Tbh, the only thing I liked about tye story was how the MC was not portrayed as 'good but not as good as the ML'. The MC is even shown to be more capable than the ML when it comes to computer skills. That part was quite refreshing.

But not a fan of the story in general. The face slapping moments though fun were quite repetitive and got old very quick. I came for something like HM but got fed mouthfulls of apocalypse and doomsday stuff.???

To be honest, I started reading for the face-slaps, though I've read so many face-slap novels it was kind of unsatisfying and predictable. Too many scheming lotus-faces one after another. I found the beginning generic (and the plot boring), and I despised all the characters; literally everyone except MC has something wrong with them. Especially ML?! I was hoping he wasn't ML for the first hundred chapters because he's EQ is negative. He doesn't give a damn about anything to the point he's aloof and taken advantaged of, but he どえsん't EVEN CARE he's being taken advantaged of. He brainlessly goes with the flow even though he's supposed to be a cold and calculating guy. At the beginning you will definitely hate him. It wasn't until like chapter 230 something that I started liking him. In the first place, I don't really like divorced people getting back together esp. if it was a loveless and mutual decision so I definitely wasn't rooting for him. As for all the characters they are so 2D. Everyone is dumb - good or bad (I didn't even like Lin Lin, I got a 3 yo baby bro and Lin Lin is nothing like him. He's expected to be wise beyond his years, so unrealistic). I feel like author felt the need to write them in such a way that they were nothing so that MC could outshine everyone, even though her number-one-hacker-FL-halo is already way too OP. But she's well developed and rounded with a mysterious past and her attitude towards herself and everyone is strong, fair, and ruthless so I like her. She's a dignified queen -

Spoiler

especially when her memory implanted into Xia Meng and proved quiet confidence was everything.

[collapse]

It's the first for me to read an MC leave out of her own volition because she cared about her own well-being. She's upright and values herself - doesn't want pity from ML, or ML's family, or her own family and friends. I mean if someone offered me a one hundred-million-dollar cheque that actually legally belonged to me, I would have just taken it lmao. I liked how MC became a new person/reverted to her old self, not because of reincarnation/transmigration - a plot too easy and common, but rather because she regained her pre-amnesia self. She's also intelligent - not just the show-off-y way where she schemes against people, but her passive yet manipulative speech when talking to people reminded me of some irl criminal interrogations.

Spoiler

When she was captured by FS and said "if you have suspicion in your heart, then every truth I say will sound like a lie" that really hit me.

[collapse]

Refreshing.

I do think the first hundred chapters or so is worth skimming over unless you live for the endless face-slapping. But the arc where MC meets Xia Meng... that's some Illuminati shenanigans there. Made me think of the Harry Potter 3rd movie where Harry saves his past self from the dementors. I totally didn't expect that sci-fi twist and the plot kept on getting more and more complicated and interesting from what originally a novel I thought was going to be about how FL face-slaps her way to glory and falls in love with ML. The change was quite nice, and definitely unique. Also she starts genuinely reciprocating his feelings ish around chapter 700 lol...

It's an interesting mix of modern-day-romance-sci-fi-drama-mystery with countless plot twists and conspiracies.

I'd personally rate it 3 stars, as it's not on par with my favourite novels, but it's unique and worth a shot.

The moment when I reached the part where her soul swaped to another body or something, that's when I drew my line. I mean this premonition thingy just because she has brain tumour is already over-the-top which I commonly saw in cheap soap-opera drama. Yeah right, this novel is extremely dramatic. So I decided to drop before I wasted my time more and read the spoiler which is a blessing. Cause what I really hate in most novels are nonsense plotline, strayed from original plot, filler chapters, excessive characters.

Talk about... more>> excessive characters, throughout reading this, I kept wondering (always) if.. is there any antagonist in real life that was over-exagerrated like those in this novel? Those antagonists have same characteristic which I can't differentiate between each antagonists, I almost convinced they are all clones! They only thing they do is hate too much that makes them mad and they're 1D. *shakes-head. What are they? A robot without any other emotions than wrath? I know, this is a common trope, should not asked.. I just tired of it.

