Well this is not your typical contract marriage filled with abuse and misunderstandings. In turn, it's a genuine love story of a longing 5 year love of a man who captured his love with contract.

My Gosh!! MC must have done some world saving thing to get ML as his love.

ML is a tsundre, but very cute type of. His tsundere behavior will never annoy anyone, cause it's the tsundere who fell in love. And MC is a perfect match for him because he is open-minded. Their bickering is so fun... more>> to read.

It's a pleasant story with full of fluff. <<less

Aside from the age gap, and the uncomfortable behavior of ML at the beginning of the story, the novel was simple and without conflict.

The MC's parents abandon him in the snow, and an old man rescues him and raises him. Due to cold, MC has some physical illness, and ML takes care of MC when they're married. ML met MC when MC was only 15-16, in a contest, and it was love at first sight. So he kept stalking him for the next five years and blackmailed MC to marry him.

To be honest, the first few chapters made me shed tears and dislike ML, a lot. If MC wasn't tolerant in the beginning, I honestly wouldn't see the end of this relationship. MC would walk away at the first chance he got and ML would be left in the dust. However, that didn't happen, because MC was able to see through ML's tsundere behavior and accepted him. ML is caring about MC, but as an adult, he could have softened the approach to marrying MC without throwing insults at him. The MC's parents are a redundant part of the novel, the only use they had is

All in all, the fluff is good (except the first 2-3 chapters, where I want to whack ML), the ML's family is genuine and accepting. So lack of MC's parents didn't feel like anything. The friends of MC are also nice. I wish this novel had more chapters and descriptions.

Smut is good, which is more important to me than anything, lol <<less

Well I don't know what to think, this novel is already halfway through and I really didn't see much progress in the protas, the ML is too exaggerated with being dominant, yes, I know it's supposed to be a tsundere but come on! Which is really unpleasant when he talks, not to mention that he is forcing the MC to live with him and marry, he could have tried to win him over first if he liked him but no, he preferred the worst way, any normal person would hate... more>> him, and most likely that if his goal were none other than Han Yang, that person would resent him for forcing him into an unwanted relationship and more likely would end up being unfaithful in the future (a resentful husband will always find comfort in the arms of another), Solo The MC, Han Yang, who seems to be desperate for love is able to ignore all this and see the bright side of things, I don't know if he is very naive or very sad. Really the boy changed ALL his opinion of ML just because I take care of him when he was sick, as if someone had never taken care of him before in his life, it was a complete exaggeration of an overnight change of perspective, I at least thought they would have more interactions like that, I didn't expect it to give in overnight, LITERALLY !! It was like that, the day after leaving the hospital he was already determined to marry and spend the rest of his life with a guy he had hardly seen. I expected more from this novel, more romantic interactions where the ML wins the MC's heart little by little, since the beginning was somewhat forced, and that the MC realized all the good things about ML little by little too, no by just one hit. Even if it is a short novel, the author, took half the chapters demonstrating the forced nature of their relationship and one or two (the ones in the hospital) to fix it, you could well have gone through all the chapters with scenes like that from a beginning and it would be more understood because Han Yang gave in to Helian Qin. <<less

3 - stars, cause I see it's a decent and full of fluff story. I also enjoyed it but just enough. I also like the happy ending of the story at least I finish it feeling satisfied.

Regarding the plot, it is angst-free and definitely full of fluff as the CP continues their reactions, it is almost plot-free if not for the little mystery on how the gong, fell in love for the uke. But, a heads-up for those who have a high bottom-line and can't tolerate some points just for... more>> the sake of reading. Oh, I'll also add those who are not fond of tsundere-type of characters cause:

(1) The gong is definitely a tsundere. So, if you can't tolerate it and don't understand how a tsundere acts and thinks then I guess, this is enough for you so just find another story to read.

(2) The gong forced the uke to get married to him. Using a threat to get him tied up with him. This is his way of starting or making his way towards him. Personally, at first, I didn't mind because I thought it shouldn't get that bad, right? And luckily, it didn't. The gong indeed used a heavy-handed way but thankfully, (for me) he sincerely and waited for the uke to let him show his sincerity and the uke, is also a mature and definitely laid-back character so, it wasn't really hard for the gong.

(3) Honestly for me in this part, it didn't bother me, especially when I read the full story because the gong not only waited but actually took a step back on pursuing the uke first but since I observe in the previous reviewers that this is a major turned-off for them then I'll add it here. The gong fell in love with the uke, when he was 25 and the uke was still just 15 or 16. Yes, he is very young indeed. Others find it creepy, yes, I admit but what made my mind change because he didn't pursue him during this stage. In fact, he won't get a chance to continue pursuing him which is mention in the extras, if he wasn't reminded again about the uke, and finding out that all this 5 years, his heart still beats for him and thus he started pursuing him. I guess the only thing I wondered is why did he force and threatened him when he can pursue him properly but then again, it's up to the author.

All in all, I enjoyed it. You can read it, only if you have high tolerance and willing to finish the whole story before nitpicking on it. <<less

I accidentally re read the book and still loving it. Its short and fills the gap. I thought since I read it, I will drop it after a few chapter but then, I ended up reading it.

