  • The story is not like other transmigration as villain story. She has a good head on her shoulders
  • The original Moyu was extremely unlucky. Rouhan the FL is a disgusting character. She stole original Moyu's everything.
  • MC is very sweet & she doesnot go out of her way to get revenge for original Moyu. She is not pushover either & she will retaliate if push her too far.I like her attitude. She is one of the sweetest MCs. Her attitude reminds me of Rebirth on the doors of civil bureu's MC in some way.
  • MC's son luo luo is a total sweetheart.?
  • I love Peichen as Moyu's hubby. He is not typical overbearing character.I love their chemistry
  • The translater is doing very good job. Though I read the mtl version I would love read the transletor's version as mtl verion is full of grammatical errors and meaning is not quite clear.

I've read many transmigration and otome novels and I have to say this novel is definitely one of the better ones out there. I can list many reasons as to why, but I'll just mention two reasons... and that is the MC's son, Luo Luo! I mean, he is just so darn cute and I love novels with children that have a frequent appearance. The second reason is the MC is intelligent, lovely, collected and suave... yes, I said suave. :)

A very light-hearted and well written story about the transmigrated girl, her fulfilling the wishes of the original host, finding love etc. The MC-ML-baobei interactions are cute. Though the child is a bit too smart for a 2yr old (a common fallacy for CNovels, I guess).

It's a bit refreshing that the villains are not plain s*upid to the point you want to step on them. They had their faults, they made mistakes and acknowledged them, instead of incessantly dragging things out just for the sake of giving more face-slapping opportunities... more>> to the MC.

The fans are as usual brainless, and weibo wars are s*upid (but at times funny) to read. Cute, satisfying ending!

Spoiler

Being able to contact previous family always feel nice! Wished to have more MC- prev life bro interactions though...

Started reading the translation this morning and finished off with MTL this afternoon (MTL quit doable.. Though not that easy especially MC name ?)

So so so sweet!! I love how face slapping happened so immediately!!!

Ah and how MC having all her first time with ML on set (film wise - ML always used double during steamy moment though this rule did not apply to MC ?..). After all, although MC body already had her first time with ML but it was not with MC soul (if that make... more>> any sense)

I totally love the ending... Especially those special 10 minutes she have each month!!!

MC is totally ? otaku ?

Trying to find author's other books but none so far ? <<less

A really fluffy feel-good novel. I find myself adoring MC and ML's interactions with Luo Luo rather than anticipating any developments in romance, though it's there anyway :D.

Just wish chapters weren't split into three parts in translation. I feel like I'm left hanging every time I finish a translated chapter ahaha. I can't stop clicking on every update though.

I resorted to MTL because I couldn't wait any longer. The karma/retribution was okay, though I wish the CEO suffered more than that. I know it's slightly vindictive, but he's actually the... more>> one who brought original host the most pain. FFS, he was her childhood friend. They knew each other for years, but he managed to turn his back on her even though they were really close.
Spoiler

She loved him enough to save him from a fire at risk of her own life.

[collapse]
His betrayal hurt the most. Despite all the details revealed, I still don't think he deserved just that much.

The other antagonists are pretty bland. Qiao Ruohuan was just a shallow, entitled liar. The other one of note was just a jealous, spiteful bastard. The adoptive family iirc wasn't frequently mentioned.

This is just full of clichés, but clichés are sometimes nice too when you just want something to make you happy. The plot could have been more interesting and there could certainly have been more conflict. The character also slightly comes off as a Mary Sue with her unbelievable koi physique. I'm only here for Luo Luo though and to a lesser degree the romance so I don't really care.

I wish the story wasn't so short. Despite my gripes with the plot and stuff, this novel did make me smile. I didn't get enough closure from the last chapter. Why does it have only 74 chapters? I wish it had a 100.

It was a fun, relaxing ride. This novel is the first time I used two screens with two different translators side by side so it was quite interesting. My eyes and head sort of hurt from all the attention switching.

Rating 4/5 would recommend giving this a try. <<less

I decided to move over to the raws after a long time of procrastinating (which was already a third through the translations.) Just like what the other reviews mentioned, this novel is a really worthwhile book to read. It's easy to the reader and although the plot isn't too developed or detailed- the characters and little hidden plot twists? Would lure you into the story and want you to continue reading on. I also agree that it was easy to machine translate this book too! The translations are excellent as... more>> well so I will continue to keep up and read the translations even though I've read the entire thing already.

