Short but heartful read. A love story between immortal fox lady and a loyal and honest man. The ending is beautiful. The reality doesn't change because of ones love but it penetrates the heart of once an emotionless being. ?

I won't lie, I cried into my pillow for quite some time. A fluffy yet sad and bittersweet tale. T__T I wish there was a sequel!

Sad and hopeless short story of a human falling in love with a fox demon and waiting till the end. The human was saved by the fox and therefore owed a life debt, but he chose to repay it in eternal devotion. It's beautifully written and gut wrenching. Story of sometimes being unable to reach the person we want because of life circumstances. But not everything is that hopeless. Translation is perfect, thank you! Do I LIVE for tragic stories like this? My gods YES.

the story despite being short managed to capture my heart. I could almost CRY ok? The man pierced through my heart & so did the fox.

This story is really short but I think it explored the main pairing pretty well. I like how the fox, as an immortal/long-lived being, remains consistent in her characterization throughout the years - she's a lying lazy fox that doesn't have much care in the world, and is separated from the mortal world.

The translation itself is well done. It's not translated into flowery, flowing sentences (that you often see in more emotion-entrenched stories), but it does get the point across and is easy to understand, so kudos to the translator.

Normally, I'd give it a 4 star, but this is one of the better short stories I've read here so I'll bump it up. <<less
