It was a life without regret. My parents were in good health, and I wasn’t home enough for me to combine my studies and part-time jobs.

I like fantasy, martial arts, games, fiction movies, cartoons… I’m a normal high school student who likes these things.

That was certainly true until ten years ago.

This is not the earth.

A fantasy world dominated by powerful people. Savage utopia. It is a world where you can take anything with you if you have physical strength.

I like this, it's a refreshing story, MC has a very decisive personality, and this novel is kinda satire toward other novel whose protagonist have lame personality, a pushover who were hero wannabes, who acts like a strong one but actually a wimp with trivial skills, lol.

If you gonna read this, I advice to not treat this novel too seriously, I prefer to treat this novel as comedy so I'm able to be easy going with the story..

I'm flagging this for spoilers because I plan to discuss the main plot mechanic of the story; once you've seen it happen twice it's not really a spoiler to expect it to happen a third time. For those who wish to learn what I mean:

Spoiler

The MC fails his assessment and retries. And then he does it again. And again. Many times.

[collapse]

For the main review:

Spoiler

Starts good, and is mediocre by where I'm at. The MC is the biggest problem. Seeing a no-BS main character dealing with BS in a blunt way was fun. Then he suddenly became a psychopath. He went from "disillusioned" to "willing to kill for no reason". Even people who have been established as "permanently killed if slain", opposed to the people he'll see again in another loop.

Granted, all of this is passed off in a joking humorous way, and it is amusing at times. But it's getting pretty grating, especially since it lacks any contrast. The MC would be a lot more likable if he had continued with his earlier attitude, wherein he got along with some of the villains and even got in a relationship with a female elf. But none of that attitude resurfaces; he has not made a single positive ally in probably 40 chapters now. When he shows no mercy towards enemies or innocent bystanders and never puts anyone in any category but those, it kinda just gets boring.

This is exacerbated by the fact that there aren't many recurring characters. He'll make an ally with a character one day, kill an enemy the other, and then in the next loop he'll just ignore them and go off to do other things. This especially felt bad when he was still not a complete psycho and would do things like work with allies; they basically disappeared from the story completely by the next loop, with the MC not even sparing them a thought.

[collapse]

I will say the story is funny. It's just... grating in every aspect other than the humor. <<less

. The idea is fine but the execution is lacking severely. The author doesn't know how to write dialogue so all the "support" characters are killed on sight almost. We get no description of the appearance of most things. I have no clue what the main character looks like. Plot points are not setup, there is no mystery since the author doesn't leave breadcrumbs so the reader could figure it out, instead the story moves onto another scene or the MC disregards it.

Chapter lengths are good but unnecessary "cliff" hangers are annoying. (Most of them is easy to predict)

Big spoilers for the current arc and why I think the quality dropped:

Spoiler

We slowly see the MC lose his mind in his 2nd and 3rd play-through and the affect of his 1st play-through on his psyche. After that it's almost ignored and we are just supposed to accept that the MC is how he thinks now. Also for someone who was wishing to go home so much, he spends an awful lot of time killing humans in the Festival Arc. You would think he would try and collect info on what the his classmate did to finish his 1st play-through in half the time as him. Also he never thinks about his decisions. There could have been an interesting conflict with the MC seeing all the non-players as disposable but players as humans, and a reluctance to kill, even for at least one chapter.

His transformation to Demon King feels sudden. Characters just pop-up without any notice, so the story is always moving forward without any time to reflect on what he went through or what he needed to achieve to finally return. Also it is quite confusing as to who is allied with who and who is attacking who. The First Hero is going after any potential Demon Kings but he is also going after Earth? Or is that a different group? Do they have ships in orbit or are they "spawning" in atmosphere? Why is Victoria so attracted to MC? Surely she could figure it out that he is the one behind SOME of the destruction of his underwater city.

[collapse]

It's a story, which if you think too much about, or get invested in, will disappoint you. <<less

Great novel, basically a parody on the usual Summoned Hero vs Demon King trope. So by nature one should've read at least a couple of the usual generic JP isekai novels.

Also, the title was quite deceptive, which was why I didn't bother to read it for the longest time. I thought it would be yet-another-tr*sh-class-that's-"surprisingly"-the-most-Overpowered-class-there-is novel. But nope, FFF-class refers to the MC's character, i.e. his awful personality.

