Just so you know, I dropped this after trying to read through chapter 2, but gave up because of the miserable grammar of the translation. The story is as far as I know original, and it has a nice feeling to it, but the translation killed it for me. Every chapter is like a minefield filled with mistakes that explode in front of your eyes, but if you manage to ignore them, then I recommend giving this story a try.

Interesting new concept with a healer as MC instead of godlike mage or some sort of wargod. A relaxing slice of life story about a healer who can cure any wound with one spell and his (as of now) one slave. I've read ahead and translated for myself up to chapter 7 (only 3 chapters are "officially" translated as of now), and I must say that it's a nice read if you don't have to translate the story yourself. I also like that the MC chooses an unconventional weapon, one... more>> I haven't seen before in any story.
Spoiler

His weapon of choice is a mace. It's revealed in chapter 6.

A nice and easygoing novel, and although there are only 8 chapters translated so far, it looks to be a great read. As of now he hasn't really cured any big diseases yet, but it's an enjoyable read. Also, you don't need extensive medical knowledge to enjoy the read. Just a bit sad that the updates are so irregular.

If you're interested in the smithing techniques of old, without machines and mass production, then this novel will give you what you want. The MC starts with only some bronze tools (spade and pickax) and moves on to forge a furnace, hammer anvil and more. He introduces modern techniques into a society where they only had bronze tools. A unique atmosphere, rather large time-skips, and very informative of old Japanese smithing techniques and tools. Relaxing and not too long chapters.

So it’s a story about a human Martial Artist who is at the end of his life. He leaves his heritage (Martial Arts School) to his adopted daughter (an elf) and ends up reincarnating into the same world a couple years later with his memory intact. Meaning we have an MC who trains his Shijima style from early on and runs into his formerly adopted daughter who now tries to make him the successor to the Shijima style.

The story has potential, not much in the sense of world-building or character... more>> development yet, but there have so far only been 11 translated chapters, so I can’t really say much about it.

The translation is good, even though it’s quite slow (every 22.7 days according to NU). Each chapter takes about 10 minutes to read (not the first 2).

All in all it’s a good read if you have to waste an hour or two on some slow day. Hopefully there will be more soon, and hopefully it doesn’t get dropped (again) before we get to see MC’s OP-ness. <<less

A very easygoing Light Novel set in a VRMMO game, but unlike the other Virtual Reality novels out there, this one isn't all about level and fighting. The MC gets a female avatar (even though that's supposed to be impossible), and chooses a skill-set that includes some of the most disliked of them all. We get to see his (her?) very easygoing adventures in this game and his (her?) interactions with his sisters and friends.

Very enjoyable read if you're tired of all the Xianxia and Wuxia out there. It has... more>> about the same atmosphere as 'The man picked up by the gods'. <<less

and then goes onto bring an otherworlder back to modern Japan. The story hasn't advanced further as of yet (07/10/15), so I can't guarantee that you'll like this story, but the atmosphere is alike 'The Man picked up by the Gods' and 'Death March'. <<less
