This story is okay. I read quickly wear the face of a devil before this so now it just feels like a knock off. Im not trying to offend anyone, if I had read this first I'd probably like it better than the other. The plotline is good though so im going to keep reading it and see where it goes.

pretty good, though some of the stories feel kind of incomplete and left me feeling a vague sense of dissatisfaction. There were a couple of stories that also felt pointless, like the entertainment centered one. I kept waiting for the challenge/ drama/ conflict and they went off traveling instead. There's a set up for a nice showdown but then he's off being lovey-dovey with the ML and someone else takes down the protagonist and the two never even see/ speak to each other from the moment he arrives until the... more>> day he "dies". Everything seems to go a little too easy for the MC and he always finds the ML right away, though I'm not 100% clear on how. He just automatically feels a sense of familiarity no matter how different the ML might look. So far I would rate this about a 3-3.5 but I'm not done reading the MTL yet. I'll get there eventually. Sometimes you wonder why good novel get low rate while novel that has quite mess get a good rate...

Okay, I'm not saying this novel is bad, since I'm only read 2 arcs so far. The 1st arc wasn't bad at all but still only has the taste of ordinary. While the 2nd arc quite mess because the author maybe don't know how they want to deliver a story with Multiple Personality ML??? Or they want to make short story but they can't??? I don't know.

I can only hope the rating... more>> wasn't a bias and maybe the rest of the story and the end is much better than the beginning.

Similar to FOD the story is interesting and worth the effort!

I also like the character of MC and ML, they are intelligent and witty, really well done! I wish someone continued this novel.

I personally don't mind the way Exiled Rebels Scanlations put their translator comment and notes.. but it's just me thou so please don't mind it that much.. <<less

I read reviews who are annoyed that everyone always compare QT to FOD. In truth, yes not all QT are like FOD, and I like them a lot. However, this one really has some similarities you can't deny.

First, MC condition that they are originally controlled by system but then got free (one way or another.

Second, MC personality. A very great actor, very skilled in everything, very cofident and etc.

I think so far, I haven't read QT Bl story that gave me dejavu vibe of FOD quite like this one does. No hard feeling since I read FOD first lol. <<less

To be honest, this novel ain't that bad. However, it can't obviously compare to Quickly wear the face of the devil, as there are sooooo many plot holes, like in all the arcs, you always had this incomplete feeling. It felt like you missed a chapter or some bits were cut out. It also doesn't specify if there have been any time changes.

Furthermore, there wasn't any details on pa pa pa scenes!!! T-T, like we were misssingggg outttt!

But overall, it is a good novel, I loved the 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th and the 9th arcs. Although, there were many plot holes, I liked them the most. <<less

I remember having read this a long time ago, but the only thing I remembered was that the MC kept being mol*sted by a tree in the system space. I did not remember any of the different arcs or plots, just the mol*ster tree. So the different arcs weren't really memorable. Even on my second read, it felt like a read a new novel except for that one flash of remembrance whenever the mol*sting tree came up.

Now that I have finished my second read, I barely remember any of... more>> the different arc plots. But I got a bad memory to begin with so that's on me. The only thing besides the tree that I seem to recall was how the ending was kinda confusing, but I chalked it up to mtl. Second time mtl was still confusing so no improvement on my reading comprehension there.

Generally, from what I can remember, the plots were okay, could have been fleshed out more as sometimes there were time skips that skipped content that could have made the plot more coherent and could have made it easier to immerse oneself into the plot. Thus, rather than feeling sad or happy along with the characters I felt like a bystander without any emotional involvement.
