Protagonist Vaito, who was reincarnated as a werewolf magician, becomes the Vice Commander of the Third Division of the Demon Lord’s Army.

Having captured a frontier trade city, he is in charge of controlling and protecting it.

Formerly a human, now a monster, he understands the feelings of humans and the feelings of monsters as well. Thanks to that he is being considered as a great commander with both wisdom and courage by others, but in reality it is just one hardship after another:

Just for Science Reasons!

i purrresenally like it very much.

About Story: atm (ch. 46) still no real rom, MC has a Crush on a werewolf girl of is village and (main?) female (possible?) has only 1 ch. Were she begins to notice MCs charm.

... more>> Apart from this its more sice of life of MC while governing occupied city and winning over Human Hearts.

The pace is (for me at least) perfect, not rushed and not stretched.

Characters a bit too less described for my taste, esspacially The (good ol' Werewolf) Village people. Some first Chapters describing the Village life like in the Manga would have been Fun.

About Translation Group:

Both Groups have a good english, about the correct translation I can not say much, because I dun understand jap.

But I have/ had a bit of a problem, when the translation gone to the races, tried to google some, so I could image what they would look at least somehow, 'cause they are not really (well?) descriped.

Skills and Spell Casting is good translated sounds really nice ~su.

Update rate is good but not as frequent as I would like it to be (as in 99% of all novels xD ya hear, I heard translators have real live too)

It has potential to go somewhere. It doesn't focus on too much on the reincarnation which is a nice change and he isn't really op either, just moderately powerful enough to make the story click. It's also like a kingdom building except it doesn't go into intensive description. All in all it's a well-rounded enjoyable novel.

Interesting. It's a story more realistically than normal transmigration and reincarnation stories. As far as I read, there is a lot of strategical mind plots and quite a few brawls. There is romance with a good wine and funny twists as well.

I think this novel is really good! The action is nice, the dialogues are interesting and varied and the plot is well developed so far! A shame it isn't being translated anymore, and that the links for chapters 43-74 don't work...

I higly suggest to read at least the first few chapters. It's been a blast so far!

I had to drop this in 30+ chapters. It becomes s*upid just like any other japanese novels in this site. The depth of the story that I sought after is now gone and gone to oblivion. The only thing that keeps me reading this despite not having interesting events, characters, plot, dialogue etc. Is that the story has depth and coherent. If you read goblin kingdom then it is worst than that.

Despite a promising start, this story is actually pretty boring. Everything is very simplistic and shallow, and success just kind of falls into the MC's lap without any real effort.

If you're expecting political intrigue, negotiations, or faction play surrounding the town the MC is occupying, don't. There's none of that here. As of Chapter 34, there are four named human characters in the town, two of whom only appearing once. There is nothing to this town.

As for the MC, the reincarnated part of the title is basically just a title.... more>> Except for a scene or two where he recognizes some japanese-like food, it adds nothing to the story. There's one occasion where he tries to use modern knowledge, but it turns out to be something that already exists. And that's basically the MC's only defining character trait, other than being kinda smart.

The strategy at play in the battles here are also pretty shallow and not well-thought-out. The first seems fine, but later developments make it seem like it should have been impossible. Also, the magic in this world is inconsistent and useless.

For example, the MC's teacher is described as someone who could "disintegrate the viceroy's castle with a fingertip, " but when they assault a city they sort of forget she can do that and go with a frontal assault instead. And then she passes out after casting a single lightning bolt.

This is actually the first time I'm writing a review, just due to my dissapointment with this novel. I was turned off in the first few chapters but perservered till chapter 50 out of my hopes of finding a good kingdom building novel.

1) I don't know if it's the author or the translator, but the writing is mediocre at best. "He did this, then she responde d by doing this" is the type of writing you're going to see in this story. Additionally, there are some grammatical mistakes scattered throughout... more>> the novel.

2) The strategy/kingdom building is terrible. When I saw so many good reviews for this novel, I thought that I would find another masterpiece, such as Holy Roman Empire of Napolean in 1812. However, the kingdom building is illogical, the author has probbably never opened an economics textbook in his life.

3) The intelligence of a character is capped at the author's intelligence. In order to make the MC seem smart, all other characters are dumbed down to an idiotic level. I'm not expecting Reverend Insanity level schemes, just basic common sense.

All in all - if you're looking for a serious and logical kingdom building novel/development, this is not for you. I'm aware I couldn't give specific examples for my review, so you'll just have to read the first couple chapters to see if it's for you. <<less

This was decent and seemed like it might have an interesting political story but sadly the translations have stopped. The story has some action but it is mostly about the MC leading others and governing a town.
