A long time later, Ah Zhao and her younger generations started chatting about her own story.

“At first, I was selected by the system to become the man’s plug-in to help him reach the pinnacle of life.”

“-Then what happened afterward?”

Ah Zhao lit a cigarette and her expression had great changes:

“-Later, I became the wife of the Male God.”

I looked at the raws and it's actually a really sweet quick transmigration story! No drama, all fluff! The couple is 1v1 and loyal to each other.

The MC (Ah Zhao) is a being created to help fix worlds (along with a newborn system that she calls marshmallow/cotton candy) by empowering the ML. So if ML is getting abused for example, she'll step in as the guardian figure in his life and help him become a fully-fledged protagonist. Only Ah Zhao doesn't know that she'll end up making the ML fall... more>> in love with her along the way...

Ah Zhao is cute! Gentle and caring, a little cute and silly sometimes but she has her intelligent moments. ML is the same person each time and always ends up doting on her like there's no tomorrow. They communicate more than you'd expect and they're supportive of each other. <<less

This novel was fluffy crack. Seriously. It was so heartwarming at times, and it was just.... I machine translated the ENTIRE THING and do I regret it? No, no I do not.

Read this novel if you like:

    • THE CUTEST SYSTEM EVER. That's right, I'm calling it here. Marshmallow is the cutest system ever. I'm not spoiling the story and saying why, but suffice it to say when the the entire backstory of the FL and ML ends up being revealed, you will nod sagaciously along with me and go, "What a cute system. Here, let me hug you." Also, when the entire story is over with, the great author gives us an extra ~20 chapter epilogue of one of Marshmallow's future adventures, and I SQUEE'D throughout the whole thing it was absolutely adorable. And this is coming from someone who hates FL-system interactions and thinks systems should just be silent. Well, Marshmallow is the sole exception to this whole rule because Marshmallow deserves the whole world.
    • 1v1 HAPPY FLUFFY ARCS.
      Spoiler

There's only one arc where the FL and ML don't grow old together and kind of exist separately until they die, and I sobbed my heart out

      [collapse]
    • The character development of the FL. Ah Zhao kind of starts off the entire thing as a completely blank piece of paper, but then she starts gaining her own thoughts and independence. In a later arc, she remarks that if she hadn't met the ML so soon, maybe the ML wouldn't have made an impact on her.
      Spoiler

(or so she likes to think - I beg to differ, their love is kind of inescapable, there was this one arc where their memories were completely washed and she followed her instincts and STILL found her man)

      [collapse]
Yeah, so watching Ah Zhao develop as her own complete being that is separate and distinct from the ML was really like watching your daughter grow up, it was beautiful. And watching her exert independence from just being the ML's 'plugin' was also beautiful.
Do I think this was the best transmigration story ever? Nope. That honour still belongs to Xia Lang and her Wen Ren in QT: Face Slapping the Second Male Lead. I honestly doubt I'll find anything to beat the glory that is QT: FSSML in a long while because Xia Lang is.... very unique.

But I do think this was a great transmigration story? Yes, I really do. This checked all the boxes for me. It delivered heaping piles of fluff, there was enough character progression, the back story was written very well and by the end I was hoping for more of their past and more of their original love story.

I think maybe the only pity with this story is that I felt like I never got to see Ah Zhao's true feelings. The writing style is somewhat different. In QT:FSSML, you read from Xia Lang's POV and you really do see her emotional progress towards the ML and different people. Here, in some arcs I feel like you don't know exactly how Ah Zhao is thinking and feeling.

I really like this type of story... the quick transmigration+system+world hopping...

The story is good. The storyline is good.

