I really want to like this story. I really want to. But alas, I can't.

You see, it goes like this:

Author wants people to recognize protagonist's greatness and how she's a blessing to her family who's about to be ruined. The problem is, the protagonist is 3 years old. And this 3 years old not only contracts with 3 powerful spirits within the first week, she also does office work. 3 years old, doing office work. And her older brother who's like 5 years old maybe is also a genius and... more>> also does office work. And each of them are better at it than people their father's age. Also, everyone actually take their her words easily.

Now tell me how many people are actually going to seriously listen to a 3 years old without just thinking of it as a child's nonsense? Add to that, the protagonist can even transform into her hot teenage form, from 3 years old, at will. And she uses this teenage form at will without people questioning why the duke's daughter is much older than what she should be.

That's pretty much the biggest fault in this story. Nobody questions the protagonist at all. Not when she managed to get powerful spirits, not when she started doing office work, not when they realize she's not their daughter, not when she switched to her teenage form to defend her 13 year old kemonomimi boyfriend. Everyone just accepts without question. Even her family just waved it off as if it is completely natural for little girls to be taken over by a being from another dimension.

The protagonist is an extreme Mary Sue, she can do anything, and everything better than people who have been doing it for decades. She breezes through every difficulty like they're tissue paper since she's 3 years old. If you don't like or barely tolerates Mary Sue, then you will absolutely hate this.

If you can get past that, the story is quite okay. Not something I would call good, but it's about average. If you can look past the Mary Sue, maybe you can enjoy it. It's neither good nor bad, writing-wise. <<less

It was actually pretty good from the start:

  • there was plot
  • most characters were proper characters with their own distinct personalities
  • there was conflict.
Overall, it was a nice arc. The next (current) arc proved to be a little different:

  • plot is practically nonexistent (as of ch51)
  • characters are only there to praise the MC
  • MC is so s*upidly overpowered that she breezes through practically everything
It suddenly turned from an OK novel into a very not OK novel.

I love OP MCs. But I've had enough of mofumofu, okay? I love animals and their soft fur, but MCs and ojou-samas like the one in this novel is overreacting everytime they see a cat or a dog. If I was the animal, I'd bite her.

Okay, maybe I am being unreasonable but that's the reason I don't like her being with Dirk. He only liked him because he's a beastman and she likes mofumofu. And her spoiled brat attitude and overreaction when it involves Dirk everytime. Gahd so annoying.

Objectively, this is a bad novel. There probably isn't an aspect of this novel I wouldn't criticize. The most glaring errors are namely:

    1. The MC is too illogically OP. Being OP is nothing new; hell, like 70% of why I read these novels is to see someone going through life being the shit. But this MC is so OP/Mary Sue it actually makes no sense in the context of the story. For example,
      Spoiler

the original villainess is killed/assassinated in several routes, but we find out later she's been trained by a super strong maid and is herself strong enough to kill an A rank beast. If that's the case, how was she assassinated by a regular knight before? Or how about the fact that, within one month, she forms strong enough bonds with her family for them to pretty much die for her, but the original body actually got disowned in several routes for wanting to get rid of the game heroine in the original story? Or the idea that the Prime Minister's daughter would be sentenced to death for attempting to kill a diplomat from a country they were warring with?

