This novel is by the same author as Tale of lax Demon, which is one of the highest rated long novel in this site. So I will be using that as a comparison since it is quite popular. (Seriously read it if you haven’t)

If you read that series you will get the same feeling for the MC in this story compared to Yuru. The MC however is not as demonic as Yuru is but still does the job when needed to. The fluff is not as much compared to... more>> that series as well.

What this series edge out on is the non-repetitiveness of it. Some have complained that Lax Demon is too repetitive especially arc 1. The world building, cuteness and writing is a tad lower than Lax Demon, which to say is not bad as that series is beyond excellence.

You have seen me compared it to the other series a lot. Let me clarify, this is a very good novel. There is very little you can critique it. It is great in every aspect.

I can’t give it a 5 stars tho. For me, 5 stars is something that shine out in a pile of gems, that is special even compared to good works. This is a great work which can get out shone. Which in my category gets a 4.

Pacing is too quick. Too many countries and characters with little time to know them. Makes me feel nothing each time the character wins a battle. The plot and setting are interesting but the speed of the progression hinders the story a lot.

Absolutely loved it. What she did was right. There is nothing morally bankrupt about this. She was fighting the humans who will stop at nothing to protect their lifestyle.

Human beings at large are that close minded. You can't reason with them. We havent solved social issues because humans don't want to lose their privileges. Enabled aid them because it sids them immensely and destroying it will many then loose resources. It's simplistic but very accurate behaviour of humanity.

It didn't even say all human are evil and all beastkun are good. When human went down, other species triedc to take their crown and do the same things including beastkun who suffered under the humans.

Still need to keep reading, but I've had a good time reading so far.
If you're someone with a more cynical perception of humanity, such as myself, I think this story is a breath of fresh air in that it is a piece of media unafraid to depict humanity at its ugliest and write a story on that basis. As a result, if you have a more benevolent view of humanity, I think this story may be disturbing and ultimately unenjoyable unless you are exceptionally open-minded.

With this in mind, the world-building in terms of defining the laws of the worlds is a bit convoluted and shallow, but the way that these concepts explain humanity's behavior in the story is pretty interesting and, in my opinion, solid enough.

Others have criticized the lack of companions or other characters in the story, but that seems like an unreasonable expectation given that the MC is someone who is,

1. The magic system of the world of yggdrasia is simple and perfect. Nothing for me to add as an explanation because it will be considered a spoiler.

The mechanics are a little weird, but every character's action makes sense. That is so rare. The most important things in any story are the beginning, middle, and end, and this is one of the rare few stories that gets them all right.

We have a compelling hook, and after we start to settle, mr two heads gives us another hook. The middle of the story is well paced and the goal she is given makes sense.

Great premises, interesting start, got pretty good, lots of potential, could have been a great slow burn adventure story, but instead some capital P plot gets shoehorned in repeatedly in the most hamfisted way possible, and they eventually remove every strong part of the story to add more Plot and ruin it. I am not native speaker so bear with it.

For me it was almost perfect ride. I consumed whole novel in one big bite.

I was able to get perfect soundtrack for this book and in the final battle I was reading nonstop with "Dark colossus" from Nier in my ears.

And I was able to get close to euphoria state. It was like an orgasm.

The novel has really good tempo, turning poins and characters are overall quite likable.

For me it is 9.2/ 10

Overall this novel is extremely well written. There is a bit of a lul in the pacing from chapter say 50 to 80 (wild estimate here and I'm not willing to go back and look at which chapters specifically) but I really enjoy that kind of world exploring type of novel so it didn't bother me as much as it bothered some other reviewers. I really appreciate how the author had a concept, executed the story and didnt drag it on for 300 chapters like so many other novels.

It's needed for the sake of the story but it just dosn't seem realistic to me, even in this fantasy setting.