The reasons why I chose to give only 3 stars:

Spoiler

1. At first the MC was quite naive and quite but as the arcs kept going, she overpowered others even the ML. It really contrast with the title actually.
2. Every chapters were quite short, making the whole arc to be pretty long.
3. The story was just focusing on the MC deepen her relationship with the ML. There is no jealousy bit*h or two faced heroine. Quite boring I may say.

this novel is such tr*sh. Usually i’m not that harsh on novels that are just meant to be fun, but this one is so dumb. Generic plot and characters that are resolved predictably and lukewarmly, sure fine whatever

but there’s a plot point that the MC falls into a coma for 5 yrs because a dog fell on her; this is dumb in general, not at all funny and just how can I take a tragic coma seriously when it was a canine based accident jfc. But then ML punishes owners... more>> of the dog and the dog, like this s*upid freak accident is anyone’s fault but the author’s bad writing.

it’s all worsened by the translator and editor adding in their s*upid and pointless commentary mid chapter. It’s unnecessary, uninteresting, and disrupts the flow. People are here to read the novel, not your “oh the male lead is so cute” “oh the villains are so mean” comments mid paragraph ffs you somehow made a sh*t novel even shittier with your juvenile antics congratulations <<less

Rather than a dramatic, intense, or suspenseful transmigration series, this is more of a slow, fluffy romance with minimal action or drama. If you're looking for anything other than fluffy romance, this is not the series for you. The plot is so weak, I couldn't even consider it to be a slice-of-life genre. There's just a weird crush the ML has on the MC, and that is essentially... the whole story.

The MC is an artificial actor in this transmigration series, and she was designed to help the protagonist. She cares... more>> only about the protagonist and disregards everyone else, even her own family or children in these other worlds. She has a few funny moments that made me smile for a moment but not enough to consider this as a comedy. It also appears that the writer doesn't care about anyone else since the side-characters have no depth and even the ML can barely be considered to have any.

The settings are not described all that well. The readers are just thrown into the plots without much explanation.

The medical details in this series make no sense. Furthermore, be prepared for NONSENSICAL plot changes! The first arc's end was abrupt and random and removed the most interesting parts of a revenge story--the actual revenge. What kind of plot actually cuts out the plot?!

Unfortunately, when the translator changes after the first arc, the writing quality drops, making it harder to comprehend what's going on, especially since the setting is in ancient China. I ended up skipping the second arc after reading the first few chapters. The translations and editing by Flying Lines have sentences that don't make sense and grammar that is cringe-worthy. That said, the meaning can usually be figured out if it takes place in a modern-day setting. When a setting in ancient China was written about like that, I gave up on trying to figure out the details of everything going on. I don't include translation quality for my reviews for series on NovelUpdates, but some people mentioned that the translations were "good" or even "amazing." I'm not sure if they got the series mixed up, are wearing rose-colored glasses, or only paid attention to the first arc. They're fine until the translator changes, but people should be forewarned if they were mislead by those reviews.

Overall, this series has a lot of bad and not much good. I don't think the quality is bad enough to drop it to two stars, but I definitely can't recommend this to anyone who actually wants to read a story with a plot. <<less

This story vibes creepy almost right away. You've got the classic oblivious FL and yandere ML, which develops pretty quickly. It's not even super extreme or anything, but somehow their student - teacher relationship in the first arc seems to make it stand out as creepier than usual. Lots of weird emphasis on how the FL smells too. When I get to those parts I'm just like, um, can we not...

ML is the "act pitiful and clingy while having super possessive thoughts" type. To be honest, I find this type... more>> a bit annoying. He's always pestering the FL for attention and questioning her feelings for him.

The only character s*upider than the FL is the system. It's like they are in a competition to see who can be more willfully oblivious and naive. Meanwhile, the ML and FL seem to compete to see who can act more like a child. The FL because she actually lacks sense and the ML because he wants to be sticky.

Then, it got really weird:

Spoiler

The ML and FL are on a pseudo date at an amus**ent park and on their way home a dog falls off a 26-story building and lands on the FL. This causes her to be in a coma for five years. Like... what? I have never been so confused. What kind of plot development is that???

The coma seems to have just been an excuse to make the FL so physically weak that the ML can carry her around and hold her all the time (not healthy). And to close the age gap. Don't ask me why it had to be caused by a falling dog. ML has been obsessively taking care of her while she was in a coma and within moments of her waking up he confesses his love and asks her to accept him.