Romance?? Nah, although I really like MC's indifference toward ML and I really want to read their progress more, but what can I do, she has swapped to another body... Hurray, I was at lost, another arc has begun.

I don't know what happen next, and I don't plan to continue. For me, it's ended before she swapped to another body. The rest, I depend on spoiler which save my time. <<less

Uh... What?

I came here to read some similar stories as Hidden Marriage.

First, the story didn't have a break time such as the time MC finally met her son. No, it didn't tell the moment they talk.

Second, I never thought the story turned into artificial body and galaxy!

I need another fluffy childcare moment, not a sci-fi. Anyway, thank u for the translator whose work hard to translate it.

Just weird AF. I read and kept getting baffled by how we shifted from earth to space to other bull scenarios. Like reading it at the beginning was fine but the more chapters I read, the more uncomfortable I felt, cant really describe it. Though I did enjoy the beginning chapters, of how the MC was good at tech, computers, hacking, but then it just got weird. I say weird many times, but just keep reading, or look at some spoilers and you will see where I am coming from.

ML was not there for MC when she needed him and divorced her without any feelings as if it's not divorce but roommate vacating a room.

I find it disgusting that they only look at her usefulness. They don't even let MC see her son after divorce and ML doesn't even care about it, always thinking MC doesn't want see her son.

hi. it's MiRA!

this novel is... well I think I'm being generous with the rating, to be honest. there are nine-hundred-and-ninety-two chapters. that's practically a thousand chapters, and it's ridiculous. don't be fooled by the title, there is no spoiling whatsoever in this book, it's mostly Xia Xinghe doing whatever the h*ll she feels like, leaving us normal citizens absolutely mind-f*cked. The first two-hundred-ish chapters are basically Xia Xinghe's "mommy fuel" where she's propelled to do all this sh*t just for her baby boy Lin Lin, whose existence is a variable,... more>> like x in your everyday math problem.

then like from there to chappy five-hundred, it's face-slapping and rescuing the Xi fam, her ex-in-laws. like if there's an evil plot to be made, then these dumb-f*ck antagonists have done it. at what point will stop the tomfoolery and get your sh*t together?? I got news muchachos, never happens. an earlier reviewer said, and I quote, "This story was going great, up until I realized it was written by a toddler" (@Fictionaddiction). yikes. unfortunately, it is an extremely accurate analysis of this sh*tstorm of a novel. for whoever that actually paid to read this on Webnovel, ouch.

I'll admit, I'm stubborn, which is why I often find myself in these sh*tstorms, but for the love of God, if you have any self-respect, don't click on it. don't pay for the Webnovel version. release yourself from these earthly constraints and run. from chapter five-hundred-so to the end, it's basically a free-for-all of "if ya got guns ya better shoot" AT THE PROTAGONIST that has been UNDEFEATED this whole d*mn time.

bored 911 call receiver-- "911, what's your emergency?"

me, as I frantically type out this review-- "I got a bunch of dumb b*tchs that are armed coming for the plotline. whatcha gonna do?"

911 call receiver whos done with my sh*t-- "ma'am you have the wrong number, " *call ends*

istg, why do authors create such idiots for the sake of the protagonists? as an author, should you not create each character with a set of morals, ambitions, and a bottom line? because this book definitely ventured on that 'untouchable' territory. but for some, they come for the face-slapping and that's why they stay. for me, it's because my compulsive OCD will not let me rest till I finish. also, so I can let potential readers know and understand my opinions <3.

xoxo, MiRA

It really isn't a good, exciting read; It is simply the union of several badly made short arches without foundation, it eliminates characters that usually receive more weight to the protagonists (their son) does not give enough emotional weight, nor does it create a wide panorama of each character. Enemies appear in each arc and the way to eliminate them is too simple not to say strange, supposedly everything is solved with their computer skills, the end is bad, obvious the existence of their son, create a daughter and leave... more>> all the tangle of problems for her see how to survive the imminent threat of the end of the world... I am giving this a 2 star, because although at first it was going great, around chapter 400-ish, it started going downhill and weird. I didn't think it was going to be that kind of sci-fi... it was very strange and disappointing.

