Typical JP novel, MC who's in a young body while being an old man and is perverted. On chapter 26 and he's far from being OP which is upsetting since that's the only reason I started reading it but some people might find it refreshing. I can say that at least his first female contact didn't seem like the usual damsel in distress who falls in love at first sight.

It feels like that other novel about having a class of being jobless with 400 times growth cheat but that one... more>> did the humor better in my opinion. This one's a nice read to do as a break between novels, that's all. <<less

It's alright as a novel to kill time with. Doesn't compare to EER at all nor any others I've read till now.

The MC's personality is sh*t and I do agree with other reviews that his family is also crap. But I have to admit that were it not for his family's sh*tty personality and the weird females he has around him I'd have gotten tired of his personality and dropped this already.

I also can't understand if he does or does not have mental damage from the previous world.

I like this novel but like other korean novels I've read it has the same problem in my opinion. The plot wants to be too deep, it could be nice if there was a hidden boss behind the dungeons but there's a hidden boss behind that boss who happens to be squidward from a different universe. You know it's meh.

But the thing that bothered me the most about this novel is the lack of character development for those besides the main characters, I feel like only one female got good... more>> development in this series and she wasn't really close to the MC. Plus I dislike how not so smart the MC is when it comes to protecting his family. The MC from EER and ICDS seem like they know their family can be targeted and take at least some counter measures. At least this MC is pretty ruthless and has his priorities in order as in world danger > the press. And I also thought the last chapter could have been done much better, it felt rushed and lackluster compared to how the rest of the novel was developing.

It's an interesting novel nonetheless, I recommend to read if you're waiting for your other novels to update. <<less

I thought I'd give this a try. Reviews said that it was written by a 14 year old but I've heard them say the same about Arifureta so I thought I'd give it a try and it was the biggest waste of time I've had in a while.

There's so much wrong with this that I even made a list on my phone out of pure resentment. Now here's what's wrong, and this will have minor spoilers towards the MC's character not any plot holes, characters or to the plot.
    • We've got to be reminded that he was called the "crimson shadow ghost" every other freaking chapter and it just gets cringy after a while.
    • MC can't handle his emotions at all, for someone who was at the "top" of assassins you'd think he'd have experience with not letting his emotions get to him but he's always getting pissed.
    • This one has to do with the above but we're told he's so pissed he's sending killing intent/bloodthirst he's never sent before, maximum killing intent blah blah blah
    • The giant plot hole that he's supposed to be the best of all assassins with only 3 years on the job, even if he was a genius the above reasons would never make him the best in any world. Not including the other reasons I'm going to list.
    • He's lived a "life of darkness" as if 3 years of select killing counts as living in the darkness, it just sounds like the author is trying way too hard and failing.
    • Will hurt a woman because those who don't are standing on a high horse when he himself has 3 types of people he won't kill just so he can feel human. (Children, mothers and good people or some BS like that) Yeah I'm sure he'd reach the top of assassination by not killing everyone that's a target.
    • This guy is really immature for a supposed assassin
    • Somehow can't deal with the "killing intent" of jealous cherry boys.
This started out interesting, it really did. I thought it would be something to read while waiting for my other novels to update, maybe not interesting enough to bookmark but like a guilty pleasure. But as I kept on reading the cringe and moronisism made me so irritated that I had

to write this. Waste of time.

If you want an ex assassin story I'd recommend Hidden Assassin over this any day, at least the MC in that one knows how to act.

The plot seems interesting, it reminds me of the other novel "everyone in class got summoned to a different world except me"

But the grammar is the translations is so awful it literally hurts my brain trying to piece it together. Couldn't even finish the prologue.

Will come back to it if the grammar/translation becomes better as I enjoy these types of stories.

I really enjoyed this story, only problem is the lack of updates months at a time.

But the story itself is interesting, I like the MC and his circumstances as it hooked me on the first chapter. There are a few plot holes like the ability to survive an attack from a dragon when he's level 1 (just an example, no dragon has attacked him) but since he's the MC and we can't have him dying so easily I let it pass.

I like all his companions minus the slave because after... more>> another companion she becomes irrelevant. What I do enjoy is his journey from weak to strong and all the trials and tribulations he must go through. Feel sorry for the people who stopped at chapter 30 or something as things keep getting interesting. I hope this story continues because I really love his growth and the "cheat" he has so I look forward to seeing him getting stronger and using his cheat to see how much more that will level him up.

QUICK MINI SPOILER though from the review at the very top..... the adventurer's guild has a room that can detect lies so they'd know if the information given was true or not, the fact that that person didn't f**king pay attention to that tells me he/she wasn't interested in the story from the get go. Also, he got that slave in order to learn the common sense from that world, it was explained like 3 times. <<less

Typical OP MC, no seriousness in this, all comedy. He's got the highest skill level possible in any skill whatsoever, and he wants a harem cause why not.

