Sagara Mizuki, who realized she had recollections of her previous life while wandering the border of life and death, woke up on a hospital bed. She was surprised that the environment surrounding her resembled the setting of [Seventh Heaven] a game which she had unwillingly played before. She was the perfect young lady who happened to be the rival of the disappointing heroine [Toujou Rin].

However, if observed carefully, there were a lot of slight differences from the game. The perfect young lady named Mizuki became the perfect Prince known as the “Beautiful Crossdresser” and her one-year older brother had turned five years older.

Without choosing the route of attacking the heroine, Mizuki begins to choose a proper life.

“Eh? Huh? Why did it come to this?”

What would be the future of the girl who had started to roll in the wrong direction of what she had wanted due to a slight mistake?

This is a very interesting novel that kind of ressembles kenkyo but is also different as it takes a more serious tone to the story. The main character is cool, rational, smart, capable and beautiful and she has a trauma that makes her more interesting than other characters. I also really like the relationships between the characters and their interactions towards each other. All the side characters are likeable and have a reason for doing what they do, overall a very nice read. I am really looking forward to reading... more>> more and seeing the characters develop more.

Also, the summary doesn't do justice to this novel, so if the summary turns you off I highly recommend you at least read the first two chapters and see if you like it or not. <<less

confusing...

I really tried to like this novel, but it is written so confusing way that it makes me lose interest. It doesn't help either that chapters are sort of short so even the plot has not progressed much. At the moment this novel just feels like jumbled mess and I have no interest to decipher it.

Some of the dialogues and lines are written in a rather confusing manner. Not a bad story, I liked it so far, except it can get a little cheesy sometimes. The problem is only the MC has an eye catching character and well developed one, while the others are your typical "Main hero but and idiot", "handsome guardian with no particular traits other than blind devotion", "A joker and a balancing smart pair of friends" etc etc. In short, the other characters have no depth in their story, although the... more>> personalities are likeable, their backgrounds or inner circumstances are never mentioned enough to give them lively feeling, making them seem like 2-D characters.

The drama feels a bit forced though. I liked the storyline in the beginning about the mc's physical burden due to a past accident and all but making their noble families seem like they are something out of this world is kinda cheesy. Stuff like "I can't make friends with those who can't defend themselves so I have to ignore my important people in public so that they won't be used to threaten me etc etc...." Come on! They aren't royalty or some goverrnment officials or politician, just some company owners, in real life no matter how famous a conglamorate who has ever heard of their associates getting kidnapped or assassinated? She makes it sound like her friends are bound to get kidnapped to threaten her or something... not to mention her family has made it a law about choosing friends in this method through requirements, limiting their freedom of socializng and also has their vassal family pair up with them to ease the kid's loneliness and stuff, man this is overkill no matter how you look at it as they are only a leading conglemorate who were feudal lords who knows how many centuries ago and aren't even politicians or royalties. If this novel had a setting like in medieval japan or europe I wouldn't complain about it as it would make sense during feudal lord era but in a completely modern japan? Sounds too overdramatic and forced.

The foundation of the story is good, but it lacks any solid plot as it just moves on from one scenario to another without any particular sense of purpose like most other poorly written novels, focusing solely on the mc's interactions with others and only her characteristics while completely ignoring the other characters... maybe my standard is too high after reading novels like "Common sense of duke's daughter" and "Shini Yasui Koushaku Reijou no Nana-ri no Kikoushi", which are both part of the otome game trope yet vastly creative and intriguing, but I had high hopes for this work after reading the beginning. I was more than willing to overlook the lack of character depths of the other characters if the plot was intriguing and had a clear purpose however, I was disappointed. Still, this novel gives a much better impression if you don't read it with too much critical analysis and solely for reading compared to many other half-baked novels in this site of the otome game trope, which are completely boring slice of life. So, I would recommend it if you want a casual reading and don't mind generic 2-D characters and lack of serious plots and wish to see some face slapping and noble circles. <<less

At first I thought this will become somekind of love comedy or friendship building (like reika) but Mizuhime exceeds my expectations. She's smart, rational, and always think everything thoroughly. A beautiful story about human interactions. :D

Interesting premise. More plot, less romance/otome game (my kinda story). Similar to Kenkyo except with a more capable type of MC. Serious with no comedy relief, kinda boring with it being a bit slow paced.

No gender bender here, only crossdressing with wearing male uniform due to circumstances. She's not hiding her gender or anything, everyone knows who she is and why she needs to do it.

No cuteness, innocence, moe-ness. No villainess/heroine behaviors, death flags, etc.

A mature, cool (maybe even cold hearted), capable and intelligent MC, all because of her past... more>> trauma/experience.

A supportive, loving, very protective and capable family. <<less

Ara, this novel is promising. First two chapters and it already caught my attention. I also love otome based novels so I think that adds to the point. Though I shall withheld any further review since it is just starting. I shall get back to this when there's more translations to this. Overall, I like this novel and hope to continue liking this. The story begins with the question of why the beautiful, kind and intelligent rival from the otome game wasn't the heroine instead. The story then sets about answering why: She's completely unrelatable, artificial and holds grudges even while claiming she doesn't care. Everything with her is about image and not substance.

