The storyline's overall fluffy and cute. I recommend it for people who just watch some angst. What I don't understand is something about ML.

Don't get me wrong, I'm quite fond of ML but his behaviour towards his friend, Calvin is kinda unacceptable to me. It's shown that Calvin has been a good friend to ML since they were young but an incident where Calvin's mother betrayed the royal family happened and this incident could harm MC. At the time, MC was pregnant while Calvin was in the prison. It's understandable that as a husband, ML would wanna be with MC, however, can't he at least spend a little bit of time to clear Calvin's name? Instead ML just rejoiced on his baby after he got Calvin out of the prison without conversing with him whatsoever. Is his relationship with Calvin that shallow? Wasn't Calvin the closest friend to him?

Well, ML's friendship is actually better than most ML in BL novels so I just brush off this bit even though I'm still dissatisfied. I would rate it a 4.5 but I'll just give a 5. <<less

I never thought I'd be so happy to read such a fluffy cute story about Shu Shu, the hamster-cultivated-to-human and his adventures in a totally different universe with beastmen.

The MC is super super adorable, and not only adorable, but very determined, brave and straightforward. While there are some parts that are cliched, as he is a pretty typically naive/innocent MC, he also breaks standard BL mold to be the one who takes his own initiative, acts with self-confidence, and works hard to stand on his own feet.

The side characters are... more>> overall pretty great as well. There aren't any truly crazy love rivals or brain-damaged cannon fodder characters, so the face-slapping is pretty subtle and enjoyable (not overly dramatic or destructive).

MC is the one who proposes to the ML! MC also wonderfully believes in himself, so he doesn't care much about gossip/convention, and is not your standard humble/shy/embarrassed "shou." Even their wedding night was SO refreshing!!

Also LOVED this line from the MC: "Relying on others is unwise; you are better relying on yourself." towards a supporting character in the face of expected gender roles.

This story never fails to bring a smile to my face. Translator is pretty good as well (only a couple minor grammatical issues). <<less

It was fun and great time till around chapter 30... then it started to drag. Repeating same sequence not only from chapter to chapter but like 3 times within same chapter... I started to skip.. and realized I skipped 4 chapters and still read only little progress, so dropping

Edgar (ML) in snake beastform is a doting ML that provides for ShuShu (MC) despite him being super scared of him at first. The first 20 chapters build up their relationship perfectly. Many funny and cute moments as well.

I love how protective Edgar (ML) is and I just want to cuddle ShuShu (MC) forever. This seems to take place in a fantasy world with beastman and sub-beastman, almost something similar to ABO troupes (Alpha/Beta/Omega) but in this case beastman (Alpha) and sub-beastman (Omega)

I'm not too sure plotwise since it's just 20% diving into the real plot so probably gonna MTL the rest of the chapters or wait for the rest of the translated chapters. Anyway, give this a read if you love fluffy romance! <<less

The plot of MC & ML is good. Cute hamster and big snake story. I laughed a lot seeing the interaction between ML & MC. The plot is good paced & light hearted but towards the end it became little monotone and expected plot. Overall enjoyed.

Definitely deserved it’s high rating! I thought I would be fed pure boring fluff but it wasn’t. The world building was good, storyline was interesting and extra was the best! Though there was a bit of a plot hole on how the MC even know how to cook/ clean animals, the other parts were all good. Definitely a recommended read!

Minus point: ML is too OP and MC is too s*upid.

However, it's good for light-reading (about 100 chapters).

So cute & so fluffy (literally too) !

MC dumb but strong willed; his pure thoughts and actions really endearing. The interactions between the two are so funny and so adorable.

Exciting plot points, world building mishmash of cultivation/beast world novel. The mpreg woven in so naturally as part of the world setting, with some parts being very comedic cause of it.

Side couple plot in extras was also really good and got me invested—really wanted to slap the irritating pests.

Would re-read! ~\ (≧▽≦) /~

I didn't rate it because I only got to chapter 62, but if I did it would only be a 2.

I feel like I'm missing something, so many people hyped this book and the reviews are so high, I'm confused.

This book is just not for me.

I don't mind niave characters as long as they aren't completely s*upid and weak, but honestly I couldn't find many redeeming qualities about the MC. MC was alive for a long time and soaked in a lot of modern knowledge from TV and his... more>> owners, I don't buy it that he is completely s*upid about things.