I really enjoyed this story, especially the first half where there is a clear time pressure.

the seccond half initially does not have this "problem" so it starts off feeling longwinded, but that is fixed thanks to a certain scientist.

overall assesment: its good story

Its a short feel good popcorn story.

As with most like that, the locations are not well developed with all the focus on the characters. Overall a good ride and you can fully understand the main character, if you understand the principles of consequence.

4.9 stars because perfection does not exist, but being close does.

This novel is extremely good.

I would like to leave it like that, but basically, it is an interesting story with interesting characters, and the 3rd web novel I ever finished, it makes me think of Hakai me no Yuuri because of part of the ambience sometimes, but also Kumo desu ga. Nani ka?

This novel is definitely deserves a high rating and if I have to point out something I'm not satisfied with it's probably because I felt it's just too short and want more chapters. Though I said that I'm overall satisfied reading it. The story is just good. Though the MC is OP it somehow doesn't feel edgy and just feels right. The characters are also good they are not really that fleshed out but it's okay since the story is told from the MC's perspective. Furthermore this novel is just packed with action and doesn't give you any chance to be bored halfway. The start was very wonderful. The translations was superb. I liked the personality of our MC. In my point of view this story is better that the Story of a Careless Demon.

Although unfortunately the end of the plot was moving towards the path of cringy. I still give it four stars for the overall story.

I'm not quite sure what to say about this... it's not the type of novel I usually read. Yet, I undoubtedly enjoyed it.

It has a quite interesting setting, as well as plot and characters. A few things came as a surprise, and I like that I didn't see those coming at all. It's amusing at times, and exciting at others.

Our MC, an 11 year old girl, is smart and strong-willed. She's wise beyond her years, in a believable way. She has an interesting personality, and I like her :D

Just finished the 6 extra chapters today after having completed the novel some time ago.

It was a blast all the way through.

I think the first arc and last arc were my favorites because it was always so uncertain what exactly will happen, especially at the first hunting event, the end of it was way too unexpected for me.

And all the other arcs of course were great too :)

I recently discovered this novel by chance. Same author as lazy devil and the translator and editors were amazing. Well written and translated. Had really bo trouble reading it and it's one of those books that describes scene vividly.

Now onto the story, it's an isekai with demon lords and heroes, and the ever so abundant game skill system mashed with an vrmmo environment. But the tropes are subverted and have twists to them that make these factor all the more appealing.

Although, the story focuses on the element of skills and... more>> statuses, it doesnt go to the level of death March or slime tensei insane. So it doesnt get too annoying with how skills work or the complex fusions or ironically the applications to normal devices that you would see in a laid back isekai. Its t self explanatory and most of the time the action and skills are vividly explained enough for you to imagine the scenes and not be underwhelming or overwhelmed by all the detail.

Now, the story is pretty short and straightforward with the plot. Lot of character development does happen and there are alot of villains simply because they are villains and it only elaborates on a few of them showing some of their personalities and life choice. So you're gonna get like 10 to 20 or so young masters as fodder but they get offed the same chapter but the minor and major villains will have alittle more meat than that and span across the 100 chapters.

The story focuses on urgency due to sh*t going down constantly. There some laid back scenes and plenty of humor but it's gets intense fast and hard for awhile. Then cool off for like 10 chaps then jumps back into the roller coasters.

The MC and alot of side characters are pretty smart and do learn/adapt. So not alot of scenes where this is clearly a trap but the MC doesnt notice it. And some stuff get explained why.

Anyway to finish it up, I hate vrmmo and isekais with game elements. Mostly due to focusing too much on the game elements/skills/status for me to actually care for the characters because all the character become 1 dimensional after their 2 dimensional story arc.

This story however was a welcomed surprise. Even with the genres involved. I enjoyed the story and how well it was crafted. I suggest giving it a read. <<less

Wow, what a great novel. Twists and turns throughout, not too long, and an MC that is actually mentally competent. Good backstory, and world building is also fleshed out. Really, I loved it