FL and ML both have a child, but it seems as if they don't see their child at all even though they express how much they love him. This just got suuuper weird when they started talking about outer space and stuff like that. Plus it's like all villains/villainess... more>> in the story are dumb af with a recycled script.

Idk, I guess if you like sci-fi you might like this, but hard pass from me. I couldn't stand it anymore and dropped it. <<less

I can understand why some people would not like this. If you can't stand stories that seem illogical and with that too "oh so perfect" solution happening all the time, you will hate this story. HATE it!

The content seems like a slap dash mash up of a bunch of things: hacking, world destruction, body swapping, and so much more. It sounds like a total joke of a novel. I usually can't stand stories like this but the humor and romance in it allows me to over look this defect. I... more>> can even over look the constant villain recycling.

If you can ignore the improbabilities of the story and suspend your disbelief, then I think you too will enjoy the story. If not just walk away, don't waste your time.

It's very soap opera-ish. It's got fun dialogue, face slapping, and a great romance. MML is just too wonderful. Seriously, the romance is a tease that has a slow build up then just wantonly inserts itself all over the story. It's great! I whole-heartedly recommend this.

Not sure when things start to really get fun, as before I got hooked I was only reading it off and on thinking it was pretty s*upid, but hey I needed the daily points on Qidin so... I think it must have been in the 200 chapter area (don't despair, chapters are short).

Anyways enjoy! <<less

Well, all I can say is that the beginning arcs are good. But then when the story suddenly moves to apocalyse bla bla bla arc it becomes a bit weird for my appetite. I understand it was fictional and all, but when it comes to when MC searching her mother and meets her, her mom kinda transform to be inhuman being. Just too weird in transition from modern day story to sci-fi

I really like this novel! The drama doesn't drag on and on forever like Hidden Marriage, things in the novel gets solve fast. Also the MC isn't one to take be taken advantage of, mess with her and you'll get karma times 1000! I hope that we get to see more mother and son bond though!

Actually, this is not bad although the title didn't least a bit represent the story (and a bit cringy on top of that) because in fact:

MC is an OP character and didn't need ML to spoil her. Of course ML loved MC unconditionally and ready to pamper her anytime but the title suggested that it's MC who wanted to be spoiled where in fact it's the othey way around.

I'm here for face slapping moment and this novel surely didn't disappoint me although:

Spoiler

The canon fodders in this novel were all basically brainless, hysterical, and self-deluding. Even the "clever" ones suddenly became dumb in front of MC.

[collapse]

There are many things in this novel that didn't make sense and sometimes it made me question my own intelligence but then again it's sci fi novel after all. Anything could happen in it.

Of course this story is not perfect. There are also many points that make me disappointed, like:

Spoiler
  • ML's sudden interest towards MC after she gained her memories. To be fair, ML didn't treat MC badly during their first marriage but he also didn't care about her enough. He failed to notice that his family and his childhood friend bullied her thorough their marriage and they even forced her to divorce him.
  • Lin Lin's lack of appearance and MC's attitude towards him. Around chapter 200++, MC made a bet with Old Madam Xi that she will make her a perfect artificial arm in exchange of Lin Lin's custody. She achieved it of course but when ML intended to hand Lin Lin over her, she suddenly didn't want the custody anymore and left Lin Lin to Xi family's care. She also barely had any interaction with Lin Lin thorough the story because she was too busy to save the world (and face slap her enemy of course).
  • The final boss background story. Until the end of the story, the author didn't reveal the final boss identity and his motive to destroy the world. Also, why was Lylian (the final boss mother) mu*dered back then and who was the killer?

A story of two modern OP people who are socially awkward and yet still able to make it in the business world and find time for romance. A bland story with arrogant characters that may or may not be passable for some. Honey Stewed Squid makes a better read.

