It's not just the translation that is bad, the novel itself is bad. Many would agree as even the author himself lashed out in his postscript about people giving his novel bad reviews and he said "it's my book and I write it. If you don't like it, don't read it." words that no competent writer would ever have to say.

As for the novel, it has all the bad clichés I can think of that could be seen in chinese martial arts novels added with bad execution, narrative, and lackluster... more>> world building. <<less

Looks interesting, but I wont be following. The TLs grammar is bad. It reads like a broken MTL that no one bothered to fix.

I know some folks can get past that, not me though, it makes my brain itchy.

About the novel itself I have nothing pertinent to say about it.

I agree with the other 2 before me. Translator is like MLT.

The thought of the idea of the novel to start was intriguing but that was basically it. Nothing else can improve the story any better. Everything else is pretty much done by others already and this just stems off from it in a similar sense.

Not sure how these people came out writing stuff like this without some critical thinking. Some common sense would work but it seems it was extinct from their DNA.

One of the most annoying tropes in Chinese fiction....

Spoiler

finding out the beautiful sister is adopted, super powerful and has a 'mysterious' background.... why can't they just have normal sisters??? Even buying a s*ave girl... turns out she's a princess... WTF??

[collapse]
Do normal girls not exist? I think it should almost be a drinking game... how many mysterious, powerful girls can the Chinese protagonist fall over walking down the street? And trying to make villains gay or effeminate? Is the author trying to lick the posterior of the Chinese government?

Did the people who rated this as 5 even read it?? <<less