The most similar novel I've read that I can think of would be "Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi ~ Sokushi Mahou to Skill... more>> Copy no Choetsu Heal", except that unlike in the latter this MC isn't interested in taking revenge on his "companions" and he would rather not even have to see them as he's trying to get back to Earth ASAP. That means there's no brainwashing of enemies to turn them into personal f*ck toys and such.

There's a tiny bit of s*x, it's not that the MC is impotent or anything, but the MC considers women as "hot water bottles"—merely things with hour-shaped figures to warm the bed...

Anyway, the novel is well worth the read, though unfortunately not only is the translation/release rate quite slow, but from chapter 85 and on the translation is MTL. Honestly as much as I liked the novel I'm considering (temporarily) dropping the novel (only 3 more chapters to read left atm anyway) since going from top notch translation to poorly edited MTL is basically heaven to hell... <<less

Honestly I get the desire to read a power-trip, making people who are insignificant in real life "live" through the MC. However, with how utterly repulsive and disgusting the MC here is I can't get into it at all. He does stuff such as killing off perfectly nice people over petty grudges, believing in his own superiority due to his power, yet maintaining the mindset of perhaps the most selfish and revolting toddler on earth.

Before reading this, if you have a strong conscience (or any at all), I'd suggest avoiding... more>> this one. I'll just put together some of the stuff he does. (Spoilers)

Spoiler

He forces a perfectly kind princess into a marriage with a guy. This princess has done nothing to him, at all, so he can't even use the "ooh it's just revenge" card he loves to pull when he ruins someone's life for petty reasons.

The thing is this isn't even considering the circumstances. The person the MC forces her to marry has killed her mother, a woman caught up in a cult, in front of her sons, who were crying out for her, and their father (The King - who later withdrew due to heartbreak). Immediately after he kills both of her princes; essentially ruining a whole family based on crimes they May In Future commit as his justification, in the most abhorrent way possible.

The MC then uses threats to force the marriage through to "make his piece of human waste subordinate happy", killing and restricting the person the princess loves, and essentially using her as property.

He kills the dude training him over "grudges" in his past life, that rooted off from the fact he's a horrible person; and the other guy's dislike to angry incels. The guy did nothing wrong except have a Human reaction to our foul MC.

[collapse]

The world-building, writing, and power-trip are all pretty good, but the MC is so noxious that I can't continue reading.

"Angry Incel's PowerTrip" is probably more accurate as a title.

But sure, you could just put being an insidious piece of work off as "edgy edgelord". I just hope that you don't identify with the character.

I just can't get pleasure from the misery, which is all this novel consists of (and boredom).

Mr Ethics is a pretty funny addition though, hence the 1 star review is 1 star and not a 0. <<less

You ever wonder what would happen if a real monster of a person became the summoned hero?

I'm not talking about your standard Xianxia protagonist, but someone who genuinely doesn't understand or care about people.

That's this story.

... more>> Unfortunately for him, he has to do good deeds in order to 'pass' the isekai scenario, so off he goes trying to be a good person. Comedy results, of course.

The princess is rebelling against her brother? Obviously kill the princess, she's disrupting the nation!

Complex moral dilemma about a pacifist monster? What would I care, it's good exp!

The natives are monopolizing the lake and starving the cities? No negotiation necessary, let's go to war!

I normally don't like 'edgy' protagonists, but this one is something special. The way the author writes his character is delightfully fresh, a deconstruction of everything an Isekai hero is, and every chapter I've read so far just makes me want to read the next. <<less

Ummm you would have to have some pretty heavy tastes to enjoy this novel. At first you think that the MC is kind of a duche but he has his reasons for being this way. Around chapter 9 you start to realize that the protagonist is completely evil with no redeeming qualities.

There’s a reason why almost all novels don’t have completely evil protagonists. At worst you would have a main character morally ambibigous or an antihero. This is so you can relate to the protagonist, and it’s really hard to... more>> relate to someone this twisted in the head...

The MC keeps mentioning how wonderful and civilized the modern earth is and how me wants to go back. But based on his actions he’ll probably be a serial killer if he ever makes it back.

No idea why the rating is so high for this novel. Can’t really stomach it anymore. <<less

Basically Summoned Slaughterer but with a better sense of humor, unfortunately, the MC cannot do as he pleases because he is forced to follow a certain rule or he will be stuck in an endless loop and unable to go home so it doesn't feel as satisfying but I hope there will be more carnage in the future

The interesting thing about this novel is the MC, he is not as insane as Hifumi but still not a sane person either, he definitely has a fun personality, at least better than... more>> the majority of JP MC where they always getting pushed around without any personality or will of their own

Anyway, try to read it and have fun, don't take things too seriously and you might have an enjoyable time <<less

The hero is a highly "efficient" individual, to say things nicely. An anti-hero? Try sociopath instead.