Just note here:

  1. Don't mind the title and the summary. It may be a little misleading a first but there are several reasons to it once you read through and unlock the hidden plots.
  2. Beware of the ending. It may vary for the different individuals but I found the ending to be a little unsatisfactory. The ending is a HE one but it's also an open end which I get stumped over such ends. However, don't let my review get to you and try reading first!
Overall. This is a sweet and light novel. It only has 74 chapters in total (translation is broken up to parts) so it's a quick read too. A definite recommend! <<less

Pretty good novel... kinda cliche, but it's short and sweet. The translator of this is exceptional, pushing it above average for me. It's very professional, few grammar mistake is any, and it's easy to understand for someone who doesn't read an obscene number of Chinese->English novels (by this, I mean lingo which is not commonly known).

So far I'm in love with this story and I'm really excited to see where it will end.

The MC is strong, calm, and rational. She also does not want to associate with ML of the novel she is now living in.

My, I really do like it when MC recognizes the a**holes.

I really love this novel but the website it's posted on... not so much.

At first it wasn't so bad but now it freezes every 5 seconds and there are so many ads!! My computer is a Surface pro that's pretty new so I doubt that my computer is in fault. I really wish to continue reading but this website is actually ridiculous and I'm not sure if I can even access the next chapters.

However, the novel itself is adorable and fluffy! The translations are really good too.

This is a sweet and pretty light novel even though there are certain revenge elements in there. The thing to look forward to the most is the mother and little bun interactions, they both have a complex for eachother and it is the sweetest thing. The only thing I wish they'd focus more on would be the acting, and less on netizen comments. Although the ML is kind of dominant, he really isn't forceful and cares for the mc's wishes which is nice. It's a good read even with mtl!... more>> I recommend it. The fluffy parts are the best~ <<less

First of all, I don't give ratings less than 3...

Don't judge... No matter, effort was still exerted...

I was just trying out a new genre (Entertainment Industry) and stumbled on this one (first thing that popped in my screen, sorry) so I just read on...

... more>> I want to take a break from school so just decided to read stuff, and I managed to finish it...

The story seems light but everyone (characters) has their own drama...

An eighteen year old girl, just finished her college (?) examinations and suddenly transmigrated into a body of a mother... She was able to accept the fact and went head on to the Entertainment Industry...

Just giving a full rating for author's efforts... (Read MTL by the way)

....

*sigh* The forum is really active...

Just earlier, the number of votes was just one...

After finishing the story (few mins ago), the votes went up to twenty plus... <<less

This novel is gold solely for the fact that the tr*sh childhood friend had the FL shoved in his face over and over again after trying to ruin her image within the first 30 chapters.

Spoiler

His company was invested in the movie she was working on and he decided to be the one to choose the pictures that were put up as promotional (not normally his role but he's being vindictive). He chose the worst one out of the bunch but someone on set also uploaded a full video of the promotional shoot so it made it clear that his company put up the worst shot. After that, the FL was trending online, her scene showed up in ads, and the background music was played repeatedly. Pretty hilariously done.

[collapse]

Then there is how cute Luo Luo (the toddler she was going to claim was the CEO's baby) acts. He starts off very tsundere and probably a little more vocal/smart than an average toddler but this story also has the FL as a lucky charm for others (simply touching her results in people finding money on the ground) so it kind of fits.

Add in the ML's dad scheming to improve his son's life by arranging a lot of things during a movie shoot. Finally, we also get to read the comments the in-story fans leave as part of the narrative and some of them are downright hilarious.

Most of the problems for the antagonists is just karma. Any time they try to pull the FL into the mud, someone comes forward or something happens that reverses the negativity back at them. Occasionally, it's the antagonists ruining each other. Yes, the FL prior to the story was a bit obsessed with the original-ML but his reactions were always a little heavy-handed which resulted in her going off the deep end.

Following spoilers are pretty heavy spoilers for story content, fair warning.

Spoiler

They pretty much grew up together and he was her first love. From the parts we read about their childhood, he was friendly to her and never once told her that he wasn't interested. She also got badly burned when she rescued him from a fire when he was 17 and she was only 14. This resulted in her going to get plastic surgery to take care of the burns so he never realized it was her that did it (dude is a moron). Upon return, he acted cold toward her because he thought it was the original-FL who rescued him and not the FL.

Couple all that with him thinking she had gone from chasing him to chasing the ML as a way to get money. First it was "she's doing it to get my attention" and then it quickly evolves into her being a gold-digger (or just using the ML to help boost her career). But that being said, he does actually react to discovering that the original-FL was lying to him. He...

