A fun duo. Unlike others where there's an MC and lots of secondary characters.

Another point I like is the food/drinks part. In most other Isekai, the MC is crazy about traditional dishes and rice, I mean, seriously? You travel into another world and your main concern is eating the same food as before?

Read it. You, yes I'm talking to you. Read it.

So far there are no adventures or apparent cheats (up to chapter 7) but read it. Read it I say!

"But, but, why should I read it id it has no adventures or cheats?" You say? Baka! It has deep, I say, DEEP conflict against oneself. The author is kind enough to send you guys a realistic struggling of transferred individuals, yet you don't read it!? Heresy!

Overall I like the story. It's a fun read and I personally like the 2 mc's. If there's one thing that kinda urks me is that between the 2 girls Maki is treated as a secondary character to Chiharu. I get that in japanese novels they tend to favor the cute, small and delicate type but it gets on my nerves a little when maki serves as a foil for chirahu. They are both amazing but get different treatment from the people around them.

Two drunk girls/women are summoned to a different world when very drunk. They are met by a bunch of hot guys of different fantasy races. It seems like the story will be an amusing romp. The translation quality is good but it is hard to tell who is talking. Anyhow, I'll come back for more when more chapters have been released.

Fast paced isekai that's a pretty light easygoing read. I ended up binging through 18 chapters in one sitting lol.

Story focuses on two MCs and sometimes multiple other characters talking one after another can feel a bit messy but that's on the author's part, seems to be less of an issue a few chapters in though luckily and thankfully Tiger Translations helped indicate who is speaking when that happens.

The setting seems like your usual isekai saintess story but speeding through the introductory "we need you to purify lands sorry god... more>> abducted you from your world and family" and more about exploring and traveling. So far, most the characters are genuinely good hearted but also a little overbearing and to the reluctance of the MCs who don't want to be conpletely treated like they're made of glass and maybe because we're not that far in the story yet but some of the characters just come off as "here's your isekai dog dude, bird man, elf, prince" rapid fire to where it's a bit hard to get attached to them right now. I'm hoping we get some more indeph on the other characters. <<less

At this point I can't say too much about where exactly the story will play out later.

Actually this whole boyfriend stuff mentioned in the description above wasn't really that important to this point at least they aren't searching for a boyfriend at this point.

But as some already mentioned it's about 2 girls that are summoned to another world as saintesses. For that world the saintesses are essential to purify miasma. Alone with their presence. Normally you would think they would put them into cages and ferry them around the world.... more>> Instead they are really considerate and handle the saintesses with care.

But that is a big problem for our two MCs as they found it to be stifling so they decided to disguise themselve and run away to travel the world while purifying it. And as expected they get into troubles here and there.

And if you ask me the characters are pretty Okey, maybe still a little 2 dimensional but the story is just beginning (besides it seems pretty normal in jp novels). Also missing is a kind of antagonistic character but I think it just wasn't introduced jet (aside from that weird church that was mentioned once).

also I'm as the 2 protagonists not quite sure why the saintesses are so important. Why exactly do the need to purify the miasma? I mean they were in the castle for about 2-3 weeks they could at least mention why their work is that important.

Personally I think it's fun to read but really it's just a generic hero runs away from the castle. Just that the MCs aren't hunted down with malicious thoughts but because the people care for them. <<less

To be honest I think it's a little boring.

It's a sweet story following two sweet MC's as they discover a completely different world.

... more>> The other characters aren't uninteresting, but nothing pops out to me.

I thought the first bird person we met was interesting, but then it turned out all bird people are pretty much the same.

The two MC's are different from each other, but both quite likeable.

Everyone is nice and understanding, and maybe that's the problem. I could be reading a tourist guide for the world they got dragged into and I'd feel about the same: "Oh this is interesting, I'd like to visit."

But I've yet to read a story in here. I'm not really looking for high drama either, I like slice of life. But even slice of life has tension of some sort. Good or bad.

It's still pretty early I suppose, we're still somewhat in the exposition, but at the moment I'm not feeling it. <<less

TLDR: If you like the concept of nonsensical people doing nonsensical things this is likely 5 stars, if you like your fantasy to have real people with real motivations this is about a 2 or 3. I split the difference.

Details: The writing and translation are outstanding!!! It's downright superior to most of the content on novel updates.

The plot and characters, it's a shame the had to burden such a readable book. You have every s*upid trope you can find in an isekai except the harem. You have unreasonable insane people... more>> willing to hurt themselves just inconvenience the MCs, MCs that can't see past their nose, hiding in plain sight with bad disguises, a silly save the world plot, and the list goes on.

You'll love it or hate it <<less

Since I saw pretty bad reviews. I think I should left my thoughts on this.

It really refreshing kind of novel, half fluff half serious. First chapter is not so good - I know pretty genetic and slow, took me a month to finally start chapter 2. Then it is a smooth sailing. MCs are bright and cheerful one is fluff and another is sporty while not an airhead kind of MCwith cheats. Actually I didn't see any cheat so far. They were just there as human air filter kind of... more>> thing.