The ML is also a little off, he is 30 and wants the 16 year old looking, obedient, niave MC.... comes off a slightly creepy to me.

The whole novel reads in a slightly misogynistic tone, even if all are men, it just put the sub beasts in modern day woman roles. Everything is so superficial.

I did really like the beginning and thought the MC had room to grow, was looking forward to his growth. I also liked that the MC did seem to realize his feelings with his friends help, that part was handled better than most danmei.

The translation was good, no complaints. I just can't continue on with the novel. <<less

Just completed reading it.

Have to say really a very heartwarming and heartmelting story. So cute and so fluffy.

Fell in love with the MC and ml. MC was so dense but very cute, straightforward and simple minded. ML was so loving towards MC and so pampering ahhh! So cute.

Loved the extras, their children's story loved them alot.

Thanks for ur effort author as well as translators❣️

The translation is good but the story is ultimately very flat. It starts with an interesting plot and while the MC isn't unique, he's not bad. The first half while they're in the forest is enjoyable but as soon as they arrive in society, that's where the story starts to unravel.

Suddenly it's just boring drama after boring drama, with the MC and ML making brain numbingly bizarre decisions just to continue the pointless drama. The background characters are only there to push the drama, basically cardboard cutouts.

Overall, I just couldn't... more>> enjoy it. <<less

This book was very sweet unlike other mpreg where there is some disparities in workforce, the subbeastman were allowed to get any job they wanted.

Loving the no gender inequality here plus the gong was not overbearing just lol a s*ave to Shu Shu.

The children were also very cute 🤣

As for someone who like fluffy stories, this one is actually really good, the amount of fluffiness in this story will certainly make you unable to keep a straight face

I love Shushu so much, he's such a badass and Edgar treat shushu is number one queen, (although shushu is an empress) as for their children, you could absolutely say that they're just like their parent

This novel is super cute and heartwarming just like what others said. At first, I was reluctant in reading this because I thought it'll just be another boring story but it got me deeply attached the longer I read that I don't want this to end. 😭😭 This is my first time making a review because I am just so in love with this story. The translation is also super good so kudos to you translator.

A really cute and enjoyable beastman/shapeshifter story. Warning for the mpreg, but other than that, MC and ML are really a sweet and doting couple with many humorous interactions. The side couples are equally interesting and fun to read about. MC's hamster shape vs ML's snake shape, which was supposed to be predator-prey relationship ended up being one of the funniest laughing point without feeling like it had been overused. And MC spreading his cultivation knowledge as a golden finger also added interestingly to the plot. Full of Fluff... its for light reading only. There's no heavy conflict amd easy to understand. I like the MC and ML. MC is basically terrified of ML beast form, but he still brave and accept it. ML is so considerate. You don't get many ML who is as considerate as this ML. He takes care of MC even before they know eo deeply. If you like this kind of story... go for it.

It was cute and interesting. The MC is a soft, strong, and adorable hamster. The ML is a doting and powerful snake. Their beastforms seemed to be the natural prey-predator but the MC was able to overcome his fear and get his wonderful happy ending with the ML.

Cute and Fun to read. The plot is so so but characters are adorable! The plot is light although it's contains some cliche and soap opera drama but it still fun to read. No need to think much when reading and a lot of misunderstood scenes in story are so hilarious to the point that I feel second hand embarrassed...

MC is kinda dumb in the early part of story. That make me feel irritated a bit but not to the point of intolerable tho. But I guess that s*upidness also... more>> make him look so pure and cute... Actually I love extra more than the story but overall is still pretty good. <<less

If you want a break from an emotional, angsty, or overwhelming novel that you've just read, this is one of the go-to novels. The plot's simple and light-hearted. Not much going on, but that's exactly what I need rn, and you might need it too!

This novel is truly a fun and good one. I like the MC very much. Unique from other MCs I read so far. He was very honest, naïve (but in a good way), and so funny! He's also very cute!

And the ML is so unlucky. Lmao. I really pity him.

I love the babies, too! My heart melts every time I read those parts when they go out of their eggs. The only thing I dislike a little is how different the treatment is between the beastmen and sub-beastmen babies. But then, it's just a story. I still enjoyed it though.