This is one heck of a lengthy novel with over the top plot development. Its storyline is literally like how one heroine conquered the world. Of course, I do appreciate the fact that the author was able to create such imaginative scenarios and conspiracies. For one, although the FL was portrayed as genius among all geniuses with an almost perfect character, it was somehow not unfounded unlike other typical FLs since her background can back it up. Although it’s still overrated and one can’t help but question if everything can... more>> really be achieved through her underlying knowledge, given that some matters are not directly related to her scope. I guess the concept is that it can only be attributed to her fate and all those connections seemed to be already written in the stars.

The same way, the ML is still the archetypal cold, rich and intelligent guy. One thing I also like about this novel is that the FL is not head over heels in love with the ML but she gradually developed her feelings for him. It’s nice to see her being so rational and stoic that it’s always the ML who pursued her though he’s actually quite pitiable sometimes. I love how he is very supportive of her and how he always gives in to her decisions. They have my ideal type of relationship, wherein they have the same wavelength and even with unspoken words they still understand each other very well, they don’t wish for the other to change to suit their taste nor do they try control other’s life but instead, they become one another’s pillar to assist in their growth as a person. Given their kind pf relationship, I’m not quite sure if the title ‘Mr. CEO, Spoil me 100 Percent’ is really suitable for this novel.

As expected from the classic protagonists, everything always seemed to work on their favour so they are forever unbeatable. Nevertheless, I do enjoy the face slapping their enemies get to the experience each time despite all the schemes plotted against them. Moreover, I was actually skeptic with all the sci-fi additions to the plot though at least it still stuck with scientific matters and did not jump into fantasy. One thing I would have liked to read more is about the FL’s interaction with XL and XW since her goals were actually aligned with these two but they only had minimal scenes together. All in all, I don’t this one is a very memorable novel but it’s still fair enough to make me finish it despite the length since it piqued my curiosity. <<less

What I like about this novel is how the writer could write this tactfully without dilly dally. Although the story is lack romance, unlike how initially the story start.

It is a fast paced plot so you won't get bored. And one thing led to another overall it's not your common adventure. If you are enjoying sci-fi then you won't mind how this story evolved. But if you want to read fluffy romance without the sci-fi then this is not for you. Thankfully I have broad preference when it comes to... more>> novel so I very much enjoying it. <<less

There is a bit of what I would describe as a genre change in the middle of the book, if goes from kind of normal second chance romance to sci-fi/military/spacey/secret organisation vibes. But I don't hate it. The shift made me like the story even more, however I just wish there was more indication that it was coming in the start of the book. I can see how this could be jarring for readers.

stick to your own preferred genre.

althought there is a general plot throughout the novel, some archs is not presented as a necessity, more like the author trying to expand the genre but the foundation is not well established.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE ORDINARY COVER!!!! IT ISN'T! Also, just bec. it has minimal romance (it's CALLED SLOW-PACED) don't rate it LOW. This story DOESN'T DESERVE THE UNJUST RATING. It's quite amazing and IMO, it's plot is cohesive, way better than other romance stories because it doesn't get draggy as Hidden Marriage, like others said. The arcs are properly distributed and the universe is well-explained. But what got me the most is the story's leading couple... that THEY WERE EQUALS. Sure, we've seen a lot of power couples but... more>> this one, the ML doesn't have qualms about the girl being the more capable and talented. In other romance, the ML is the secret power behind that assists the MC's face slapping but here, he sits back and trusts the MC to handle it all because she could totally do it on her own. Only when she ALLOWS the ML to support her, then a partnership of kickassery happens. Amazing #character progression for the MC. You'd think she's already the genius of all geniuses but it keeps getting good. It also touches not just on the character alone but it brings to light the passing forward of one generation to another, The unrelenting human survival and hope.

There's #sci-fi, #romance, #action, #adventure, #quasi-transmigration and most of all that awesome #face slapping. The face slapping is not overdone. For me, it's balanced and satisfying. The face slapping process are genius. MC is way above catfights but she uses her brains & talent to speak for itself. She's a great debater too. The author makes sure that each and everyone gets faceslapped magnificently *cackles.

Less one star bec the transition of simple face slap romance to sci-fi space war is awkward and the original purpose of getting together with the ceo along with the bun is put aside. Perhaps this is the one point hidden marriage is better at, thus this story failed its climactic ending <<less