In the first few chapters, I was kind of pissed and I don't like the ML. But as it goes on, after knowing his mind and heart, I can't help be melted by him! Adorably cute and funny hahaha

At first I was like, 'Is this what you call tsundere? It's a mistake! Heartless, rude, and selfish is the right term for that!'. Then, maybe after 5 chapters, I was like, 'This adorable man is a tsundere to the extreme!!'. Hahaha It had me laughed off a lot.

This is a very... more>> light story, there're no villains actually, not much problems. It just the story of how the MC slowly fell inlove with our ML and ML being a tsundere do his all for his wife.

Recommended for those looking for a light reading! Fluffy and smooth story. :) <<less

3 stars. This story has so much potential to be explored but half of the story, I’m not enjoying it too much

There’s this thing called tsundere but there’s another thing called rude. And honestly I feel that ML is bit too rude in the beginning. Thankfully he changed a bit.

What made me unsatisfied was the ending for the parents. It’s like not concluding to me in a way. And there’s not much explanation too about the debt. tsundere gong chases a MC forever until he finally has an excuse to capture him into a contract marriage and woo him.

Once they are in their marriage though the MC does have kind of a say in their relationship so that's good but how they got started together is eh not gonna be everyone's cup of tea.

Kinda of a chill read low conflict

Although ML wanted to take advantage of the contract to make sure MC is his only first right then, before taking time showing his real love and care, why later he kept hiding to MC his initial love at first sight when they first met years before.

Only bad people here are MC's biological parents, they're the marriage contract's culprits. They just appeared in the story few lines twice so nothing heavy to unbalance the overall positivity. <<less

Glad I gave this a chance and kept reading until the end, I felt like my heart was floating in cotton candy sweetness. Adorable. ML could work on his communication skills but since MC is fine with him that’s all that matters. Tbh I was super upset because of how it started and MC’s parents but ML really made up for it by showing his ooey gooey lovestruck interior beneath that cold and sharp exterior.

A great novel if you’re looking for a smooth story with just a few bumps, no... more>> rollercoaster rides here, more sweetness than anything really. Not really bittersweet as much as it is sweet, especially in the later chapters. Oof, the ending had me rolling around, I want what MC and ML have! <<less

It was a great short story, after I finished reading another novel I decided to find short novel to read and find this. Not my cup of tea but decided to try 'cause got interested when I read the description, it didn't waste my time and pretty good storyline.

If you like fluff and sweetness galore, this is definitely for you. This one is sweet, short, and simple. There's no angst, no major misunderstanding, no villains - basically a slice of life. I absolutely loved the sweet moments shared between the couple. But I deducted one star for the very awkward/weird beginning. I don't know why the author had to use this kind of excuse to put the MC and ML together. But I was very satisfied with the rest of the novel. The interactions were cute, the... more>> ML, despite his potty mouth and his dominating behaviour, was very respectful regarding their physical intimacy. There were some inconsistencies about both the storytelling and the characters, but you don't feel it too much since the story itself is quite short.

There's only 1 detailed NSFW chapter, and it's HOT!! 🔥🔥🔥

A nice short read but took me weeks to completely read it all. It has a simple plot which no need to put work all that brain cells and just enjoy the fluff.

At first, ML looks really annoying and bad because of the contract marriage. But then again, read the sypnosis, it ain't lying. ML and MC are just the cutest and sweetest. Despite ML's devil tongue, he's very kind, attentive and awkward at the same time, so please don't give up too early on this novel.

I recommend this if... more>> you like to heal your weary heart from all the angsty novels you just read. <<less

wreck helian qing to the point his heart break and beg han yang to get back with him.

Ik its kinda cruel but qingqing attitude makes me felt like "oh, this boy has a bad temper. MC please punish him a bit" LMAO- but not that serious since ik HY has a good temper.

Example:

  • HenLian Qing accidently stepped onto Han Yang's bottom line, resulting HY to be mad at HLQ and HY travelled back to his hometown then HLQ chasing him, apologizing to HY which HY actually isnt that mad anymore because he travelled back to his hometown to gather his mind and calm down so theyre back again.
  • When the scene where the three Lao's (laoda, lao'er and laosi) want to met HLQ, and HLQ said he doesn't want to met them HY just casually said "oh then im going to inform them that my partner is SO busy that he CANT spare some time to met his WIFE'S friends." and after that ignoring HLQ 24/7 hours and in the midnight HLQ snuggled into HY and said "Han Yang, Im sorry okay? ill meet your friends.. so forgive me alright?" HLQ literally let his pride as the overbearing CEO down and act ~meng/cute~ to Han Yang which resulting HY to broke into laughter and forgive him easily because its not some kind of matter to be mad at and HY knows HLQ temper well and HY just want to see his reaction where HY just gave him"oh, okay then, bye" reply him (basically like ~go with the flow~ yknow? like "hey I hate you!" "oh, aight. Bye." then a few second later "wait!! No come back!! I actually love youu!!!" "is that so? Love you too then."