      [collapse]
It's one thing to be OP and amazing, but this story reads more like the author keeps throwing in new ways she's super amazing every 3 chapters, but doesn't actually remember or reread her original backstory to avoid discontinuity issues.
    2. The relationship. Um...I'm not going to tackle this from the same perspective as everyone else as we've already established it's rather creepy for everyone to be okay with a (physical) 3 year-old and 13 year-old to be in love/engaged and allowed to be physical in front of others. I won't even mention my confusion at the fact that no one seems surprised/put off by it, especially the people who don't actually know she's an adult inside. Nope, I wanna talk about it from another angle; even if we disregard her physical body and consider her mental age, then we still have an engagement between a 25 year-old and a 13 year-old which, frankly, is just as creepy. Why does a 25 year-old woman find it appropriate to profess her love to -and grope- a young boy? Even if she liked his adult figure in the game, you'd expect she'd... idk, wait for the child to become (or at least look like) an adult? There's a big difference between thinking someone is "cute" and wanting to jump his bones. I'll let you guess which category this MC falls under.
    3. The acceptability. This is everyone's problem with this novel but I think it needs to be said again: WHY IS NO ONE QUESTIONING WHY ANY OF THIS IS HAPPENING? Why is the family's first reaction to welcome the MC rather than asking why their 3 year-old daughter needed a 'benefactor' in the first place, or if she's even alright??? How can a real 3 year-old with a real 3 year-old's physique mature enough to have adult thoughts when an adult with said 3 year-old physique can't even prevent herself from taking naps? If the body is a restriction, why should the brain of a 3 year-old (who, by the way, has yet to understand that a cup of water in a bowl and a cup of water in a glass are the same amount) be capable of complex adult thoughts??? Why are we not only letting national affairs be handled by a 3 year-old (with the soul/experiences of maybe an adult) but also a 5 year-old with the soul and experiences of a Five. Year. Old??? And, most importantly,
      Spoiler

why is no one calling the police when a drunk 17 year-old takes his 7 year-old (but she looks 10 so don't worry) girlfriend into an inn room?

      [collapse]
Look, I really don't hate this novel. Some parts of it, I quite like, actually. But this author needs to pull it together and start rereading old chapters before posting new ones. The one remaining thread of logic holding this story together could snap at any time. And I'm being very real when I say that as I, at chapter 48, can no longer remember -or perhaps I never knew- what the MC's goals are.

At first it was decent. The start felt good. But then everything started to get too OP.

Spoiler

MC's relatives magically get her overpowered gifts that was meant for the female lead

[collapse]
.

I mean if your family can afford such OP stuff then why did you get the villainess end?

    • The setting was that MC will avoid the [BAD END] from the story. But before the story even got to the point MC already has too much OP stuff and magic, so getting the bad end doesn't even matter.
    • What frustrates me most is the lovey dovey moments.
    • Spoiler

The ML of the story is 13 years and MC is 3. So these two have a 10 years age gap. But that's not the point. They start flirting while the MC is only 3. And the ML sexually harassed the MC while drunk when she is 7 years old (he's 17 then). The ML also admits that the MC (a 7 your old child) is a source of his wet dreams. Like what?! And nobody around them questions the fact that a 13 year old and 3 year old are fliting.

      [collapse]
    • I absolutely hate watching the ML and FL flirt.
    • Then its also very weird that no one questions why the MC can do what she can do. Everyone just accepts whatever she says. I mean she is a 3 year old child. Why do you take her words so seriously?
    • The father makes his 3 year and 5 year old children work at the office. Does that make sense? She becomes an s class adventurer when only 7 and she just started out.
I enjoy reading stories with OP MC but this was bad. Not my cup of tea and this is the first time I felt like this for a novel.

Love it till now

If anyone gets bored by the MCs OPness might they get healed by the diabetes inducing interactions between the character- be it the MCs family or the MC n the ML.

Perfect for curing ones heart after a bad day

Its so soothing!!!! Give it a try

What I really like about this is how the transmigration is explained with a precedence in this world.

Spoiler

The person from our world is called the Beneficiary and the 'host' of that world is someone who has called for one, albeit sometimes unknowingly. The 'host' soul/personality doesn't disappear either, but rather they merged together. (From Rosalia + Rin = Rosarin)

I especially like this since it wasn't a dead person from our world typically taking over a child's life, but rather a wish granted by both parties.

The family also realised that their kid has changed, becoming a Beneficiary, right from the very beginning. So no "gotta keep this a secret" schtick. They are very observant and supportive too, compared to the typical cast in the kinda stories.

This story has a touch of "Avoid the Death Route" and yeah, they've the same translator but at the same time, I love the progress of the story and how fluffy it is and it doesn't have a mess up plot. Still, I prefer this rather than Avoid the Death Route.

I tried 10 chapters, and I leave with disappointment.

The start is good, but then FL start doing office work, adult transformation, and many questionable things for a 3 years old baby, and yet no one seem to questioning it.

