I say there is potential for this to be a really fun story. But usually, these types of stories end up getting dropped by the translator. So hopefully this one will continue for a while at least.

I like the main character. She is fairly fun and I feel the story manages to have a nice balance between her being calculating and smart. Usually these types of stories we will have these character be overly calculating or smart and kind of takes you out of the story. This one manages it... more>> in a more natural way.

I'm not sure if I like that there are two people that have transmigrated. It might be interesting and I do like that the MC is hiding it from the other women in the story. Kind of funny how the other girl is assuming the MC is just someone from this place while the MC is just plotting behind the girls back.

I'm also not a fan that the MC was already apart of the system at the start of the story and how it's setup. I think I'd prefer it more if the MC had died then we got introduced to the system. I also kind of dislike and like that the MC will be on Earth tell she accepts a quest. On one hand, I dislike that she is still a mortal and bound to those rules but on the other, I like that it's not just her stuck in some empty void tell her next mission.

The story also has a nice slow burn type of pacing, unlike most Chinese novels. Nothing seems rushed or premature. I do hope it doesn't take too long though for the Yuri to actually come into action though.

Overall I like this story and hope we get more some time. <<less

I'm excited to see a decent yuri series on here. There are plenty of yaoi and het series available, but yuri is like a mythical unicorn. The MC is an assassin who has learned things in the modern-day world. She is not an OP protagonist who is also a master of ancient poisons or bizarre face masks or body-changing magic, unlike many other series, which is a true delight. She is intelligent and calm.

The story is still in the first arc at this point, but it's been interesting so far.... more>> The protagonist is clever and works hard.

My biggest complaint thus far is that the set-up and opening are weak. The MC's history is summed up rapidly without showing the readers what her life was really like or making us feel her motivation.

For now, I'm rating this series as a 4/5, but it has a potential to reach a 5/5 based on how it closes each arc. <<less

Wow, am I the first person to write a review for this in 2020??

I am appalled that this story hasn't been picked up cause I think this story has potential and this is the first that I've read a GL story that the MC is dense despite being too focused on her missions. It tickled me inside reading that the story is true to its genre and tags when it said "dense protagonist". Heck, how the MC came to be as she is now made me feel to be in... more>> tune with this character, and it hit my mark in which I personally love love-hate relationships and also, where there are dense protagonists. I never really thought how a GL story would bring about a dense protagonist and the female lead being together. This story felt like a change of pace in the stories I've read where male protagonists are the ones that are dense, but this! This felt like a masterpiece to me to the point that I'm hungry and expecting for more from this GL story.

I just MTL the whole story (17 worlds/arcs) and here's some summary, I have limited vocabulary but still wrote this review because I really love this story! (Haven't edited anything just wrote immediately after finishing the novel hehe)

Fate trading system will fulfill your wishes in exchange with your soul, When Su Xin died (MC), Qiu (FL) exchange her part soul to make MC live again, due to this her trade their Fate crossed and became soul dependent to each other (MC doesn't know about this only FL).

MC travels between world and fulfills the Original Owners' wishes to extend her life in the Original World if she finishes the missions.

FL on all worlds are the same (Qiu Qing) but they don't remember each other in every mission world, but FL will remember the experience after the mission and MC's memory will be blurred (she can retrieve them, once the contract with system is over).

FL in every world is the cold domineering type (queen, princess president etc) but whenever she sees MC the gentleness will be triggered, although there are no memories and it's not love at first sight in every world (more than that) there are force forcing her to care about MC and after recognizing that feeling (after 7+ chap) she will pursue/protect and love MC no matter what. If FL is the Alpha (cute little wolf sometimes, simp to MC) then MC is a wild beta isn't your typical damsell in distress but also dominant sometimes (she uses her brain and tactics and doesn't just depend on FL) .

The Dense Protagonist tag isn't just for a show but she really is! (Don't drop in the early chapters cause it will be sweeter in every arcs there would be character development) She doesn't know love or should I say she doesn't know she is already in love (I really respect FL for being patient teaching MC in every world what is love).

