Returning from the Immortal World
September 28, 2018
Status: Completed
Probably the worst WN I have ever read. I mean this was worse than MGA and PMG.

Plot:

Don't get me wrong, it had GREAT potential, but the author f*cked it up. The novel starts off pretty good. We learn about the MC, why he's returning from the immortal world, what he needs to do to go back. The book would've been perfect if the author split each Mortal World (Earth), Immortal World, and Divine World, 400-500 chapters each, but what he DID was have 1250 chapters in Earth, 150 chapters in... more>> Immortal World, and like 16 chapters in Divine World. THIS is the main reason that destroyed this novel. Another reason why this novel sucks is because of the endless loop: MC walks randomly, someone sees him and insults him, he does nothing, they get suspicious and call their friend to investigate him, they find out MC's identity and ask for forgiveness by kowtowing. This dialogue is repeated endlessly from beginning to end.

Romance:

Spoiler

He gets betrayed by his wife in Immortal World; she kills him at the weakest moment.

[collapse]

Villains:

No amazing villains. Every "villain" is just either some young master that dies in a few chapters after meeting or a hyped up villain that dies instantly.

Cultivation:

Cultivation system is basic. What makes it worse is that there's no Dao comprehension; the whole process is just closing up and energy accumulation. THIS DOESN'T MAKE YOU A GENIUS!!!! The author attempts his best at Dao, but there's like 3 sentences in the entire novel about Dao.

MC:

I like the MC's personality (he's calm and low key) until he gets into those situations where the young master investigates his identity and he extorts them like a low class. The MC is a 10, 000+ year old powerhouse and he says "mom", "dad", and "senior" to random old people. I mean, he's 10, 000 years older than them. I understand about the "filial piety", but SHOW SOME OF THAT POWERHOUSE DISPOSITION!!!!

Side Characters:

There's no development for any of them. For romance, either the girl instantly falls in love or there's some kind of aphrodisiac involved.

Final conclusion:

Stay the f*ck away from this horrendous novel. If you do want to read it, keep it in the bottom of your list and hope you keep adding novels at the top. <<less

Long Live Summons!
September 8, 2018
Status: Completed
The MC's name is Yue Yang.

Pro:

1. 1st half of story is good.

2. Lots of romance.

3. MC is OP!

4. Awesome enemies.

Neutral:

1. Not bad ending. Better than 90% of other novels.

Cons (Lots) :

1. 2nd half story in Upper Heaven Realm sucks.

2. The power levels are all over the place. One second an ant like character is getting crushed, next chapter, he's soloing the battlefield.

3. The s*x scenes are suppressed, i.e. "Little brother" or "knight charging into the battlefield and breaking through the lines".

4.
Spoiler

The MC keeps saying he's hardworking, but he has the most cheats and hacks a MC can have. He also has 4 Godlike beings living inside him ready to save his life if he gets his ass kicked.

[collapse]

5. He never had s*x with the main wife.

6. He found out he wasn't related to his sisters, but there was no development to that.

7. The MC is SOOOOO OP, but he messes around too much, prolonging a fight he can win instantly to like 10 chapters.

8. The MC keeps letting the enemies go.

9. Too much: "He's so talented. If we don't kill him he's gonna end up being a disaster in the future!"

10. If the MC diligently cultivated alone without babying his followers and harem, the story would end in like 400 chapters no 1399.

Spoiler

There's a clan called Hundred Flowers Clan or something and all the children of theirs are female and when they wanted a male heir, one of the members, the MC's "mother", brought a child from the Immortal World to make him an heir. The MC was originally a True Dragon, but since they fused their bloodlines with his, he became human. He was the original MC, not the one that he reincarnated into.

[collapse]

Overall, I suggest not to read the novel. If you do want to, quit right after the Heaven Realm Arc ends, after he defeats the Sun King.

