It was a fun read early on but I got rather bored of it. The novel seems to be an attempt to emulate Japanese isekai novels while pushing the moral boundaries over the limit for modern societies. The great thing about the novel is that the MC has some form of character development although he remains weak (and probably will remain so). Also, I think MC kinda fit the shoes when you realistically imagine a not-so-bright individual getting isekai-ed. Reread again, but MC still utterly garbage. A soldier in life before? Where did his mentality go? Left behind in the former world?

One enjoyable thing is his moms' personalities, both are really son-con in their own extreme way.

There is actually a site in chinese (books. Sfacg. Com) which has a lot of novel which is all CN WN, the cover might make you think it's Japanese (have to admitt it JP WN and LN's art is soooooooooooo much better). Thank my mother for giving birth to me as a Chinese and is able to read both English+Chinese novels :) (working on Japanese now)

Anyway for those who are here for the s*x scenes don't get your hopes up, they probably won't get too deep into the... more>> scene and won't get too descriptive (Judging from the experience I've have from reading other WN in the original source.) The original source have a rules for the book they post (has to be "healthy") so I would say the most it would get would be maybe R-15 since the readers would mainly be teenagers. <<less

If you are here for the R18, I can tell you there's not much.

What we have are particular epic scenes

And scenes that make you experience cutting onions.

If you read now, you will never put it down.

This novel is just another reincarnation harem fantasy story but it is fun and it's enough so far.

With a better MC (an MC with a adult behavior with average IQ) this story could be a lot better.

Of course it's a comedy but the author doesn't have a good knowledge of medieval politics.

The empress kills everybody who can hurt/badmouth/touch her son, but Nier can insult the MC without problem. To insult a crown prince is a crime of lese-majesty and in medieval China/Europe, the punishment is the death...