The story was re-written by the author and some changes were made, which made some sense as the MC is OP with his 100 skills. But some changes that were made, a character added to be exact, were questionable and a LOT of people complained about it. With good reason, adding a tsundere when there's already one and they're both at the extremity... more>> of their characteristic would be an idiotic move if I say so myself. But sadly the translator decided to take these complaints as personal attacks to their very soul and decided to stop translating. Seriously though, how weak minded do you have to be to get offended when others attack a work somebody else wrote. Then again I don't know how many "this character is annoying" comments I could read before I got sick of it, or I wouldn't read the comments at all maybe? <<less

MC is such a massive pushover that it made me stop reading this novel. He's, and I hate to use this term, your typical beta male Japanese character. Honestly I think the thing that ruined this novel is him getting all the information of his character stuck in his head, it would've worked better if he didn't remember all his sorcery and had to relearn his character or that he doesn't have the memories of when he was a salaryman. But because we get both, him with his character's skills/magic/items/knowledge... more>> but have his facial features and his memory he becomes such a pushover. Should he have had the look of his own character then maybe it could have helped him come to terms that he's dead and he's no longer *insert name* but he's now his character.

This guy just can't accept that he's no longer a japanese man and he should no longer act like one so we get a pushover MC who's stronger than everyone but gets walked on like it's normal.

Man Diablo was better cause at least his acting was believable and Rimuru introduced himself as such instead of his past Japanese name.

sigh, just writing this irritated me. <<less

I feel as if I've read this story before, and I loved it when he didn't follow the usual "come with me" cliche. But I could also swear that when I did read it before it had way better grammar.

I don't know if it's the story or the translation but I'm going to sin both, the writing is all over the place. The perspective switches from first and third person every other paragraph. They use past tense to describe current moments and vise versa. Honestly if the translation was better... more>> and the grammar wayyyyy more polished then this would be a nice little story to read in order to kill some time. But sadly I could not get past chapter 6, even the story suffers and not due to translation. There was a segment where the MC (or narrator, can't really tell) said "I did this and then this, MC does this and this" and this was during an action piece which made it stand out more and made it that much more unforgivable.

Read something else if you have the option, but if you've read everything out there and are used to bad translations, then go ahead and take a crack at this. <<less

OP protagonist, not much character development. Nice novel but don't go in expecting a lot.

Only thing that bothered me was the yandere characters, they're fine once in a while but when there's more than one it gets annoying. And even more so when the characters are in a lower position than the MC, i.e. A slave being yandere and threatening her master for some comedic relief. There should be an order to things, it would be like Albedo pressuring Ainz any time a female got close and forcing herself on... more>> him, it doesn't make sense. And it doesn't make even more sense considering the abilities this MC has. <<less

Ore to Kawazu-san no Isekai Hourouki

I dropped this after chapter 25, the review above that said it was similar to Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu made me read it. But jesus christ this MC makes Makoto look like a freaking genius!

He's supposed to be a college student, he'd have to have at least some intelligence with regards to the world and people, he'd have to at least studied some history, and yet he always acts like a 14 year old. God it's infuriating, and what's worse than all of that is that this novel tries... more>> too hard to be a comedy. Something doesn't need to have comedic scenarios in every line for it to be funny. Hell, I've laughed/smiled way more reading Arifureta than this, actually....I don't think this made me laugh even once. This novels tries too hard to be funny, and what puts the icing on the cake is that the MC is the butt end of most scenarios. We don't need every other line to be a tsukomi for the novel to be funny, it gets tedious/boring after a while.

Can you imagine an MC who is insanely OP being the butt end of jokes, apologizing to those he doesn't need to, not getting respected for the power he holds, having the attitude and intelligence of a 14 year old while having the imagination of a 45 year old most of the time.

I couldn't even enjoy the "slice of life" in this novel, read at your own risk. (translation is good though) <<less

I read this, read something else, then something else and so on. Then a few months later I come back and do it all over again. And I think I liked this novel but I came back after a few months or so and I honestly can't remember the MC, his powers, the main heroine or the other harem members. I can only slightly remember a little girl summoning a dragon or something.

What I'm trying to say that out of all the novels I'm reading, I could not be bothered... more>> to remember this one even if I tried, and it's not the first time this has happened with a novel too. But what dug the final nail in the coffin is the translation, it's not google translate horrible but it's not amazing either. The grammar errors in this and third/first person switches make it unfun to read. It's like being in a car while going down a smooth road when all of the sudden a bump appears and shakes you, then smooth road to another bump and it repeats with you hoping the smooth road would last longer. It gets irritating after a while, so I dropped this. I'm still a leecher so I won't talk bad about the translators cause they're doing god's work regardless. <<less

This is a mediocre novel. Mediocre MC, 2D characters at best and absolutely no plot. While it's supposed to be a slice of life, it truly felt like most chapters were just slices of their lives with no sustenance to stick them together.

Most of the novel is repetitive as it's always the MC using magic to entertain his wives over and over again. The magic thing could have been done better too, instead of one or two new magics a chapter it could have gone with 4 or 5, with... more>> combinations to keep us interested since he does know thousands of magics supposedly.

Even the warm and cutesy moments are lost, I found myself sighing internally because the MC would always say "i feel warm and cosy" It would be like someone saying "it's funny" every time a joke is said. If you want diabetes sweetness then read 'Raising children in another world', has cute moments, MC is also OP and the novel doesn't try to shove illegal lolis in your face like this one does. There's no character development, no world building, no plot, no drama and no logic really. Besides the translation the only redeeming quality this novel has is that the chapters are quite short so you can finish this novel in a day or so if you have absolutely nothing else to read.

Yeah it's mediocre, go read death march or something. <<less