He's willing to do pretty much anything outside the box to clear his objective as efficient as possible, including sacrificing others around him. He even deliberately killed all his companions before they reach the demon king, just because he was annoyed with them all. And starting from the reset (which is the start of the story) he doesn't seem to see anyone in Fantasia as real human beings anymore; they're just npcs or exp points... more>> to him.

For you weak-hearted individuals (including myself) that doesn't enjoy a hero that sacrifice others for his own gain, be warned. This is a power-trip that will make you loathe the MC as you continue to read each chapter. For you strong-willed chads, however, this might be a source of amus**ent on the MC being a smartass, seeing opportunity / solution that no "normal" person could see nor take, only to be screwed royally by the system in the end. <<less

This is another korean novel that has the same core as omniscient reader. It's not your usual zero to hero thing, the character is simply OP and there is no clear power progression. Instead of action, this novel focuses more on the story itself and it is about an unconventional "hero" who went against the system and got trapped in it for being rebellious.

Focusing on the story is definitely a viable way to write a novel but when combined with the traits of a webnovel which usually lack characterisation and... more>> short chapters, it kinda made the novel unable to reach the height of story-telling.

For a novel that focuses on story fffCTH's premise is too simple with not much of a twist and turns, although it's still quite entertaining seeing the "next iteration" changed due to the mc's actions there is a sense of repetitiveness due to this repeated replays.

Fortunately it got more entertaining past the halfway point which made this novel earned an okay rating from me.

It's a light read with short time investment, I give this novel a 3 stars. <<less

By far, the most entertaining Korean novel I've ever read.

The story is unique, funny to the bone (Pun intended*), filled with f*cking insane action, and blessed with diabetes-inducing romance.

The MC is very cunning, sometimes insane, and likeable (Depends**). He's not a ret*rded "I am a hero of justice, supported by the power of love and friendship" kind of a guy. But rather an "I will beat the sh*t out of everyone who gets in my way, even though I am a hero of justice" kind of a guy.

The characters have... more>> so much depth, growth, and development, that I can't even compare them to any other Korean novel characters. And the fact that this novel doesn't stick to the usual bullsh*t isekai/fantasy cliches, but rather mock, insult, and even criticize them, is what gives it even more uniqueness.

The world-building is insane. Trust me, even though it seems shallow in the earlier chapters, it will later develop into a universal level of intricacy. Ignore the bullsh*t review of that guy who only read until chapter 18, it's not a shallow story at all.

Moreover, it doesn't hold back on romance to keep the MC an incel virg*n, it actually makes the readers root for the MC to have more cute children. This is because the romance is so good that it doesn't make readers feel like it's a hentai, but rather an entertaing, sometimes h**ny, and sweet story. It also doesn't hold back on the action, like holy shit. One of the scenes in this story is literally a f*cking satellite weapon of mass destruction, capable of frying an entire continent, firing a laser towards a single person trying to sexually harass a vampire***.

There are some downsides to this novel though. There are some bulks of chapters where the translation just utterly sucks. Not to mention, because it's all in English, the character dialogues become even more vague as always, thus leading to moments when you don't even know who's talking unless you really concentrate on it. This happens quite often in this novel, the good translated chapters not to be excluded.

Lastly, there are some actual massive plotholes, considering this story dabbles a lot in regressions, time-travel, parallel dimensions, and such. But even when you ignore those obviously plothole-ridden aspects of the story, there are still so many other stuff in the story that the author forgot to explain, skipped explaining, and even outright changing them in the later chapters. This is literally the most infuriating part of this story, which speaks a lot considering this is, in my humblest opinion, the best Korean novel I've ever read.

To summarize:

Translation: 4/5 (Would be 3/5 if we include chapters with bad translation)

Story: 10/5 (The best)

Plot: 3/5 (This is me being generous, considering the bullsh*t plothole-inducing shenanigans the author pulled)

Romance: SUGAR VOMIT/INFINITY (Rating category and score not to be taken seriously, but who cares)

P.s. I really really hope that this novel gets a sequel continuing it right after the ending. The story didn't even end on a high note, it actually ended with still many things left to be explored.

