It was interesting at first but when her friend came around it got totally sh*tty in my opinion. The plot armor is strong, I mean just because she learns to dive and swim she then 'accidentally' finds a secret place that can grant special armor and skills. Then there's the part with the MC that doesn't make any sense. She levels up and puts all her status points into her defense and yet her hp is still the same. The MC is a dense loli, cute, OP and she has a fan club. She's pretty much a mary sue but then her friend came making the story about TWO mary sues.
Nah, not worth my time.
So the MC is Korean and he's pretty much the strongest person in the tutorial game. Cool. But then of all 'miracles', a beginner accidentally selecting the hell mode appears! Of course it turns out to be a beautiful young woman and of course she has to be Korean. (Talk about the odds when supposedly the whole human race is being gradually summoned.) She's also an archery Olympic gold medalist, she's so perfect right? A Mary Sue to be exact. It really pisses me off with how easy she gets it with how she has the MC's backing. Even though the MC went through hell she gets a lot of free passes.
MC is supposed to be a responsible working adult. Yet when she's sent into another world she turns into a very childish character. It feels like I'm reading a story about a five year old instead of a 20+ adult woman. Then there's the part about her not setting foot outside her home for two years. I understand that she's scared of getting hurt by the monsters but she has a whole LOT of high quality potions to use in case she does get injured. Potions which she can easily make with her cheat skill. Ughh, characters younger than her are more mature than her as well! It's really hard to continue reading the story or even enjoy it when I'm constantly annoyed with her.
The ML starts off as very cold and paranoid which is justified seeing as he's been betrayed a lot but when he falls in love with the MC he's very romantic. (Giving him a ring and vowing that he'll destroy whatever/whomever hurts the MC, even himself.) The MC is great too, he never annoyed me which is a first since usually a BL/heroine will usually have traits that can get me irritated. (Childishness and being dumb etc.) I'm kinda obsessed with this story.
Sure it was very interesting at first. I mean come on, a veteran Hollywood actor transmigrated to a third rate idol's body? Cool. I really expected, auditions, training etc. BUT it seems to mostly talk about the drama of being a very beautiful male being chased by high profile scumbags. It gets so draggy and almost like every chapters are fillers since nothing much ever happens. It gets so boring to the point which made me skim the chapters and only really read when there are interesting scenes. (Like he's finally acting and such, and those are so few) There's also the part where there aren't any really likeable characters. I couldn't really connect with the MC because he seems so perfect without any flaws. Then there's his personality, he's like a robot, nothing ever fazes him. (Not even when he's raped or about to be) The author also seems to be more interested in writing about bed scenes and scandals rather than focusing into making the MC a 'True Star'.
He's just so obsessed with his much younger brother and he pervs on him too. I read a machine translation through google translation for about 9 chapters ahead of the already released ones and couldn't continue since the MC/older brother really disgusts me. I usually like incest with yaoi but I really can't stand the MC on this one. Seriously, it's like every single chapter he cries and then his little brother licks his eyeballs. Wut!? When his brother is separated into another room the MC sneaks into the little brother's room and becomes an Edward Cullen staring at him sleeping while having thoughts of wanting to touch him. The idea of a 16 years old teenager lusting over a five year old is just too much for me. Maybe I'll try reading this again when the little brother is at least 16 years old.
I prefer this story rather than True Star. It's way better in my opinion. Of course there were parts that are just damn annoying: The earlier chapters of the story has so many typos, wrong grammar etc. As the translator didn't edit the earlier ones even though she/he already has an editor. It was really hard to continue reading due to the many mistakes but I persevered knowing from reading the other reviews that it will get better later on. (It gave me a headache.) BUT! It's absolutely worth it!
He just lets anyone (love interests even when they just met) molest him. Either through kissing or even doing him. Like seriously? He just friggin takes it with only halfhearted protests. Then there's his absurd denseness; The male lead is pretty much head over heels for him and it's so freaking OBVIOUS but of course it doesn't penetrate through his thick skull. Even though he has been done many times and being so treasured by the guy.
