Su Shi was once a platinum-level host with the highest survival rate. One day, his misdeeds of constantly shifting his blame onto others was found out and reported. Convicted of violating the rules, he was bound to an Automatic Blame Shouldering System and exiled to lower-level worlds.

Now, not only does he have to take the blame from others and shoulder it himself, he must also carry that blame and rush to his death in order to earn enough points to quickly unbind from the system.

Su Shi only wants to get rid of the system by shouldering the blame until death. However, he finds that trying to hold onto the blame is even harder than passing it on, and rushing to his death is even harder than running for his life.

As Su Shi lies dying in the protagonist’s arms with red-rimmed eyes and a weak and helpless countenance, an uninvited third guest suddenly rushes out to explain the misunderstanding for him.

Su Shi: “I beg you, just let me shoulder this blame, otherwise, it will all be a waste of effort…”

It's funny how our MC tries hard to shoulder d blame or get his pot back but his plans always got ruined by ML hahahha he got stomachache, tears, vomit blood cause of it in the end MC just accepts it hahaa thinkin like: ok it's usually like this let's just try what we can finish, what can I do I just love him, can't always scold him= (Ml)

I think this is a Light danmei more on adventure. There are no intense/detailed love scene of our couple so if ur looking for that in this novel there's none. In this story there's some heartaches/I cried on some scenes cause MC need to have something blamed on him and our ML too feeling pained whenever something happened to MC. This novel is about our MC's adventure add the forehead kisses of ML awww and his warm embrace. Good if ur on the adventurous side, sometimes I got bored but the story is nice^^

Don't let the chapter number confuse you above— the translator is only on chapter 43 of 161 (at this time, the chapter # listed in NU is 138). They just split it into 3-4 parts and keep counting up. I started reading because I thought it was close to the end but they're not even halfway through. That being said, the translation itself is good, have no complaints there.

The novel is cute and the twists are hilarious. If you're looking for an easy read with some sad moments, this is... more>> a good one to go to. <<less

This one's really cute. The main character Su Shi is very obedient and hardworking. He tries his best to complete the tasks handed to him, even though they usually fail anyway lol.

I think this is the only part of the story that annoyed me from the beginning. The blurb states that he committed the misdeeds of constantly shifting blame from himself to others, but based on the personality he's shown as you read the story, obviously, he would feel too guilty to do anything like that. So, was he actually... more>> a really shitty dude, but the story suddenly decided to make him cute and diligent, or maybe what happens to him throughout the worlds happened before as well? Maybe, he didn't intentionally shift the blame, but his innocence caused people to automatically think he wasn't a bad guy and thus not the one who did bad things even if he did?

What to say... so far I have mixed feelings on this. On one hand I like it and the idea behind it. Having a scheming bts person that pushes everyone into pits become the hero that silently shoulders the blame for all, is interesting. I could also understand a rocky start at getting used to doing the exact opposite of his instincts but bleepity bleep bleep its painful for me. When it started, I was sincerely hoping he'd die in dishonor (weird right haah) as arc 1 kept progressing... more>> and his task kept regressing I started wishing I could transmigrate to him to kill him myself and not because of the task but because of the s*upidity. First arc made me question my morals. Second arc just started and it's not so bad. I think others would enjoy this story. I just don't know if I can hold out with my mood swings of wishing death to the MC for his points or just wanting to passionately mu*der him to put the MC and the reader (me) out of our misery. This story... is really 2D, it's sweet and all, pretty okay read if you want some brainless fluff of Doting Gong x Reluctant but soft-hearted Shou, but the characters and overall story didn't rlly grab my attention nor did they touch my heart, unlike Heroic Death System (which is the most similar to this story system which made the MC have to die) or other QT stories like Holding onto My Man...

This story also dissappoint me as a not very satisfying read since the MC who is supposed to be... more>> someone with high survival rate by transferring the pot to others which should make him as someone with high cunning, acting and scheming ability and due to his high rank he should have been someone with more independence, strength and pride but unfortunately, he's been reduced to this soft little rabbit with high pain tolerance that is treated like glass by the ML.