He romances her with super sexy lines like, "While you were in a vegetative state for five years, I did all the cleaning of your body. So there is no place in teacher's body that I haven't seen." UGHHHHH! WTF ML, why?????

He doesn't seem to care for the FL's feelings at all. He forcibly kisses her, he's railroading her into marriage, and when she says she only considered him a child (you know, cuz 5 years ago when she was teaching him he WAS a child, and she literally just woke up from a coma) he acts like it was her fault he fell in love with her, that her being nice to him was seducing him and she has to take responsibility. What a gross attitude.

[collapse]

I tried to force myself to at least finish the first arc, but I just couldn't read any more. While I rarely say this, because I understand that people have different tastes in what they read, I really question the brains of people who gave this 5 stars. I mean that in the nicest way possible.

This novel might (somehow?!!) appeal to some people, I really didn't like it. I was so irritated by the time I stopped reading that I can't even give it 2 stars. <<less

As I've caught up to the English Translations I have have no clue why anyone would rate this novel as a 1 star. There are four reason why I say this;

    • Both Huntress Translations and Flying Lines did an amazing job translating this novel. They don't deserve their efforts being rated as 1 star.
    • The novel itself was very well written and the love between them was reasonable. They had to overcome problems before getting together, unlike Mary Sue ones where they instantly fall in love with each other in the first second they see each other other for the first time or in the other worlds (Arks) when they catch sight of each other.
    • Spoiler

She didn't deny that she liked him. Now this was something that I really liked in this, normally in novels like these the main character spends way too many chapters denying the poor Male Lead. So finding out that it hadn't happened in this novel was pretty refreshing.

      [collapse]
    • Last but not least, how could anyone hate Marshmallow!? He's the best system character in the whole universe novel.

Number fours joke or is it? aside, all in all I really recommend this novel as it's worth it's 5 stars I've rated it.

Okay not going to lie, Arc 1 was all fine and dandy till the MC got hit by a f*cking flying husky and ended up in a coma for five good years.

Still reading just wanted to mention how ridiculous that part was

Edit:

Okay so I managed to get through the husky incident and it's surprisingly good! The first arc doesn't really do this novel justice! It's cute, fluffy and the main couple fit well together.

Not much face slapping though so if that's what your looking for it's not for you

This story has an interesting spin on the usual quick transmigration stories. However, I don't necessarily think that it is a recipe for success. I'm currently on the third arc and so far it's better than the first two. The first arc was not very well executed. It's like there was no face slapping in the first arc, and the so-called plot twist was just so freaking dumb. The second arc is the usual transmigration theme, but again, not executed very well. It's like the ML did absolutely nothing in... more>> the arc...

The story is not very well written. It feels like it's catered towards teenagers with how it is... <<less

MC is too naive and her low EQ is just really not fun to read about. ML is boring. I didn't finish the first arc. It just seemed to drag on and on about their daily life where nothing happens, and then I decide to skip a few chaps because it's painful and then MC is in a coma for 5 years?? Obviously the pacing could do with some work.

drama starts at the end lol and you'll see how forced it is making you feel the author just put it there to say the story has content.

then this one is for you. However if you are looking for something kinda serious then don't even dare read this. It's waste of time. It was good but I wanted at least some more events where the story just didn't revolve around the two protagonists.

Yes, the story revolve only around them, not much side character that can intervene them, to the point it made the story kinda mehhh.. Boring. One thing that made me baffled was
Spoiler

when female lead got comatose bc some husky fell from the building and she got hit of it in the head lmao.

[collapse]
And I hated how after that, the events were fast forward (literally fast) that the author rushed the ending because she got bored too or either lost inspiration to continue the story.

PS.

