By no means is it original nor is it the best, but I cant see where people hating Kirito comes from. Yes, he gets lucky and nothing major happens to him, but lots of MCs are saved by luck, faith or destiny. I like SAO because it was my first novel I read online and I love everything about it.

Although there are only 4 chapters out atm I think this will be a good story. It kinda reminds me of Ookami Heika no Hanayome for some reason.

Pretty interesting book so far one of the few novels I’ve read recently in the fantasy genre that doesn’t involve Truck-sama or a spiriting away. I’ll be on the lookout for more updates. I love Mars’ personality.

The Novel’s Extra

One of the best novels to binge read.

The MC is likeable without being forced to play the central hero/villain in his story

the girls don’t instantly fall in love with he protagonist

... more>> personally I think all the main girls a very entertaining and unique (seriously how many novels have you read where you don’t know who is who because they’re all bland)

Sure there are a few annoying things about the novel (no novel is 100% perfect all the time) but I believe The Novels Extra deserves its #1 spot on NU because it’s just so darn fun to read <<less

The Book Eating Magician

I really like it. The beginning is slow but once the magic contest is over the story really picks up. There are a few spots where it gets slow but those only last for a few chapters, considering how quick the chapters are to read it’s not really noticeable if you read a bunch of chapters at once. On that note I’ve read all 309 chapters in 4 days which should show you how hooked I am. If you can get through the first 50ish chapters you should get hooked.

Although... more>> it has the dense protagonist tag, Theodore admits he refuses to accept any of the girls’s feelings because he doesn’t feel qualified. He notices their affection and chooses to dodge them. <<less

Not the best novel but the translation in impeccable. I like how each tier in cultivation there is something cool, not just some flat boost in strength and makes each stage more unique. Yi Yun is a decent protagonist, he doesn't think with his d*ck and isn't undesicive.

I've read all 41 chapters released by GT so far, and I have to say it is building up the MC at a pace that isn't too slow or too fast, however the re-use of so many phrases about his bottleneck and all the adjectives describing it are used 3-5 times per chapter at some points and it gets kinda annoying. The author is trying to satisfy the action aspect by having a tournament, but it's lackluster because no one who we care about is fighting.
Spoiler

The MC already beat his mother who was using the same strength that is needed to enter the tournament AND THAT WAS HIM GOING EASY ON HER!

[collapse]
There better be someone who insults the Qing clan that forces the MC up onto the stage or like how Aang fought Toph in Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Modern Isekai done right. The MC gets split into 3 entity’s who go to different worlds while he stays on Earth. All three of them share powers, so if World B MC learns the sword World A and Earth MC also learn it. With the abundance of Isekai novels this comes as a breath of fresh air. The MC is aggressive for a JP protagonist and asks out his crush within the first 10 chapters. Right now with 16 chapters not a whole lot has happened, but the amount of... more>> fluffiness brought forth is staggering <<less