It's full of fluff, I have enough dog food in every arc but also little sad when the ending is nearing (cried a lot when MC left first FL will be left behind in that world, but when FL left first I feel bad for MC cause she was also hurt but doesn't know what it was, I remember after FL left first then came back in the real world she was the one who cried cause she left her beloved, how lovely they are{FL can gain all memories in every world after every mission} it would be better if there are closure in the first world and police/cult world cuz I really feel bad for FL during these arcs)

What I love the most about this Yuri is the variety of worlds they aren't your typical QT but full of plot and mystery it also include different settings such as Modern, urban, supernatural, ghost, space, vrmmorpg etc.

Fou$ here,
I only read this work's first arc (the life pf courtesan).
But I already felt bad about it. I truly, truly didn't like how MC toyed with the feelings of the empress.
Even as describing su xin as an ignorant, low IQ person, it cannot be explained. (i am also a person emotionally backward. even I won't do this this type of "emotional abuse", I say..)

After having physical contact with empress, she didn't even consider the probability of empress having feeling towards her.

I love assassins. I just don't know why, but I love those type who will come and go in the dark, no traces or evidence left behind. They will consider all pros and con's. Only these type of characters are worthy to be assassins. (Ofcource, this is only my opinion.)

If she knows nothing about empress's life, then it can be barely tolerated.
But she knews.. she knows the absolute loneliness the empress felt, as she herself had been submitted to this fate in her life. So, she could atleast hold back her words a little..... 👀👀

Sigh..... *
I will give two star for the efforts put behind this work...

I love this novel. It is unlike any other transmigration novel because each world is like a completely different story with different genre, but the novel was held together by the conversation between MC and the system and when she returns to the reality. Some world in it can be very very dark, while some can be quite light. Hopefully, TL can finish translating and share the masterpiece with everyone :D

MC is dense. FL and MC are both ruthless and well I'm doubting that they could stay together for a lifetime. Two cold and ruthless people together... is there even room for happiness? Maybe at first but in the far future... it's incredibly uncertain. But maybe, ... more>>

plot twist FL isn't actually the female empess in the first arc. Female lead maybe Shu Juan, or Yunshao or even the system lol (considering the system because MC acts spoiled only towards the system, she just acts different. System for some reason is adorable lol, maybe system can be a girl who knows?)

But Female Empress Qingqing is in the cover so it's likely that she's the FL

Oof! A story that isn't using 1st PoV?! A yuri one and transmigration one at that?! My heart! On a serious note, while I am still Ch3 in so far the story is pretty good so far other than that nothing much to say until there's more updates, so I can give a more concrete review. If you're like me and love this genre, this is so worth the read. The writing is just so beautiful. The Arcs are all so fluffy and beautiful and different and diverse. They're all very plot - rich and fresh. Of course, the last part is the most beautiful and fulfilling.

I rate 4 only the first arc. Following ones vary between a 2 and 2.5.

I really enjoyed the first arc. The setting was well built, love affairs are spicy rather than fluffy, the characters' portrayal and emotions appeared genuine. MC has the trait of being indifferent to many things, if not all; characters played roles that were quite unusual too. The elements of forbidden roles, taboo and rise of the underdog certainly played a big part. So I'd say, combined with the strong plot of palace dramas, it was a... more>> powerful story in the first world.

The problem with the rest of the story is that it's way too predictable. It follows almost exactly the same script, under different scenarios, with little divergences. For instance, MC will always have a close aide, usually a childhood friend, with a romantic interest on her, that is never reciprocated. Not only the setup, but the reactions, emotions and developments all occur in a similar manner. FL falls in love with MC quite naturally in many arcs, which is dull. Not only was it overused, but also watered down. Besides, one problem with indifferent characters is that, if you don't put enough conflict and mystery to make up for the apathy, he becomes boring. MC is just like that.

Those are just a few pieces I collected that made the story so boring. The story ended for me at the first world, and I only recommend reading that. Following worlds feel like a bad attempt at plagiarizing, that not only make it obvious that the content is stolen, but is also of lower quality. <<less