If you were asking why I read this it's because I found it when I was searching for male yandere and it has the tag and eople rated this so high I got tempted reading it but to my dismay this isn't just the right story for me. This is a story good for teens or hopeless romantics. <<less

If you want something cute and with good endings, read this. It's got an MC who is naive and a bit dumb, but she has a good heart and takes her missions seriously, an ML who isn't too overbearing and loves the MC very much, and a system that is easy to ignore.

If you've read the reviews complaining about the husky falling incident, then yeah, that sh*t was both unexpected and made me think about dropping the novel because of how D-U-M-B that incident was. But it's only for a... more>> chapter and afterwards we get some sweet loving in the final chapters for that arc. Also in the later arc (I only got to the second arc) no other huskies were harmed in the making of this novel.

Overall.... it's a novel which I wouldn't put too much expectations into and would read if I want to have a fuzzy feeling in my chest. But for those who can't stand cringe, please be aware that there is some healthy amount of cringe instigated between the MC and ML (it's not too bad but also.....). Anyways it's interesting enough to keep you reading but boring enough to keep you from binging. <<less

Another good QT novels~!

It has been 5 arcs in the translation so far and those arcs are really good--funny, to be precise.

MC is funny. She likes to make herself look righteous and brag about it but still has a hole in the process, making it kinda cute instead. She's kind but not that type of mary sue, actually I think she only has ML in her eyes, not only because of task but she really wants to help him and gradually falls for him--mostly because of his good looks. In... more>> regards of awareness, she's a bit dense at first, but I think after some arcs she's become more aware of ML's feeling towards her, just confused of wth all the ML always end up chasing her lol.

As for the ML, except from the first arc, I think he's rather cute in later arcs--especially the 3rd arc, it's my favorite arc, he's so cute in there lol

System is also lovable, kinda cute actually, I found it more like MC's pet.

In general, this novel is full of cuteness and fluffiness, it also light and funny with only less than 30 chapters on each arc. It's a worth read. <<less

Honestly, this novel had potential but the 2nd last arcs were cut short.

The interactions are cute and fluff.

FL is a good person. She isn't mean and stuff. She does her missions well, she complains to the system but it was friendly banter.

ML isn't like those cold wood MLs. He's gentle and caring in every world. He pretty much received help from the FL in every arc. Then he becomes the over lord.

Before all this stuff happened:

Spoiler

So heaven and earth was created. Chaos happened. Since I read it in MtL I am lost about it so I can't explain it. Its just there was wars in heaven and earth. The ancient gods kept killing each other. Then we have FL, A zhao, she is the ninth god who is loved by law and ML, Chong Li, is the owner of stars. So they met and fall in love. They had marshmallow (gasp! Its the system!!). When marshmallow was too young to remember, Chong Li had to go to war and help. He left the mother and son for hundreds of years until A zhao was forced to leave her son under the tree of life. She left him and went to rescue Chong Li. Im probably going to get this part wrong since I mtl, but I hope I get it correct. So when she got there, I think she succeed but it paid a price on rescuing ML since the heaven wanted him dead or something. Since she had an artifact, it stabilized her soul. She had to go to different worlds to regain her str and help end the chaos. ML and some guy from reincarnation department sent marshmallow to go accompany her since he was still young. She doesn't remember anything or anyone. Not even her own child.

They reunited when they finished their last world together.

The arc that made me cry

Spoiler

FL was the female emperor and ML was a prince who was thrown to the enemy kingdom. FL has a twin sister who liked ML but FL took him before she could say anything. ML had past life memories. In the past, twin sis got him and humiliated him in every way. He left with permission but never came back and became the emperor of his own country. He took revenge and united the kingdoms (?). Now in present, Ah zhao took over the female emperor's body and took him to her harem. They were together for 2 yrs. Her mission is to prevent him to blackening. So she gave him respect, gifts and companionship. They fell in love with each other but ML decided to leave and betray her. They met when he was at the borders and saw FL. They said farewells and stuff and she was shot by an arrow from protecting ML. That was when A zhao's heart died. He left her palace and became the emperor of his own. Now they meet again and tried to beg for forgiveness. She doesn't and he started crying. He wants to be together again but they can't because he's a traitor now and an emperor. Fast forward, she marries a man whose fiance died. They had a deal between them. ML was shook and went to the palace and begged for forgiveness again which she did forgive him and that was the last time they talked. They were to meet every winter but FLs body suddenly detoriates. It was a rare disease and Before he could even get to say good bye, he heard the palace bells which indicated the monarch died. He found out the deal between FL and her current husband. His old illness was acting up and so he raised heirs from his clan before he died. He died at the age of 40. The line that got me was "Forty years of his life, the time of true happiness and happiness, only the two years of the palace." *silent crying*