[collapse]

Spoiler

Pretty much wrecks her and her family. He breaks up with her (made all the more awesome because she is still lying about being his saviour before he kicks her out), reveals the truth about the fire (which sends her father to prison) and buys her father's company. Her life spirals after that and he refuses to help her (she even tries to borrow money from him after it's revealed she was sleeping with another guy while still in a relationship with him).

Overall, this is a pretty entertaining read. <<less

It's cute and silly. I would have liked more explanation on why the FL transmigrated, but oh well. That aside, I enjoyed the story: strong FL, ML loves FL for her good points and not just because she's pretty, cute kid/family interactions.

I mostly enjoyed the FL doting on her kid - it was very sweet. Her pursuing an acting career to fulfill the original body's wishes was done well - she's not naturally talented at acting, but the hard work from the original paid off in addition to the ML's... more>> guidance. The lucky koi part was amusing and explained the FL's strong personality, though it also felt a bit off/extra to me. <<less

Good calm read. Absolutely adored cute Luo Luo, I have a soft spot for children. The story was nice and cute but nothing extraordinary, it did not have an 'omg! I crave more!' effect at the end. There are some plot holes here and there plus some plot points seem similar to those from other stories of a similar type, so nothing unique or complete. I liked most of the characters though.

This is okay so far but I found the FLs s*upidity and ignorance is irritating AF. The author has her lead into schemes without even thinking it through. She knows it's fishy but still steps right in it and she does it without even having a plan to save herself. (This is one of my worst pet peeves in a story like this.) And how hard is it to read a script and figure out what emotions you should be portraying if you are part of that scene? At one... more>> point she calls herself s*upid when talking to the director, I have to say I agree completely. She is as s*upid as a pig. I really hope that she gets better in the acting plotlines. I can see that the author doesn't want to make her over the top brilliant but starting her from not even being able to figure which emotion she needed to act? This is like life emotion 101. It would be more logical that she might feel stage fright or be stiff in front of the camera a few times. I'm going to read it for a bit longer since it's not that long of a story to begin with. I hope that her acting chapters will get better. I will edit my review accordingly.

On the flip side of this is that the baby scenes with LuoLuo are to die for. I just wanna sqeeeeee everytime I read about him.

Edit-Thank god FLs acting got better.
Spoiler

Her weird s*upidity over not being able to figure out which emotion she should portray for each scene but now the author has completely pissed me off by having the FL do her Toaist BS to make money. Not only does she use fake props like that will make it more believable but she also brings the baby and says he's the 32nd disciple of her BS whatever hoodoo sect. She even tries to keep it going when she is caught by the ML. He thinks she is swindling people. She tries to act cute to get out of it. Wut? Here we go with the absolute cringe factor. Does the author really think that's the way to go for someone that is an actual heroine? (She saves an 8 year old boy from a burning building burns her hands up in the process.)

[collapse]
I really want to give the author a tight slap.

Edit 2- I'm getting close to dropping this. I am really starting to dislike the FL.
Spoiler

She is a cold hearted bit*h that denies the ML's feelings without any justification. The ML is always so good to her and especially to her son. One minute she acts like she doesn't want a relationship, then she says she wants to find the baby's father, then she says actors are unreliable. Which is it? Are we really supposed to believe that she doesn't want a father for her son? Should he go without a father?

[collapse]

Rant 2-OMFG she has to be one of the most s*upid FLs I have ever read about. I have now officially started skimming the novel. I wonder if this author is trying to be funny with all the lies and misunderstandings due to the FL's lack of a brain?
Spoiler

Worse one being that she adopted the baby. If this were real how much wrong do you need to do to your baby?

[collapse]
This is not my idea of funny AT ALL.

Last edit- The FL lead got a little better
Spoiler

after she accepted the ML's feelings. She wasn't as annoying but she was still s*upid. She can't figure anything out on her own and still s*upid about s*x which she had to be semi-forced into or else the ML would be a monk for the rest of his life without cheating or getting with someone else. When they finally did get intimate she acted like the ML was killing and bullying her just like almost all CNs. That gets so old really. S*x is the most intimate act that you can share with someone why make it awkward or shameful?

[collapse]

Overall the story was okay but I didn't really like how the FL treated the ML. Her innocence was used as a way to stall their relationship
Spoiler

even though she'd already had s*x and a baby.

[collapse]
In modern times the age of 18 is the usual age to lose your v**ginity. She was already legal age.

