Great novel. A badass MC and beautiful girls clinging to him. Good story, but can be better.

As expected from the author of Evil Lord from an intergalactic's empire

Second half of vol3 wasn't as good and from v4 onwards the quality gets even lower. To you the reader things appear to be obvious to the point of annoyance but the cast acts oblivious to them. The dialogues are no longer interesting or thought-provoking. Everyone has degraded to simple lines and cliched personalities.
Coincidentally, I've heard that bakape*vert isn't a good translation team and honestly seeing the disparity in quality and the speed at which they translate I think it's true. At the very least they're releasing unedited or overly simplified texts to keep up with their translating speed. How much of this is the author's fault is unknown to be honest.

Actual rating 3.8.

I could not say I did not find this series enjoyable, but I doubt I could proudly claim this series as amazing. It is like eating fried rice with good ingredients only to find the rice texture is all over the place. It is still tasty overall, and there are parts that make me truly happy, but it I just can not claim that it is the best fried rice out there.

I still hope to read more though. :)

It's good if you have brain to admire something good written. Whenever I found some Otome stories it's always the girl who were main lead and story is very cliched.. Even among few Otome games I couldn't find anything different. But this novel is quite good. Even tho it is less translated than original but I am willing to read it in machine translation.