Fantasy is good, isekai is good, but treating 3 years old like an adult is just unacceptable for me. If only Author set her age to 10 or above....

I absolutely love over the top OP MCs. And MC in this story is about as OP as I've ever seen. But, I just can't bring myself to like the story. Something just doesn't feel right.

Potential reasons:
- The pacing is too fast, and too centered around MC. Basically: MC finds a problem, stomps it out, done. There's no opportunity for other characters to grow and shine. And thus, no opportunity for readers to feel any attachment.
- Related to the above, I hate MC's lovey dovey interactions with ML... more>> (which is unfortunately a big focus). ML has the same issue as other characters. He's just there. Aside from MC remembering him from the game, the story never shows us why he's special or what his appeal is. MC just randomly picks him up one day and starts feeding and grooming him. This is like watching your friend flirt with a random stranger off the street.
- If anything, MC is more like one of those selfish antagonists playing as the game's heroine. The kind that treats the world as a game to clear, is supremely confident that people won't reject her, and treats others like casual collectables. <<less

The beginning was good. The story had adorable characters with good story directions. While the MC was already OP (3yo sword master with magic), it was enjoyable.

Things started to fall apart after the first arc though.

It lost all sense of plot and became just pure fluff between her and her fiancé. I’m fine with romance, in fact, I particularly likes fluffy slice-of-life, BUT a 7-year-old is making out with a 17-year-old. And the author keeps emphasizing this 7-year-old’s b**bs. I know she is mentally 29 then, but then it means... more>> at the beginning a 25 year-old was relentlessly pursuing a 13-year old boy. Either way it’s not ok?? Like, reincarnation makes romance hard, but please put off physical stuff until they are of age. This is borderline pedophilia.

Even if you stomach that stuff (and I will judge you for that), the plot is not moving at all. The MC is OP and keeps adding OP spirits, beastmen, and the like to her entourage. There is no suspense as everything is always “according to keikaku” and if not, she solves it by sheer overwhelming power. And while the author dangles the promise of an end goal once in a while, the challenges quickly become routine. OP characters can be well written but this one is not. Save your time, drop this. <<less

Let's see...

Actually I don't know how I could had read this much before dropping it.

The idea is good, but that ends there. The MC have three year old. Nothing wrong with this but she have a strong magical power and became friends with a lot of spirits, she can do absolutely everything when humans this age can't even speak correctly.

Rosarin (MC) is a kind of reincarnator, but since we don't know what kind of job she had or how she lived her past life (except for the time she were... more>> in a hospital), it seems unrealistic her high capacity in office work.

I kinda have a problem with Rosarin's relationship with Dirk (ML?). Why? Well...

Spoiler

It's probably because he is TEN YEARS OLDER than Rosarin. Yeah, she first met him at 3 but he already was 13, and apparently, nobody cares about it, because they get engaged. I totally can't stand the scenes when they flirt, it's uncomfortable.

[collapse]

The personality of the characters aren't well elaborated either. We can define the things they like with only a word.

  • Rosarin likes fluffy things.
  • Dirk likes Rosarin.
  • MC's brother likes plants. Etc...
Spoiler

Well, I have to admit that I liked when she slaps the Prince, getting a revenge for the way he treated her. But this is the only good scene wich I remember.

[collapse]

In the end I don't recommend this novel, because it really desappointed me.

Hope this review has helped you.

I don't think it's really that bad. Is she OP? Yes. But that's often the case with this genre. The romance is fast, perhaps too fast for some people considering the FL actual age (not her "mind age"). That's a bit weird, I agree, but at some point she's going to grow up so I'm not too worried about it at this point. At least I don't have to worry about 100+ chapters of ambiguous romance between multiple leads, lol

and I think this novel handles it really well—much better than most of the novels where the above happens. As for why everyone listens to her—it does indeed seem odd at first, but I was satisfied enough with the explanation when we got it. In all, it's fluffy and I enjoy reading it. I do feel sorry for a certain spirit, though.