[collapse]

The arcs that had potential

Spoiler

newcomer actress x the 2nd uncle. The main antagonist in the story is a jealous person who wanted to destroy FL for taking uP LY's attention (just a boss in the story). When the cannon fodder realized she's been used by the antagonist, she laughs and realizes all the knives she delivered for her. This was a goooood arc. After that, the story fast forwarded and the FL and ML died together in their gray hairs.

[collapse]

I'm like (??????) I want to know what happened to the antagonist???? You can't leave me hanging here : (there was no exposing moment ;-;
++

The last good arc that could've been expanded

Spoiler

a princess who lost her memory and the vampires king. Princess was human trafficked and had no memories (no system too). FL was sold to the vampires and met ML. They went back to her kingdom under church's, fake fiance and the knights persuasion. FL also wanted to see what was her fam was like and boy it was disappointing. Her queen mom only worries about her position and riches. Her selfish smart HEIR older sister wants to give up her princess life to marry a commoner. The past princess was timid and shy which led to emotional neglect from her dad, mom and sister. At the end, FL and ML married. ML transformed FL to a vampire. They ate these lights (imagine tribulation) and regained their god memories and entered a void and disappeared. Reunited with their marshmallow

[collapse]

I really wanted to see them fall into ruin. Im starting to realize I have fallen to darkness. The "antagonists" are basically fleeing cannon fodders. They're just there to improve their relationships. There are some arcs that had none which is still good nonetheless.
Spoiler

since marshmallow is her child, it was baffling to realize that he basically watched his own parents do it and have their own children and then they don't remember him.

[collapse]

Marshmallow gets his own arc and it was super cute.

Do I reccomend? Yeee. Its pretty long but its worth it. I personally don't like doomsday arcs so iskipped them :). <<less

This story is quite unique, in terms of plot. We have plots like revenge against the main CP, fighting as the cannonfodder, fight to survive type of system missions and etc. Here we have a plot that has mission to HELP the ML or the protagonist to achieve his goal in life.

Different I say, but since this is a jumping-worlds-mission-system genre I predict that as always... there will be a character for our MC who will chase her all over the place, throwing premium dog food to us readers. So... more>> I might give it a different rating as it progresses on, but...

It's light read and each arc lasts for about 35 chapters in the raw version. The beginning arcs are worth 4 stars with MC being more accepting of her romance with ML with every passing arc. If I'm not wrong I read the first 15 arcs without skipping any chapters. The ML is the same for each arc, I mean he does not have memories of his previous worlds, but the soul that resides in the body is the same.

Spoiler

I did not really read the ending arc, but I read the epilogue. MC and ML are godly beings, Marshmallow (the system) is their son. When Marshmallow is around 150 years old (if I remember correctly) MC and ML decided to go world hopping again just to spend their days in an interesting manner.

[collapse]

The only problem I had when reading is when there's too many arcs and the arcs are not really unique. It becomes somehow repetitive. Overall, I would suggest skipping the arcs you don't like so you won't get tired of reading the whole story. To be honest, I decided to drop this one because it's too long and I notice that I end up skipping a lot of chapters because I'm getting bored.

I feel this novel is a very light read and has a lot of fluff so you don't get tired. And after a few arcs the personality of ML changes a few times but he is still as sweet as ever. There is also so much humor in just about every part of the story.
