For me the story is very nice, I like both the Main Character especially the ML, he is funny and interesting with a lot of narcissist joke and interesting emoticon. The whole story is reeking of REALITY. There's not much fancy circumstances but I love how real there story is.

It is a story if two people with very different personalities one is optimistic and the other is hating the world. Two people with "same circumstances but with different reaction, same feelings but with different actions".

This is the type of novel that allows your emotions to surge, to pine for someone, to wish you're part of the crew so you could cry, laugh and witness everything. However, you are on the outside looking in (or above looking below) so you are able to hear the thoughts, see the pain and struggles of each characters.

The FL is such a great personality! I admire the author for bringing her out and letting us see, feel, love and celebrate with her. Having read the prequel 23:11, it allowed... more>> me a better hold of the events leading to the struggles and the emotions of both characters. I could only applaud because the author gave us such good closure for both characters. I truly enjoyed the novel and can't help recommend it (and the prequel).

Give this a chance and enjoy the colorful and beautiful story. <<less

Note: this is a sequel from 23:11 novel and pretty much related to it. So you better read the prequel first if you didn't read it yet.

In the beginning of this story, we learn that MC and ML didn't talk to each other for a few months after MC blocked him permanently. Not only that, she even change her phone and also her apartment just to avoid meeting ML again. Well, it didn't work because they meet again.

If in the first novel ML annoyed me greatly, in the second novel... more>> it's MC that annoy me.

Spoiler

I feel that MC was cuter in the first novel. At least she could open her heart a bit for ML although only in messenger. But that's different in the sencond novel. She really cuts ML from her life and keeps pushing him away even after he showed much sincerity towards her.

I know that she's just afraid that she'll end up like her mother who endured bitterness thorough her marriage with MC's father. But MC already learned in the past that she also would be heartbroken from not trying to chase her love. So why does she still avoid ML when she has a high chance to have her happy ending with him?

[collapse]

Well, at least in the end, the author makes MC chase ML too. It proves that not only ML tries so hard for MC but MC is also the same.

It's a happy ending of course but there is one other thing that makes me confuse:

Spoiler

MC's father's change is a little out of nowhere to me. One moment, he still yelled and disdained MC. But not a long time later he tries to make up with MC and even sends her a gift. After all those years, doesn't he change too fast?

It's so good.
Characterization: 5/5 ⭐️
Plot: 5/5 ⭐️
Grammar: 4/5 ⭐️
Cried, laughed, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although this is a sequel, you can read it as a stand alone. I really love the realistic and deep characterization, especially the fl. She's such a three dimensional character, haven't seen those in so long on NU. There isn't an evil antagonist trying to tear the two lover apart; it's mostly their own insecurities and faults (mostly the fl) that stop them from being together. It's such a great novel, highly... more>> recommend reading it! <<less