The Strongest System
August 28, 2018
Status: Completed
Spoiler

This book is a harem, so don't listen to the people that are on chapter 500 saying it's not. Even though the harem is forced, it's still one. Just two women overall. The novel is hilarious and everything except the ending was fine. The ending was so dumb I got frustrated. The MC, Lin Fan, finds out that he is the only being that exists. Even in the past, present, and future. Even in all of reality and parallel universe. The other characters were created by him. Meaning there was really no point of the story.

Martial God Asura

Edit: The review below is my old review. I used to think this trash of a novel was awesome and it was, until Chu Feng enters Hundred Refining Ordinary Realm. All the hype that was built around his Heavenly Lightning Bloodline died because any stray cat and dog had this bloodline in the HROR. There's no more romance from this point on. Chu Feng cultivates so slowly and there's a joke in the fanbase about how his father, Chu Xuanyuan, is actually the main character because of how fast he... more>> cultivates and how he's almost reached the peak cultivation rank in the entire novel (Martial God). The MC is still 5 BIG realms from reaching Martial God. There's 9 small realms in each big realm, so 9*45, meaning this novel won't end until 5000+ chapters. The cons from my old review is still valid because the tropes haven't changed. Each arc is a copy of the previous one with each ending with a "mysterious mastermind" that manipulated all the events in the arc. We find out that "mysterious" individual is the lowest of the low ranked cultivator from the realm higher than the one CF's on. Now my rating is 0/5.

Love the story. Not because of the normal plot line with bunch of filler arcs and sh*t, but the overall plot that builds up throughout the story.

Romance: I mean I appreciate the romance at the beginning but after that forget about the romance until like hundreds of chapters later (even after that, the romance is not that long). There are rape instances, 2 to be exact, but one of them, in my opinion, is perfectly justified (You try to rape me, I rape you). The other two are also kind of justified (maybe?) because when it happened, it was during war, so yeah.

Powers: The power ups are my favorite, especially the one that relates to the main plot, the lightning beast. DO NOT disregard Chu Feng's lightning powers because they are f**king op and right now he can't utilize their full potential, but in the future, oh boy.

Spoiler

If Chu Feng wasn't abandoned by his parents and raised in his birth place until his current age at chapter 1747, he could destroy the earth with a single flick of a finger (Divine Lightning op)

[collapse]

Translation: The translation is awesome, even though we are like 1000 chapters behind the main story. About 2-3 chapters released everyday.

Characters: The main character is Chu Feng and only a few chapters follow him across his journey. After he leaves a location, he might never visit is again. The characters that do follow him need power ups through unconventional means if they want to keep up with him.

Favorite parts: When Chu Feng acts with his emotions. The short instances when his lightning powers are displayed.

Cons: Too many people want to kill Chu Feng. Too much arrogant characters.
Spoiler

f**king bitches, if Chu Feng was raised in his birth place, they would be wanting to eat his sh*t.

[collapse]
Filler arcs. Items acquired by Chu Feng are not used much. Skills acquired by Chu Feng are not used enough, especially at the later chapters.

Overall, a good novel. Though a bit slow, but I love the main plot building. <<less

Great Demon King
March 3, 2019
Status: Completed
Very good novel until he decides to go to the God Continent. Before this, the world the MC lived in is a fairly civilized society. Even though there's nobility corruption and some law of the jungle, the MC had a backing with the Academy, Dark Mantle (the intelligence organization), the prince, etc. A demon being introduced into such a society is what made this novel unique.

After stepping into the God Continent, the MC is looked down by everyone, there's no laws, everyone's plotting against everyone. You would imagine society would... more>> be better in the higher realm, but no it's garbage. All the introduction of random, stupid characters, little to no strength increases with the strength increase being an asspull, idiotic decisions by the MC, made me lose all the favorability I had for this novel. It was so boring and repetitive, I literally was hitting page down on my keyboard instead of the down arrow key. Even from all this, I forced myself to the end, and what do you know? The ending was sh*t.

One of the worst novels I've ever read. <<less

Emperor’s Domination

Status: c3558
Everything up to the spoiler is translated on wuxiaworld. Com.

