Especially the kisses! OMG!! For now, the two (more like Lian/MC) think of it as an 'emergency technique' but they can't deny it feels good, ah! And the sad backstories...*sniff* How they both are lonely and lost their loved ones... it's so tragic... BUT I hope later on they can confide in each other their worries. :3
Even though I had already read the spoilers discussion forum on NU, I WAS SO SHOCKED AND AMAZED BY HOW THINGS TURNED OUT. Like, Muxiang was the original Chu Lian? I thought it was going to be Fuyan. The interactions between He Changdi and Chu Lian (our MC) gave me heart attacks and diabetes. >w< I can't believe how evil Xiao Bojian is. Sometimes I wish Chu Lian was more careful as well, but still it makes her human and all the more loveable. I love how everything turned out for the best. Like the bad guys got their punishments and the good characters received what they deserved at last. Except for Chu Lian, who I felt should've accepted the Royal Princess title (because I just think that for all she's gone through, she really REALLY REALLY deserves it).
After Xiao Bojian was apprehended, He Changdi and Chu Lian reunited again and everyone got their deserved ending. But the way the author wrapped everything up felt too rushed to me. It was very good, but it wasn't enough to satisfy that ending syndrome. T_T I think many readers got too spoiled with the long descriptions of delicious food, so now that the story's over, the author does it again! This entire novel was a feast that I gobbled up too quickly. It was heavenly experience.. but it was just too short! ଘ (੭*ˊᵕˋ) ੭* ̀ˋ Now please excuse me as I proceed to lie down and contemplate my existence.
super ugly sobs echo throughout my room