Although he might seem like an actual horrible human being in the very first hundred chapters or so, he's not actually that bad. I was actually put off by the name of FFF-Class tr*shero since I (wrongly) assumed it would be a hero gaining powerups and using it to build a nearly infinite harem of the people he had subdued with his power.

The initial concept is fantastic with the MC painstakingly accomplishing his mission to the letter while spectacularly failing in the unwritten aims no one told him about. He then discovers he gets a F grade and is forced to regress and repeat his mission.

The start of the novel is quite good... more>> and the first few regressions are entertaining. The only reason it doesn't get 5/5 is that I found the regressions got a bit repetitive as MC undergoes multiple regressions and then you also follow other characters undergoing the same mission that in each case more or less follows the same plotline. The epilogue/extra chapters at the end were nice but I think the middle should have been trimmed a bit <<less

I really liked this plot until my interest died after a long journey.

It begins with a simple idea: Isekai protagonist who SAYS and THINKS he values only power and efficiency, while lying to himself and everyone else of the purpose of his actions most of the time.

The story reminds us (sometimes a lot) why this "hero" is almost always that just in his own mind. We follow through his very questionable travels to find where his actions, motivations and way of being will take him, while seeing him both fixing,... more>> helping and usually making a mess of this new world.

It's fun, each step forward is 2 backwards to his ends. We see his frustration at how the ways he uses wrong him and then how it changes his ways (usually for the worst)

Another point are the other characters, each is a person which have good and bad points too. They answer accordingly to how they're or feel to the MC.

But in the second part the story gets repetitive, unjustified and even showing us how this edgelord gets away with mantaining his mostly evil path. The second part gives him a Lot of good luck
Spoiler

with even more power-ups than the first one, a good push forward, better relationships automatically

and even rewards him greatly which doesn't feel deserved after his doings.

Every new "problem" gets resolved more and more fast than the other to the point where it killed the hype after the battle or quest he just finished.

Over all, it was fun but flawed. It's a good read even when toning down our own expectations of struggle or punishment-craving towards MC we might have at the second part of this reading. <<less

So far so good

I read other comments here and disagree with their statements

I think the most important thing here is embrace the absurdity

... more>> I don't think the MC should have more deep ideology or deeper character. The whole novel is absurd and comedic

I read it for laughs and mass mu*der and cruelty I don't get with other Antihero and Evil MCs.

I generally think that this MC is evil and actually can be a great example for the evil protagonist.

I'm getting here something other novels can't offer.

The violence. The selfishness. The action.

Also I always laugh when I'm reading this. Here's no deeper story that will make you cry and I'm here for it.

It's rich, it's expressive, full of action, full of stuff that's happening and really enjoyable if you let go of the expectations <<less

Ive read all the chapters with machine translation, it was quite difficult to understand some parts but it was quite enjoyable, I took some months reading it and I would like to read everything again. I really liked the novel and it is really good. Calling the side characters like Villager A or Saint A was good imo because I also forget the name of the hundreds of novels and mangas out there. I'd like to point other stuff that I liked but I would spoiler and ruin your experience.

HanSoo won't return to Earth any soon and yes, those hints of absorbing divinity and blessings by the universe will really reach the ascension to godhood like those wuxias

Sure, there is problem with the MC and how his act is, making the story rather unlikeble. But thats just the way he is. Making the plot interesting.

But the problem for me is when the cup of the world become wider, the story just become more wild & outrageous. To the point I become too lazy even for the "unique" plot.

One of the best satirical novels out there.

The traslation has suffered a decline in quality lately (around ch 80-100). It was great before, but ch:50-100 could use another editor. Some of the monologues have turned into incomprehensible rubbish lately.

I am worried about the novel's rating falling due to poor translation.

The MC is rather smart, he's one of the most logical MCs out there. Even better than Yu Ilhan from everyone else is a returnee.

He's not s*upid enough to fall prey to deceptive tactics like acting cute or pitiful, and he's not the kind to rush to judge some situation just from appearances. And he's not uncaring or cold hearted because he obviously loves his parents and wants to return home rather than stay in some fantasy world that he got kidnapped to.

Rather than curing the symptoms, he's the kind to treat the root cause which the system that grades the heroes fail to appreciate or understand. He could've done it with less bloodshed, but the way of the 'template' hero is far more s*upid, less practical and does more harm when you consider the big pictute.

This is one underrated novel meant for hot blooded young men, to reflect upon their lives and do a self inspection while having a good laugh. 😂 <<less