The MC's name is Li Qiye. He used to be a normal shepherd until his body was stolen by a cult. They took out his soul and put it in the body of an Immortal Crow or the Dark Crow. As the Dark Crow, he flew to every nook and cranny of the world and explored everywhere. He along with another person created Alchemy. Because he was Immortal, he started training a bunch of kids and made them into legends, known... more>> to the world as the "Dark Hand Behind the Curtain" or the "Forbidden Existence". Every time the 9 worlds suffered a crisis, he and his students slaughtered the threat and sometimes he was called by everyone as a "Hero", but he is no hero. He only has a bottom line and if that line if crossed by anyone, they brutally die. He continued this for millions of years until he was forced into his body and that's how the story starts.

After gaining his new body, he makes it as overpowered as possible. He goes through the 9 worlds and slaughters all the geniuses that get on his path to the truth. After becoming Immortal Emperor, he ascends to the 10th world where he does a bunch of stuff until he goes to the Immortal World (Note: There are no immortals. Just a bunch of name with the word "Immortal").

Spoiler

He never meets his love/maid/etc from the 9 worlds, 10th world, after entering the 3 Immortal Worlds. In the first Immortal World, he finds the Longevity Scripture that was left by the Immortal Demon Grotto Master because he was from the 3 Immortal Worlds. The first Immortal World is boring.

In the second Immortal World, he pretends to become one of those trash young masters, everyone thinks he's a mortal, inherits the biggest power sect/country in the second Immortal World, everyone mocks him, his 3 of 4 of his meant to be concubines mock him for being trash, he teaches the concubine that doesn't mock him skillz. For the other 3 he: shames one of them in front of their sect, f*cks another pretty much in front of her another guy that loves her and that she loves (he f*cks and mindf*cks her;literally conquers her very being), and makes another keep regretting for life.

In the third Immortal World, it's pretty much the same as any of the 9 worlds plot, i.e. Stone medicine world, mortal emperor world, etc. BUT AFTER THIS, he goes to a place called Impassable Sea where every First Ancestors goes to if they want to increase their cultivation (First Ancestors are basically above Immortal Emperors/Dao Emperors with 12 Heaven Will/ 12 fate palces). He kills every sea creature (millions and billions of them that are at First Ancestor level) to draw out a hidden boss (also called Supreme Giant). This boss serves another bigger boss that Li Qiye wants to kill. Li Qiye draws this boss out and kills him. Right after he kills the boss, OTHER subordinates of the BIG BOSS come. They f*ck up Li Qiye while the Big Boss watches. They eat his flesh and suck out his soul because in Emperor's Domination if you want to become IMMORTAL, there are two ways: one is to eat all the living beings of the era or to pursue the truth of cultivation. They are clearly the eating type so they want to eat Li Qiye because he has the greatest Daoheart is the history. Li Qiye smiles in amusement and uses the bright piller he took out of his treasure vault in the 9 worlds. He detonates it and it kills the Supre Giant Subordinates, the BIG BOSS, and it literally resets all of reality. The cultivation system changes, countless years pass, and Li Qiye "dies".

When he wakes up, he finds out he's in the 8 Desolates, a new area which was the result of the 9 Worlds and 10th World combining when the bright pillar was detonated. He also finds out he's literally a mortal in cultivation, BUT he can still kill False Immortals (False Immortals are above First Ancestors) with the Thought Scripture he got from the 10th World. He leads a group of kids to a Divine Profound Sect or something where everyone calls him trash because of his cultivation. He makes the hottest girl in the sect into his maid and the two other cucks get pissed because of that. There's a competition where everyone mocks him for not knowing the immensity of the heavens, so he gets the best results in all 3. He pisses off one of the lords of the sect because one of the cucks that was cucked was cucked. He also finds the turtle from Stone Medicine World was alive and he was the founder of the sect he's in. AND THAT'S WHERE THE MTL'S AT!!!!!!!!