Some ppl like that, and that's fine but this story rlly isn't my cup of tea. <<less

In my opinion, if fellow readers have money to pay for something that said "not legal", then why not go to the author's site and buy directly from there? I think, it will be better that way. I don't understand chinese, but I try to translate it by myself. I use google translate most of the times. I understand that it won't be 100% accurate, and it's very troublesome since I don't really understand about the idioms or the slangs, but I prefer it that way.

As I said above, readers has their own choices. But I hope that all of us can do things wisely, in a right way. <<less

I'm gonna put this on hold, actually, I might as well just drop this. Every mission keeps on failing, MC is supposedly some high ranking host but he can't even grasp the situation. I'm sorry for comparing, but I'd much rather read "Heroic Death System" rather than this. I think I left a review there saying that I'll be dropping it but now I don't think that its too bad after all. Why do I compare these two you ask? They have similar concepts, its just that the protagonist there... more>> actually gets sh*t done. The MC here doesn't.

Honestly, at one arc this guy acts cold whilst enduring pain almost equivalent to death and the next he's already shivering in pain due to a leg injury. I know theres a difference because he was marshal at the first arc and at the second he's just an ordinary person, but still?? He's supposed to be an experienced host but he's not showing that at all. Its like he's new at it. Bro, the protagonist in HDS is a new host but he's already a hundred times better than this guy. Also, what's the use of a talking system who can converse just fine if its not gonna help the protagonist?? Might as well have made it into a system who only automatically tallies his points rather than a conversable system. MC can't even act nor can he conceal his feelings. It made me flip my whole bed upside down. He got bribed by a hot cocoa? Seriously? You're a high ranking host bro??? And the amount of times wherein he just gives in? No. Just no. Also, THEY KEEP READING EYES. LIKE WTF?? EVERY SINGLE TIME ITS JUST EYES EYES EYES. Istg.

This novel ain't that bad but its also definitely not good either. MC made me shriek so much bc of his obliviousness. I don't like him but I don't hate him either. I think he's hardworking which is a good thing but he's s*upid in the all the needed areas which causes his efforts to be all for naught.

If you liked this type of concept but was disappointed bc MC couldn't accomplish shit, I recommend reading "Heroic Death System" if you haven't already. <<less

Good story! Though I had to drop at chapter 47 (the mtl one, not the translated since translator divides a chapter in 5-6)

It's pleasant and enterteining to read but even though I'm grateful to the translators we have to wait at least a month or even more to get one full chapter. And that makes you lose track of the story in my opinion.

Mtl was readable until chapter 40 I think. But then words and sentences were hard to understand and I had to really use my imagination at... more>> some point to make sense of what I was reading. I will comeback to read it when it's finished but at this pace it may took years. I hope they get more translators to help or something because I really enjoyed the different worlds and plots so far. Storywise 4.5 stars out of 5. <<less

but it's hard for him to maintain pot with him

its like telling physcist to become chemist as punishment so no wonder he will be bad at it on top of it there's our ML who always wants to remove the pot unintentionally

su shi and ML prolly were host and system in 1st but they failed final assess**ent in order to protect sushi soul ML restarted himself ? And su shi's memory were sealed

and su shi started his journey as host with another system he was so gd at throowing pots on other hosts he was reported to main system by them and sushi had to start journey as carrying the pot

so arc 1 to 3 are novice level next is intermediate level and high level finally assignment and going out

so basically ML is set of data when he occupies other bodies he cant bring all his data over cause of rules

and that's why whenever he sees MC getting misunderatood by everyone he steps and clears them

MC didnt want to be harsh with his lover as he knows only he has full memory in tasks so he gives up the pots to live happily with his lover

as this doesnt effect overall task just he will loose few exp points

and this not only helped our MC and ML but also gave clear ending to all those characters who were misunderstood cause of rumours and speculations

and all these ppl are in final assessment and none of their soul is erased so its kinda gd to see those ppl living happily

and they become main cheats for our MC and ml

everything is so cute

alsoc doesnt want to hurt other characters who are gd to him even if they are mere data

so he always gets S rating cause the world data loves him

unlike other hosts who just take it as game

it has few trauma related stuff like MC always being alone couldnt even make frnds as they didnt trust him and all (yeah I didnt much like the 2nd immortal arc where MC is demon lord something)

and ML loosing mc

but its just cute

and MC and ML adopt lu deng whos MC of the other novel hes such a sweet baby need to give him more love 💖💖

It's a nice read, and I'd recommend reading it if you're bored as it's a good story to kill time.

