premise is good and it started off in a nice scene that is unique but turns sour in a few chapters. The cliche sudden love is annoying which is present in most bad jap novels. The sudden favoritism the employer gives the protagonist is unnatural and very forced. It becomes harder to read the more I progress.

If brainwash and mind break is romance then sure, this is romance. This thing is so confusing that it is hard to grasp even the genders of the character. To much contradiction and sudden changes. The author even forgets the settings he placed in the earlier chapters.
Spoiler

Ex: Out of the 2 heroes, the gun hero is supposed to be competing with the other hero for the affection of the princess. This changes in just a few chapters that the Gun hero is a sick f*** that is an abusive shota-con yandare type of person that is infatuated with MC

Funny how the author just changes a characters personality willy nilly. Well there is no character development at all so lets just dump all that in the bin. Awful time skip that suddenly changes the genre to city building.
Spoiler

Ex: The generic boastful naive mage suddenly becomes a silent type mage

It's ok and cute but gets too repetitive.

MC does something, everybody is shocked, everybody say they wont get surprised no matter what MC does again, MC does something, everybody is shocked, everybody say they wont get surprised no matter what MC does again

It started off cute. The embarrassment from the suit and stuff like that which is what the story is supposed to be about but then it now focus on the OPness of the suit and exaggerated reactions. MC does not even mind the suit anymore.