Spoiler

This novel's setting is in a post-apocalyptic where aliens called Glasians have released a virus and turned Earth into a such environment. It's not like a fallout where everything's dead and barren. Every animal has mutated and humans are at the bottom of the food chain.

The protagonist, Luo Yuan, is just an average guy, but he gets a game system installed in him by a mysterious civilization. He goes on a journey to safety with his friends and he makes lovers along the way. The system displays his strength, stamina, and all that, but it also displays something called willpower. Read if you want to find out about it. The protagonist doesn't level up his willpower from the xp he gets at the beginning, but this changes later. He increases his cell size to make himself powerful, then makes his body biologically perfect. He also clones the human race to make them perfect.

He starts leveling up his willpower then starts space traveling. As he increases it, he starts becoming a 4th dimensional being, breaking away from the 3rd dimension. There's no cultivation and his powers purely comes from quantum physics and theoretical physics. If you understand physics, this novel is a gem.

The negative from all this powering up is that he starts becoming less human and more of a logical lifeform. He strays from his lovers. Though, he starts regaining his humanity back from suppressing his desire to become strong.

This novel was good overall, but the negative thing was that the side characters are so weak, there's barely any interaction between the MC and them.

[collapse]

A lot of traveling and killing beasts and survival at the beginning. Powering up and starting to become over powered at the mid and becoming a literal god at the end.

Holy sh*t. For a romance harem with a little cultivation novel, it has some brutal and sick moments. The "Pregnancy" tag is a lie (so far) because the child actually dies when the love interest gets stabbed by a thug and loses the ability to become pregnant.

True Martial World
August 30, 2018
Status: c1659
This book having a lot of tournaments is true, but I don't know what the main character should do in a world where only the people who join sects or are in clans thrive. The rogue cultivators die out very quickly and becoming a genius in a sect/clan is the best survival option. Cultivation is a long process and there are only a few ways to speed it up. Yi Yun, since chapter 1, has always fought enemies MUCH MUCH higher ranked/leveled than him. The novel continues this trend and... more>> if Yi Yun wants to keep this up, he has to surpass every single genius EVER.

Even though there are a lot of tournaments, the fight scenes are very detailed and when you read it, you feel that Yi Yun is a unique existence in the cultivation world. Not because he's from Earth, but because of how carefree he is.

Some plot:

Spoiler

There's not much character development. After he gets separated with his wife, reuniting with her isn't his goal. His goal is to survive and what a better way to survive than crush your enemies? He doesn't clench his fists and swear to reunite with his wife and that's what I like.

[collapse]

The MC:

Spoiler

The best thing about the MC is his dao comprehension. As of chapter 1659, the MC Yi Yun, probably has the strongest foundation possible. He has perfect 9-leaf dao fruits for yin yang, space time, sword saber, and chaos destruction. A perfect dao palace. A Great World Creation Tree growing inside his body. A Purple Crystal that can absorb ANY type of energy and turn it to cultivation qi for him. A cultivation manual that makes his body as strong as a Dragon. After reaching Divine Lord, his first Royal Seal is condensed from a Heavenly Dao Fragment, which makes him the first person to do so, ever. His second Royal Seal is condensed from combining three of his bloodlines: Dragon Emperor, Celestial, Fey, and Human. With only being a first Royal Seal Divine Lord, he could severely injure and possibly kill lower-high ranked Godly Monarchs. With the first and second Royal Seal, he can probably fight higher-low ranked Godly Monarchs.

The annoying thing is even with all of this, the author keeps making his foundation stronger and it becomes so strong it takes him sh** ton of resources to rank up.

Some powers get forgotten, but might be brought back. He has a Nine Neontate and Golden Crow, but they are forgotten.

The enemies at the beginning suck, but Yi Yun almost loses his life many times later in the novel because of a few. This changes after he gets 10, 000 Demon Wheel of Existence. His best feat so far is fighting 3 Godly Monarchs simultaneously, severely injuring 2 and wasting the cultivation of the other.

[collapse]

The author seems to read the comments because he really sped up the plot after so much complaining at like 1550 chapter. <<less