Update for 34:

As others have mentioned, I also feel conflicted about the romance. On the one hand it is portrayed as being very sweet and adorable. But it is hard to ignore the age differences.
Spoiler

One half of the MC's soul is 3 years old, the other half is an adult. Her love interest is 13.

, but I just didn't want people to think that I was ignoring the problematic issue in my review.

Update for 44:

-_- I am somewhat regretting the high praise I gave this in the first part of my review. I notice that an Ecchi tag was added. It must have been added for this chapter, between a 17 and 7 year old... -_-... right. *speechless* I'm not giving this a one star simply because of the things I liked from the first 30 chapters. I'm dropping this. Maybe I'm a hypocrite, because if this were manga it probably wouldn't disturb me as much. But then again, manga feels less real to me, whereas with novels I actually have to imagine the characters, so I try to imagine what a seven year old would actually look like, so it feels more real and disturbs me. <<less

At the moment it's cute but fairly lacking in substance, the chapters are quite short too so it goes nowhere fast.

The main detractor right now is that people actually listens to her when she's 3 years old without being patronizing.

I'll rate it later when it have shown where it's heading.

REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS!

I'm 70 chapters in and I just realized I wasted my whole day off reading this LN. It started out good. First few chapters were great, tho later I realized they basically resolved everything in the first part of the of vol1. She got her family, spirits, boyfriend... the death flags were conquered!

I continued reading expecting to find a deeper plot... But after 70 chapters it's still nowhere to found. From like chapter 30 nothing new happens. The story goes like this: MC does something OP-->everyone praises... more>> the MC or are shocked --->lovey dovey /ECCHI stuff with her boyfriend/fiance (Her mental age is older I get that but she is still 3YEARS OLD WITH A BOYFRIEND) --->some slice of life....

The idea for a story is there, but the plot and execution are more than lacking. <<less

Extremely boring. The heroine is a Sue: gets everything without trying, has tons of uber-powerful spirits, loved by everyone etc. The plot is lackluster too (at least as of now). The romance is weird at best - main couple's ages being 13 and 3 (!). Yes, she was an adult in her past life, can cast an illusion of being adult now (did I mention that's she's magically overpowered? Ah, I did), but it irks me anyway.

This novel is wonderful, given that you fulfill these requirements:

  1. Lack or are willing to disregard common sense and morality
  2. Is not bored or disgusted by "fluffy romance"
  3. Read as it is and do not look t0o hard
If you fulfill all these requirements, congrats! You'll love this novel. Otherwise, I recommend reading something else. :D

This story is really good and I seriously recommend reading it, though ironically that's how you shouldn't read this novel, the best way to read it is to let go of your common sense to a certain degree, as long as you read it without much... 'critical thinking' you'll probably enjoy this novel a ton.

Wow there are Mary Sues, Gary Stus and then there is this novel. This is really something else. Everybody around the MC is either incredibly talented and completely incompetent at their job (the incredibly talented part is so the MC can be that much greater) or just completely incompetent and useless (or occasionally until the MC bestows their magic touch and they become perfect) . You toss in that as the novel progresses she starts doing things that there just aren't enough hours in the day to accomplish, not to... more>> mention things that aren't even comprehensible with magic and it just becomes a question of what s*upid thing is going to happen nex.

[b]MOST IMPORTANTLY THIS NOVEL REQUIRES A WARNING THAT IT CONTAINS BLATANT PEDOPHILIA [/b]

List of things that kill this novel

Spoiler

7 year old having s*xual relations

7 year old punching out veteran knights

3 year old restructuring the nations administrative system

7 year old redesigning the nations communications system

7 year old beats up the HERO the only SSS ranked adventurer in the world

Man who deeply cares about his family abandons them without means of support when he can easily support them, just so the MC (age 7) can reunite them and provide them a home (I really need my WTF face)

There's a hell of a lot of off camera information that just isn't given to the reader so the MC can look brilliant compared to the reader.

[collapse]

I gave this three stars because it's either a 1 or a 5. For most people who won't be able deal with the very problematic problems it's going to be a 1. For those that really want their wish fulfillment and probably should just go buy drinking birds to bow at them, this will be a 5 <<less