So, read it if you into this kind of thing. No OP characters or tragedy like the world will burn. <<less

This was a fun novel to read until the author and editor decided to inject some elements of realistic Japanese societal issues😒

((the arc in which the two characters were rescued from the grasps of a pedo-fetish lord, who instead of being executed or put on trial, is simply exiled))

I used to enjoy reading Japanese isekai novels. The lack of conflict, in either romantic relationships or day to day 'survival' in a different world is really appealing (especially once you consider the intended market

((japan's work culture... more>> is soul crushing))

the story is about two very good friends who are introduced as lamenting the lack of (good) male partners over food, but then they are transported to another world where they now have an embarrassment of riches to choose from.

They're quickly informed that they can live the rest of their lives in comfort, that just their existence was enough and they didn't need to do anything else but hand in some magical (pimple) crystals that doubled as currency in their new world.

This soothing discovery gains another level of comfort once it's revealed that both female characters are SUPER producers of magical crystals. But of course, bc these two female protagonists are written to be hard workers

(probably to unsubtly remind their demographic that being a hard worker means being valuable 🥴),

living a life of leisure doesn't exactly appeal to them, so they escape and wander around to fully enjoy the new world they have been dropped in.

Food descriptions are alright, in my experience reading translated Japanese novels, a LOT is lost in translation. At first this is a sweet simple story about two foodies and some implied reverse harem/pairings for the two.

But then the pedo-lord with a dwarf fetish and the way how his 'punishment' was handled just put me off the whole novel and it might for other readers too 😫.

Because what was the reason for ONLY exiling a would be assaulter of your world's most valuable existence? Why even put that in this idyll living/foodie/light hearted novel?

I read a few more chapters after that arc to see if the plot was going to shift from a lighthearted foodie/hot guy romp to dark political/impending doom intrigue thriller-

And it seems like it was starting to, bc the characters later go back to the capitol, and are greeted w/ the realization that not all parties of the world values their existence bc some parties of this new world are from the *privileged* areas not affected by the evil miasma.

... So it seems like the idyll foodie isekai was just a pretty hook... And I wasn't going to stick around for the "drama"

(Because the frustration that Japanese novels create are almost NEVER resolved satisfactorily unlike cnovels which can get pretty unhinged😭)

But I do recommend this if you're feeling bored. Just be prepared for the jarring slaps of reality and the nuisances of secondary characters not getting what is deserved.

((SERIOUSLY though, you're going to ONLY exile the would be r*9ist of your two saint's!? What happened to them being integral to the further existence of your world!? Are your two saints not important after all to execute a common baron!? The author and editor decided that pedophilia was ok to include, but even an implied death/trial of a pedophilic predator was *gasp* too outlandish?

spoiler; pedo-lord WAS implied to be a predator who had a thing for snatching up dwarf's bc they resembled children so the fact that the author/editor decided that giving a fictional predator a new territory to peruse instead of writing a scenario in which both mc's are given the agency to denounce such a despicable person with all the political power afforded them is VERY telling 😒😒😒

Very unique from your usual transported to another world to be a saintess. The dynamic of the duo is great and the bit of romance is always a plus. Overall it's a fun, fluffy, and gentle novel to read whenever you need to take a break after reading something heavy. A wonderful stress reliever

This is going to be an unusual review. The translations were fantastic! It's just that...I'm a nerd. And I've thought about this story a little too much. I'm writing this review as if I'm asking to be the protagonist of my own transmigration.

I'd really encourage the Saints to fund a research study on the impact of magic stone usage and miasma generation. Because, as I understand, you are about to become a literal fossil fuel because you're not controlling the market on magic stones and are instead just giving them... more>> away at whatever price you're told to sell them for.
Ladies, please, I BEG YOU: hire an expensive lawyer (and physicians), 9 MONTHS AGO.

Edit: Also, just saying, my bestie is as horrifically practical as I am. This world would be economically savaged by us. <<less

Very lighthearted and fluffy, but as the chapters were pretty much the same concept, it gets boring.. I'm taking a break after ch.82. I've been feeling like I'm wasting time trying to read this too much.

It did get a few laughs out of me during the first few chapters. I'll get back to this after reading some more intense action type novel/manwha.

Big thanks to the TL team. It was really great work ;)

interesting twist on the standard 'saintess' isekai. Two good friends on a world trip :D I like that thry both have an important task and care enough about people and the world to fulfill it, but at thr same time don't let it become their entire identity, and just have fun while helping the world.

the different races are interesting, and the concepts of miasma purification and monsters are kinda goofy but adorable and fun. If you expect horror and endless FPS shooter then you'll be disappointed but if you want... more>> to just read a funny story about two people who actually enjoy their job and have fun saving the world, then this story is an easy 5 star. <<less

It's ok-ish for an isekai saintess trope and the fact that there are two protagonists who are good friends is an interesting twist. It does start to get boring afterwards when the cliches start rolling in.

I've read the manga version too and overall this story is a 2.4/5
