I remember reading this in between some slightly longer rebirth novels.

The mystery of her family and the royal family kept me going. Some villains took forever to die but to be honest, they essentially ruined themselves. A few love interests of the FL kept appearing I was so scared they'd do something or be used to ruin the main ship but they're all so supportive. I'm glad they ended up being happy too ?

Overall, it was a pretty normal read for me especially after one that made me cry waterfalls (malicious empress of military lineage). It gave me the romance I needed, not too fast but not and achingly slow burn either.

Honestly, it was pretty average. And what annoyed me the most to lower my scores was how selfish the FL was. She kept pushing her... sorry to say, s*upid mother towards that father who says he loves her mother but is cozy with her sister all the time. I mean, if she was a resolute woman, that understood that she had to use the situation for her benefit and didn't invest any feelings ok. But she's so moopey. And what the hell... she says she identifies with her mother and... more>> still forces her to go back to the man she hates while she takes vengeance on the one she herself hates...

Latest chap is c3.

Looks promising enough. It sounds like your normal trope of rebirth-revenge story, with hateful villains. The cliffhanger at the current chap makes me want to know what's next. I decided to peek at the raws, it seems really interesting.

I wonder how the story would turn out.

As soon as I read the part where the Fo wanted her mother to go back to her father instead of letting her divorce and marry a man who loved her and only took her (mother) as his wife, I have nothing against the father, but... seeing the interaction of the concubine and the father, I would say that he did not love his wife, and if he did, it was only when they just met, but I think it is unfair to let the mother of FL keep him... more>> Dad, who loves anyone, even if he is a good father, I hate reading the parts where he gives affection to the concubine <<less

The Rebirth of the Spoiled Crown Princess is pretty average to me compared to the previous rebirth novel that I've read. I just don't like how her father's insensitiveness toward's her mother and the FL's selfishness to persuade her mother towards her father when he thought of

I've read up till chapter 253 and the FL still tolerates her father's licentious acts and even pushes her mother to forgive him and get together with him again and again it's disgusting. He's so easily swayed, first her sister then a divorced cousin from nowhere who even has a son already, the man is the definition of an ancient stud horse. The worst part is how he's a general but is always being played by a concubine and hateful family members. I would understand if the FL encourages her... more>> mother to use emotions to trap him instead of this nonsense.

I've read alot of rebirth type novels like this and this is the first I've seen that the FL can time and time again let her weak mother keep getting hurt by her as*hole husband in the name of "oh he still has her mother and herself in his heart". What utter bullshit. <<less

The novel seems promising, but I already don't like MC, and author is trying to play the MC's dad as a sympathetic person, but I just think he's tr*sh. Soz. Also the first translation becomes pretty well unreadable after about chapter 7 and the MC isn't compelling enough for me to MTL

I don't get why people keep blaming the girl. If she doesn't allow her mother to go back to father what is the point. It is only giving the illegitimate son an opportunity. This is ancient time where if a woman divorce it will leave a bad reputation for the daughters. Her mother cannot beat her father so she has to join them. No woman really ends well without her husband favor then especially when she doesn't have a son.

The FL is supposed to be a reborn lady wise enough to have made her past husband an emperor but she can barely contend with her half sister who s 12 and younger than her in this reborn life... I kept up with the story for awhile but can’t bring myself to like any of the characters. The dad of the FL is a tr*shy h**ny dog, wanting to do all the woman he meets. Pretends to be in love with the FL’s mom but his love is cheaper than... more>> dirt. The mom’s female lead is a weak and annoying woman, knowing people wants to harm her but not doing anything about it. I know it’s probably representative of the period but still... in 240 chapters there are no evolution... The FL is far from being smart, is weak and selfish, her character is also annoying. The ML is alright, he is reliable but that’s about it. In all, it feels the author didn’t put much thought in the characters or the story... gave 2 pts for the translator work and some of plot is not too bad but not sure I will finish. <<less
