they share many of the same elements, the story has its own unique storyline. <<less

While the story has some interesting parts Its no wonder that the novel is only 456 chapters long. The MC became superpowerful extremely fast. We are told in chapter 14 that the MC now indirectly has the power to destroy the earth. Yeah... I can totally feel the tension from any possible antagonist at this moment. Like, where can the story even go from this moment on? It feels more like a wank trip from the writer what he would do with godlike powers. One Punch does it well while... more>> this story deals poorly with it´s overpowered main character. <<less

God of Money

So I'm almost at the end of the story (184/203) and the thing that stands out is how silly the story is. How complex situations gets solved with one paragraph. Gonna buy BMW corporation. BMW bought! Yeah, not happening that fast or that easy when multiple pension funds and the German gov is also involved in the ownership.

The story is all about a chance for revenge so far, money is just a tool for that. For some reason instead of just hiring a hitman and solving all his former murderers,... more>> he is determined to smash them with money. Now to smash his opponents with money causes the story to have absurd amounts thrown around, I think he is good for over 200 billion $ at this moment, he is acclaimed as the richest guy in the world and he still hasn't enough money to smash his enemies. See what I mean with silly?

(Finished the very silly story with a poor ending and it´s clearly written to be picked up as tv-show instead of working as a novel) <<less

The translation is great, however the story in itself is more info dumping then a story. There writer doesn't seem to get the concept of a story needing tension. For example when the MC's father gets visited by an unknown man in the middle of the night, I the reader is like *yawn* due to the storytelling. Its not a bad story, however the telling of it ain't very good.

While I enjoyed reading this story I must say that the first half is better then the last. The last 50 chapters doesn't surprise the reader but there was a lot of opportunities to make the story greater then what we ended up with. Would have loved to see something more come about regarding the infallible female paladin and her encounters with Leylin then what we got.