... Although, I do agree with the person who said they would like to mu*der the MC themselves. I enjoy the plot and the entire concept in general but it gets frustrating.

I might continue to update as I finish other arcs, but having just finished arc one, I can tell you in absolute truth when he finally died was my favorite part. ... more>>

It just felt like the same scene repeated 5 or so times in a row. The MC almost dies -> hes saved somehow -> ML feels sorrow over MC's near death -> they kiss -> the MC immediately goes rushing to kill himself another way. How did the ML not think he was suicidal? It was largely pointed out through the arc that the ML sincerely thought that the MC "still wanted to live", how??? I'm choking on the characters naivety.

I was also frustrated on the MC's acting. His character is just too weak. His acting is either terrible or simply counter-productive.

At least he's cute? He just definitely doesn't act like a "platinum-level host with the highest survival rate". Well, I guess the highest survival rate holds true at least, because even when he's desperately trying to he just can't die.

Okay, I'm done complaining. Despite the MC being kinda dumb, and the scenes getting somewhat repetitive, and the romance being a lil fast paced, it still has a very interesting plot and the translator has done a fantastic job. It's a lighter novel than I usually read, so it's kind of a breath of fresh air! Just something I'd real for fun and to kill time. <<less

I read MTL. And just finished arc one. I hated how the arc goes. Su Shi is definitely dumb enough to not know how to deal with disobedient male protagonist. He should've learn from MC in Supporting Male Lead.

I don't believe a marshal not carrying a hand gun or two, this situation of losing such landslide of point could have been prevented.

Anyway, this 1st arc is heartbreaking but it's glaringly dumb for such a seemingly clever character. I won't rate yet, I want to finish reading whole novel before I... more>> rate. I just want to rant my frustration out, lol.

Update: I cannot finish reading this novel, I only got to the fantasy 48h arc and just. It's a dumb shou x disobedient dumb gong. It's dumb. I hated it. I'm sorry. I won't rate it, because I feel that it won't be fair to the people who likes this novel. Because novel-wise it is a good story and many people will like it. I just really hated the characters （¯口¯）

Rather this, I think it's better to just read Perfect Destiny :v <<less

Out of all the world hopping/quick transmigration stories this is story that has the most satisfying ending for me. I'm often really displeased with rushed and half-hearted endings but this one I really loved! From the author comments it also seems that there is a sequel with one of the characters they met. I might go and read that one as well. Just need a MTL break...

In my honest opinion, this one's actually better than Heroic Death System and Mount Tai. It has some of the best worlds and tear-jerking moments. And I also like how much the couple adored each other. Of course, QWTFD is still the first 👌

Now that I think about it, it's actually pure genius that MC was able to shift blame so many times before this novel started and only got found out after he reached platinum level. Because as a reader and actually seeing the POV inside out, I can't... more>> find it in me to see him as a villain in each arc or blame him after seeing how he went around the tasks. Not one bit. That's actually a solid reason why he was able to shift blame before.

The fact that I've never thought about it the first time I read this novel before and MC seemed so dumb and oblivious (and at point, he was) was true, but he was just too softhearted for the ML.

And to think about it, how the heck can he act like a weak white lotus the whole time until someone actually found out that he cheated? Now it's actually reasonable why he always failed to shoulder the blame, because everyone in the story (many reviewers included) always thought that he's a weak white lotus, not even a villain they should hate on. So it's not that he's a failure of being a host, but he's too good at being a white lotus lolol <<less

I started this yesterday afternoon and I’m done with all 128 chapters that’s been released - that’s how good I think it is. The premise is pretty interesting, the MC is a world hopper that is meant to try and shoulder all the blame that happens per story he gets thrown into. I read some reviews before starting and I was a little bit concerned that I might find the MC s*upid but honestly he’s just hilarious. The poor guy is trying his best to be the ‘bad’ person but... more>> is absolutely failing at it due to situational circumstances as well as his own natural disposition to be kind.

