If you don't read this novel, you'll deeply regret. So go ahead and read it.

But I will warn you, once you started reading it, you'll not be able to stop until you read the whole story. So read it when you have some time. The translation is good, so you can understand it without any worries.

Now I will give you some spoilers, so if you don't want to get spoil, stop here.

The MC=ZYS is a hacker, who got trapped in the virtual world by the lord god which is the queen, we will learn about it later in the novel.

ZYS played the villain role for many years in that virtual world, dying each time badly, but then he somehow (I'm not going to explain how, you'll know when you read) broke shackles of the lord god or queen. Then started counterattacking by going through different world, changing his body's (the body he was occupying in that current world) destiny and face slapping the protagonist (most satisfied face slapping ever, I tell you. The level is so high, that you'll not like other face slapping anymore after reading it).

2) The world building is very good, you can totally picture the details and what is going on. Each ARC is specific and special, with its own story. You'll have your favourite ARC after reading this. Mine is the omegaverse, the ML is super jealous in that ARC. Lol?

Well you are in luck. Every. Single. Arc. In this story is unique and very powerful. Though you may have your favorites and dislikes. You can not say anything bad about any of them. Every arc is new and exciting and interesting. As well as the mystery as to who and where the ML is.

I really like novels with this kind of plot (even more when is yaoi). The plot is what attracted me to this novel in the first place but I found myself at the ending caring about the MC and ML romance story more than the plot (even through the plot remained consistent and well placed).

This is one of the most addicting novels I have read so far. I love the interation the MC and the ML have in the different worlds and how MC only belongs to the ml. The arc I liked the most was the apocalypse one where the MC only found out about the ML when he leaves the world. This scene was a trip to the feels. I also liked the side characters in some arcs and wishes they would've been in the other worlds with MC and ml.

If you love yaoi novels, give this one a try. You will not be disappointed. I’ve read hundreds of yaoi novels/mangas etc and this is one of my all time favourites. The plot is something new with different arcs every few chapters and the ML is possessive and op which is always a huge bonus. And for once we have an actual smart MC that can think for himself. 10/10 read.

This novel is simply too amazing. It never bore me at all, instead it keeps on giving surprises like its my birthday each ark. Each arc has it's own charm and its just so good I kept wanting more. Though for each passing arc it reminds me of how closer I am to the end. I hate that this novel has to end but I'm so happy to actually find a book I could go back to. This is awesome. This is the reason why I became obsessed with quick transmigration novels. I lost count of how many times I've read this.

The MC is cool and cunning, seductive and knows how to play his game. He also got the biggest golden finger of all, the system at his beck and call.

When I first read this novel, I was sooo tired of all the drama and tribulations that make all MCs in almost every webnovel I read suffer. This was a very refreshing breath of fresh air that... more>> time. I got so hooked that I abandoned xianxia for the longest time and just read and read quick transmigration novels.

This is more of a light read novel that mainly face-slaps green tea b*tches, in the most satisfying way that gratifies the inner devil in me.

Do not read if you are totally against OP MC faceslapping green tea b*tches all around while MC acting like a white lotus, getting everyone's sympathy.

It's just that I wanted the MC to have that default white lotus halo (ahem, green tea bit*h halo) that almost all villainess seem to have in the rebirth-revenge stories I've read befibe this. And my wish came true with QWTFOD. <<less

I put off reading this one for awhile (figured it was overrated), but I bit the bullet and ended up really enjoying it. The translation was excellent, and a lot of the story arcs kept me engaged.

Which arcs were my favorite? Probably #3, 4, 7, 9, 14, and 15. I really loved #3, #7, and 15 -- I mostly because I love historical stories and the MC really turn things around in some interesting ways. Arc #9 was beautiful but wonderful in its tragedy, and #14 had a compelling "love... more>> rival" (note the quotes) and story. Some of the other arcs did lag far too long -- arcs #6 and #8 were just slogs to go through. I agree with other readers that the ending was pretty anticlimatic. After a lot of the heights of the previous arcs, it was rather banal.

Is the MC too OP? Well, yes. There's a sort of in-universe reason for it, however, and it does work here. MC might be OP, but it's fun to watch him twist a number of overdone tropes and love scenarios and just screw over the main villain. ML can be a bit one-dimensional, but not egregiously so.