There were a lot of things left unexplained but one thing that would have made the story and ending better for me would be for the FL to do
Spoiler

revenge against the Qiao Rouhuan. That skank was nasty and jealous towards the FL till the very end. It would have been satisfying to read about Moyu sending her to her grave with a shitton of torture along the way.

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH OMGGGGG <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I started this like a day or two ago and literally just finished it xD It's not like the 'best' novel BUT DEFINETLY A HEARTWARMING ONE! Maybe it's just my opinion, but I consider it in my 'comfort reads' category aaAAA. It's not adventurous like most chinese villainess transmigration novels, but is still better than most!

Spoiler

Qiao Moyu, our pretty and handsome Brother Yu aaAAAA I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!! She's a strong independent woman and we love that so we stan <3 She literally does martial arts so she can probably beat two or three guys if need be. She's not the type to get bothered by negative words such as baseless rumors meant to ruin or hurt her. She has her own principles and she takes pride on her own so she doesn't lower herself just to play baseless child games with others (aka the supposedly main characters lmao). She may not be a genius but she's definitely clever enough to notice if there's something that doesn't feel right. In short, she's independent enough that she could protect her own as well as her sweet little baby.

Ye Peicheng, our lovely Male Lead aaAAAA. I love how he wasn't the original male lead from the actual novel but instead is just a supporting role. It gives off the feeling of fairness or actual chemistry between him and our FL since she also wasn't the original female lead. In the original novel, they were both characters that didn't get a happy ending. Moyu being framed and laughed at by everyone while Peicheng is still famous but it was said that he lead a very lonely life. I love how while changing her own, Moyu's life, she also changed those around her, especially Peicheng. He's such a good character I can't believe he's just a supporting role in the original novel.

Both of their relationship wasn't something that happened with just a snap. FL didn't latched onto him while ML also wasn't particularly interested with her. I love the slow pacing of their relationship as most transmigration romance were quite fast paced, it suits really well that their relationship took a while before they notice their feelings for one another. I also love me some good obsessed ML (hehe) so I really appreciate the Peicheng is hehehe. He's also just the perfect male lead that I love. Is extremely possessive but lets the female lead act on her own. (Cuz most novels with possessive male leads are way too dominant that they literally control them so this is a good change for that kind of character lmao).

And of course wHO WOULD FORGET OUR SWEET LITTLE BABY LUO LUO OH MY LITTLE MOCHI HE'S SO ADORABLE CUTE LOVELY AAAAAAAAAAAA <3

Xing Yichen, the original male lead. Honestly, I'm just glad he wasn't actually the male lead HASHASHSAHA. I started reading this thinking that he'd still be the end game, since that's how it usually goes, bUT, fortunately he wasn't BECAUSE HE'S SO SHITTY HE DESERVES HIS ENDING WITHOUT MOYU. He's that type of male lead that only cares for you IF you're their partner, if you're just a nobody, you can literally die and maybe he'll be kind enough to move out of the way so that he wouldn't be dirtied by your blood. Yes, he's that indifferent to others he deem unimportant. While that character may seem normal in romance, realistically speaking, that's a quite alarming personality right there. He treated the original Moyu like sh*t JUST BECAUSE SHE LIKES HIM WHILE HE DOESN'T. I mean, yeah maybe she got pretty annoying since she keeps on forcing herself on him, BUT it's because there's a bit of bond or history between them. They were literally childhood friends. AND, in the og moyu's perspective, she was his 'savior' so of course she expected that he'd be way nicer to her. Other than og moyu being way too direct, there were no other reasons for him to treat her like shit. So, I love how he ends up knowing the truth, finally realizing that rather than hating her he actually loves her and is just sulking cuz she literally went off the radar for like 8 or so years, and tried asking for another change bUT didn't get it. I really really love that. He got his own karma at the end and I'm here for it.

Qiao Ruohuan, the original female lead. Honestly, I'm not sure how she was written as the og FL when she schemes like a villainess and also behaves like a villainess. I don't have that much feedback about her, I just don't like her to begin with LMAO.

[collapse]

I just feel that it would have been cool if there was a small but of information about Qiao Moyu's actual family, as well as a bit of part for her former brother from her first world. Would have been really cool but nonetheless, I LOVE THIS NOVEL OVER ALL. <<less

This novel has the right amount of romance and career in it. Plus the cute baby! I loved the MC and her kid. The fact she is sort of koi is really interesting and the steps she takes in acting and romance keeps you reading. You won't find many novels like this so even I have re-read it quite a few times when I couldn't find a good enough novel to read.

READ IT YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