I came looking for a novel where the MC gets hurt a lot and boy does this not disappoint. This novel manages to balance story telling with humor and at the same time the parts that are heart wrenching really made me want to scream at my phone.

Also my heart during the third arc where MC is called Ivan and the ML is Esmond. I was legitimately on edge the entire arc because they kept taking turns trying to sacrifice themselves for the other AFSJSK

I don’t think I’ve ever shipped two characters this hard before but honestly I went from ‘aw this is a cute ship’ in the first arc to ‘oh my f*cking god please let these two be happy together’ at the third arc.

The chapters available are midway through the fourth arc and honestly I hope that the translator will eventually upload the rest of the chapters. As far as I know chapter 129-160 are already translated but have been locked behind a pay wall for the last two years.

All in all I think this is a great novel, also kudos to the translator for making it such a smooth read (tried the MTL, it was terrible). I love how hilarious this novel is and how funny the MC is and yet the author doesn’t let the humor take away seriousness of the situation between the characters. <<less

I liked the concept. Translation was good.

MC is s*upid. He cannot control showing his thoughts and intentions on his face. He is not at all alert. He is not observant. He often becomes easily stunned, moved, muddle-hedded and impulsive. He often blurts our what he thinks inside. And he was called a platinum level host with highest survival rate. I would not have gotten so much frustrated if he was mentioned as a newbie. Atleast not to the extent of screaming at his s*upidity and obliviousness. And gosh! He desperately... more>> tries to die but ends up rescued by ML or his other NPCs. He "died" for 4-5 times in the first arc. I even left hope of him dying. I got ready for his long live HE with ML.

While the MC is in this way, everyone else are intelligent. They easily catch MC's blurted out words and emotions. They easily catch the subtext and misunderstand it. They always be alert of MC. ML is even more awesome. He doesn't leave a small hint of MC's attitude. He is, as usual, OP, overbearing and possessive.

I did not like the way ML tossed MC around not considering his body condition. MC just gave in and went with the flow. This thing got me more irritated. I could not sympathize with ML. I just wanted MC to complete the task. I thought I would enjoy the misunderstanding but I couldn't.

This kind of setting.... it feels like MC is destined to be in this way. I better drop this. Except the plot and plot settings, I cannot not enjoy literally anything, <<less

There's nothing glaringly wrong about this novel, but I personally found it boring. You're thrust into each world without much world building and expected to just suddenly care about the side characters/story, which is a tall order when you're still trying to process the new setting. Even then, you don't spend enough time/chapters to really get to know anything, so by the end of the world I didn't have any strong feelings about it. The romance is slow and doesn't amount to much either.

I MTLed it up to chapter 47, which is the end of arc 4. MTL is making me go crazy though.

I'm thankful for the translators efforts, but I also agree. The numbering for the chapters should be fixed so that it says parts 1, 2, 3... Also the paying for separate parts instead of a full chapter....

Anyway, this novel is a good novel. I've been waiting on translator's updates since around the same time last year. Translator does a good job.

I enjoyed Su Shi's struggle of trying to keep misunderstandings/blame... more>> and how he tries to fight back and of course fails. <<less

Well, the chapter count in the translation and raw is different, so I don't know which chapter I've finished according to the original novel's chapter count. After ch 56, there will be 4/5 more chapters to end the 2nd arc I guess. Somebody mentioned this already - this is similar to "Heroic Death System" or "How to Die as Heavy as Mount Tai". The difference is that this novel our MC's characters have to die in infamy first and get posthumous glory when the misunderstandings are resolved. The tragic... more>> undertones are there and despite the hasty romantic development, I feel sad for the ML. He has to see his lover die in front of him in a tragic and painful way and is wracked with guilt. There are quite a few plot holes but it was quite enjoyable, especially, the MC's reaction at failing to shoulder the blame was hilarious ? However, like many others mentioned already, the novel isn't the best example of it's genre. So, I won't urge you to read it of you have better stories to enjoy. <<less

A classic novel about a man who only wants to die with the blame. Like, he doesn’t even care anymore, he just courts death and keeps getting misunderstood by the Ml, who pokes holes into our shou’s plans. I really pity him—it was perfect until he arrived.