Overall, a fine read. <<less

I enjoyed QFOD but its honest strengths come from its premise; the execution is lacking. QFOD has its ups and downs and is a decent long read. It's good for a BL novel but painfully mediocre in typical standards. Arcs do tend to follow a really repetitive pattern despite the different settings. If anything I attribute QFOD's popularity on its premise and the great quality of the translations, especially since kez worked really hard on putting out an entire arc on a timely schedule. Synopsis (slight spoilers)

QFOD was the first quick canon-fodder transmigration/face-slapping sort of novel I read, and I was absolutely drawn in by the idea. However, after looking at a dozen other similar set-ups on this site I'd say QFOD in this regard pulls it off okay. Like not horrible but not great either.

Every arc's basic set-up: MC is a canon fodder, main characters are laughably s*upid/evil to the point where you'd question how they're the main characters in the first place, some arc occurs where MC performs some OP acts and ends up dominating the plotline. Somewhere along the way he finds the ML (who's almost always OP as well) and they get together. Only exceptions to this are arcs 9 and 13, I think.

Many arcs include an enormous infodump and lots of extraneous details that can be cut out. The writing style is passable but just that.

Plot (mini-review for each arc)

Arc 1 - some businessman arc that's really boring 0/5

Arc 2- an autistic painter x a hot single dad. I liked the persona MC got to take on in this one, especially when the ML falls head over heels once he realizes he's 'misunderstood' MC. 5/5

Arc 3 - emperor x court official. Average. 3/5

Arc 4- sugar daddy. Liked the way MC kicked the main characters' asses by severe guilt-trip and ends up guilt-tripping his wannabe sugar daddy (ML) too. Also realizes the ML is the same guy in this arc. 5/5

Arc 5- pseudo ABO (Gers or something?) ML falls in love for his cooking or something. 1/5

Arc 6- straight-up inserts kelly clarkson/adele lyrics and then MC gets praised for his musical prowess? Absolutely cringe. 0/5

Arc 7 - really liked this one; ML is a mystery for once. ABO consort AU. 5/5

Arc 8- top model tv show au- fun to read but sort of drags. 4/5

Arc 9 - Zombie apocalypse- adored the tragic aspects and one of the only arcs where MC has to actually struggle. 5/5

Arc 10- God au - can get rather over the top but I loved the split personality mini-arc and the God set-up. 3/5 (but a 5/5 for me personally)

Arc 11- ABO space au-tried to switch it up with different faces but was kinda meh for me. 2/5

Arc 12- xianxia arc - a 2nd one with high stakes. I'm a sucker for xianxia and had some pretty cool scenes. 4/5

Arc 13- transmigration/redo arc- not bad overall but the fact that he arranged people to r*pe a woman for revenge kinda turned me off. 2/5

Arc 14- piano/twins arc- liked the other male rival. Female villain was memorable as well. 3/5

Arc 15- emperor gets cucked- liked that ML had to repress his urges around MC. 3/5

Arc 16/Real World- absolutely horrible? Was expecting something different since it's the 'real world' but it played out exactly like a typical arc, not to mention being really boring. Kinda left the series off on a sour note for me. 0/5

Characters

I like Zhou Yun Sheng's confidence and sassiness, but sometimes it gets simply unbearable how OP he is and how easily he can win people over. He hardly develops over the course of the story, has no character flaws meant to be actual character flaws that get in his way.

ML in some arcs is alright, but for the most part he's incredibly flat, one-note, and dedicated to MC from varying reasons, some of them make sense, others more like love at first sight.

As the series progresses their relationship dynamic is rather stale. They never truly argue or even have definable personalities besides being a 'power couple' and being really h**ny for one another. <<less

I don't write reviews that often, but I wanted to give this book the 5* it deserves. Every arc gets better and better; I kept saying, "This one is by far my favorite" every time I finish a chapter (arc). It's really enjoyable to read tooㅡ with the perfect amount of angst and humor, and with great characters (Ivana!!) and the protagonists-turned-antagonists stories.

I absolutely love this novel. It's easy reading & with a lot of interesting stuff. Also I like when novel has a lot of themes & genres and so on (basically you have modern era, ancient, supernatural etc..). But if you want read something with deeper meaning & evolving characters this is not what you should choose. Still I enjoyed this.

The novel is great. I totally love it. The MC and ML are lovable.

