Reincarnated into a Werewolf, the Demon Lord Servants

I'm really liking it, both the army/kingdom management and battles. But I especially like the emotions the MC has and how that affects his decisions, good and bad (making him both wise and reckless). It's definitely written well and I can realy empathize to the MC. There are no cheap tricks/plot armour and as a reincarnator, he's not unrealistically knowledgeable or adaptive. We can still see the gaps between his current and previous world occasionally.

The story talks about a human who reincarnated as a werewolf. He commands his battlefield and... more>> rules his town (which is a former human town, now occupied by demons) like how a demon with human memories would. <<less

Ascendance of a Bookworm

A normal isekai with the MC's consciousness being "transported" into a child's body.

I greatly enjoyed reading this. Firstly, the MC isn't OP and isn't filled with a lot of random knowledge isekai MC has that the character shouldn't reasonably have. The MC is a bookworm and thus has a lot of theoretical knowledge on things, but lack a lot of practical knowledge, like dealing with other people or just being aware with herself in general.

What I like the most about this story is tho, life isn't all smooth, and Ascendance... more>> of a Bookworm showed that really well. It's a well written, engaging and relaxing Slice of Life, that can showcase the twists and turns of life and the hope and the despair of the MC, which a lot of SoL isekai tend to forget.

The MC is naive, as she should be. She lived a privileged life as a former Japanese and it showed. She keeps creating trouble from her lack of awareness of her surrounding and how different that is from Japan. I actually really like the fact that the MC is childish in parts (because she was a bookworm, without a lot of life experience) and she doesn't keep reiterating her mental age (because honestly, mental age doesn't work by adding your previous life's age with your new age - this has been a huge pet peeve of mine).

Overall, it was a really good reading experience and I highly recommend it to my fellow SoL readers <<less