The MC travels in different stories/arc, his goal was to change the ending of his character as retaliation to the "God" who imprison him in the system. During his travel he met the ML who became his "Immortal Lover". The love between these two are adorable.

The arcs are wonderful there are heartbreaking ending. I want to re-read it again.

I find it funny that most people hate that MC was OP. They forgot that MC was initially a villain bounded by the system and was powerless. His thousand world experience made him strong to break from the system and now he taking his revenge. <<less

My first experience with "fast wear" type multiple-realms/reincarnations story. I am still hooked on this genre! I love the idea of seeing the same MC experience different scenarios. Each arc is like a mini-story. Just realized the name should be Quick Transmigrations: Face-Slapping Devil (or similar).

I love how clever/OP/shameless the MC is. To me, the MC is one of the best parts of the novel. He's totally confident, successful, and knows exactly what he wants and how to get it. It's refreshing to have a strong MC who is unafraid... more>> of using all his advantages to manipulate everything towards the desired outcomes.

The ML is pretty standard fare: tall, physically fit, wealthy, powerful, possessive/stalkerish. But the MC can totally stand his ground so the relationship is pretty cute!

I took off a star because the characters other than the MC and ML do get a little repetitive.

There is very little in terms of redeemable side-characters. Pretty much every 'protagonist' that the MC beats in every world were secretly evil. While the novel's premise revolves around revenge, it would have been nice to see the formula changed up a bit; or at least the main antagonists changed up a bit.

In memory of this novel,

This novel was the first one in my list of ever growing yaoi - transmigrated to another world who introduce me to this kind of plot. The comedy is delicious, the revenge is good as well, the chemistry been the two main characters hmmmm "delicious~ <3 " *insert chef making the famous delicious gesture*

Can't describe it anymore, but I am just purely thankful for this novel and the translator who translated this.

In fact, I wished there was more, but at the same time I glad... more>> that it ended, or we will end up having this 'Bleach (manga) ' moment where it was so popular that people demanded to continue but ended up risking the plot & character development all together. So Amen to the author.

For the translator, I truly love him/her. Even though we had to wait 2 or more months, but the way he/she publishes it, is one arc per upload, in this way we are not standing on a cliff, clinging on to our dear lives while cursing the author or translator for leaving us to hang.

Please, do try this story! I will bet 2 pan of cookies you will love this too <3 <<less

While I'm not a fan of BL, I've enjoyed the stories from time to time. Seeing as how people rave about this one I decided to check it out. I was surprised, I loved it... at first. While the BL part of it is kind of second fiddle to his plans and ruining god's, around v6 it starts to more heavily focus on the BL parts. At one point it got a bit too much for me and I dropped it. While the story isn't bad, I would caution anyone... more>> who is interested that the 'love' can be very vivid. If BL doesn't bother you it's a great read that's well written, with great characters, and amazing subplots on each world. 3 / 5 <<less

Amazing and superb really!! I've reread it for 10 or 12 times already but it never gets boring. I love how the plot and characters are constructed and the love between the MC and ML is really enviable!! Like their kind of love is something I wish to experience. I'll just make it short- this novel is really exceptional and well-made and not definitely an exaggeration!!

Incredible. This story was simply wonderful. Glorious. The main character has such a way with revenge no other character comes close in all the books I have read. This novel did so much right. I can't thank the author and translation team enough for this amazing story.

First off gonna say, I was hesitant to read this novel, mainly because the synopsis describes it as a world jumper, and that's pretty much what it is. I thought, surely if the MC is constantly jumping worlds there won't be enough time to develop anything right? I was wrong, the story has different segments for each world, and those segments are numbered in chapters. The first chapter in those worlds is almost always bit info dumpy, explaining various things about the world and current situation, after that though it... more>> is pure development. Most of the characters introduced are interesting, some a little unbelievable, others you'll wish were there from start to end. Each world is fairly unique and interesting, some less than others, some you'll wish there was an entire novel based on it. Honestly, the only complaint I have about this novel is that it ended.

TLDR; If you haven't read this yet because it's a multiple world story, and that's your only reason. Read it.

If you are avoiding it because you're worried it'll be edgy and tragic based on the synopsis. Read it

If you are think it'll be too corny because it highlights the MC as a hacker. Read it.

Actually regardless of what your reason is, just read it anyway if you are like me you'll be hooked in a few chapters, even if you don't like Yaoi stuff. It's worth the read. <<less