The majority of the supporting cast is very flat. I literally can't tell most of her suitors apart and when I can it's only because they have some really stock defining trait like 'guard with obsessive loyalty.' Pretty much the... more>> only characters with any personality at all are Mizuki, Yakumo, Shiori and Suwabe or whatever his name is. And while the story emphasizes the s*upidity of the latter two, I find myself pitying them because Mizuki's family is destroying theirs after two young children made a s*upid mistake that had consequences far worse than they anticipated.

I can't keep going with this one. After Mizuki flat out admits her mechanical view of the world it's damn near impossible to like her. Maybe it gets better when the otome game heroine shows up and cucks her or something, but with the way the story likes to wank Mizuki I very much doubt any of them will pay any attention to her....I guess the boys have a fetish for scars or something? Because I don't see what else is different about Mizuki that makes her so much more desirable this time around. <<less

The plot is well defined and currently have no plot holes, MC is cool and likable, there are no flaws in his character development with the heroine's love interest. I'm really excited how the heroine will show up and mess the MCs life however before reading this novel I must remind you guys that this story hasn't been updated since new year.

Still hoping for this to be updated

The novel is fun to read and the female lead is quite like likable. Mizuki is smart, strong and independent. The capture targets are also pleasant, well maybe except for one, Suwa. I don't really like him because of the incident with the female lead. Looking forward to the story development and character growth. Definitely recommended to read for slice of life modern otome game reincarnation genre.

I have mixed feelings reading this.

It started out really interesting, but then it was like the main character went from someone who seemed cool, strong and smart into someone with questionable opinions. I can't even convince myself it's just a matter of different attitudes compared to me, the things she say makes me think stuff like "this would cause you to lose your friends irl" but they just nod and agree. Most characters don't really have any personality.

On the other hand, I really liked the parts about her recovery from... more>> an accident they start out talking about and how she still struggles to survive. Maybe that's what made me consider her so strong. She has a great relationship with her family, so that would be nice to see more of.

One more thing, there's a conflict regarding this accident that gets dragged out too long. After a while it gets focused on the guy who didn't even do anything, and they keep emphasizing how s*upid he is, even though I don't think he's that bad.

It hasn't been translated for 7 months at this time, though. I'm not too sad that it ends at this point. <<less

I can see the basis of an interesting novel here, but unfortunately I have to echo other reviewers that the novel is really confusing to read. I was honestly confused that the MC was a man until ~c7, because she (a) confidently talks about taking down larger adults with her martial arts, (b) seemingly only hangs out with men, (c) seduces women and gets asked by women to take them as brides, (d) wears a male uniform, and (e) gets referred to by the pronoun "he/him/his" almost... more>> all the time. I could only tell that the MC was female when I looked back on the novel description to see if I actually got the gender right. Names are also used without introduction, and nicknames are thrown in without clarification even if they're really similar to the name of other characters (for example, the MC is called either Mizumi or Mizuhime even in formal contexts, it's unclear whether the heroine is called Shiori or Toujo Rin, and in many cases branch families get called by the same family name as main families, making it nigh impossible to discern family relationships). People are also extremely harsh towards our invalid MC, tackling her, running into her, and otherwise just stressing her out. <<less

The plot is great, and the MC is great, too. The MC is a rational, cool-headed, mature, cross-dressing beauty. She doesn't crossdress out of her own interest, it's due to various circumstances that's explained in the beginning of the novel. So everyone knows that she's a female, and not a male. The MC doesn't seem too interested in romance so far, but there are capture targets gathered all around her so that might change soon. All in all, I'm looking forward to the upcoming chapters.

The start was very intriguing. It really pulls you in with the pain and suffering that the FL experienced.

The love of her family and how they tried hard to protect her. Than, the novel turned into something else.

I’m not sure exactly what to say. The beginning was good. The way her previous life’s skills are being used in the new world was nice but the author brought out something else. After learning about FL pain, it goes into a totally different story. It became boring.
I kinda wish the author... more>> started from the “event” and showed how she worked hard to get better and how her family protected her. Instead, we get an after action report where we don’t see the pain her family felt when FL was hurt. There is no emotional link to the FL family nor anyone close to her. The emotions that the beginning brought dried up.
The first parts give this a 5 for me, the rest... I cannot get into so drop that by 2.

I do suggest everyone read the beginning because it was good. Once you get to the section that is boring, you can let go and look for other novels out there. <<less

As other reviewers mention, the MC is a very amazing character. The way this story is turning out to be is interesting and different from the norm, as a lot of these otome like novels are always so similar in their "fluffy" feelings. However this one feels a lot more believable in characters and has realistic situations that would occur from said characters. I hope that the story continues to generate an original take on the genre and proves to be unique from the other otome based novels out there.

so far, the story's pretty interesting. One thing I need to address though is that it feels like it's a bit rushed. It would've made it so much better, in my opinion, if the author the wrote the story with a bit of a slower pace and better describe Mizuki's experiences and not just saying that it was painful.

Its nice for an otome game reincarnation.

The MC is clever with maturity and thinking of adult. She regards her past life with a little bit indifference and knows how to face her situation with her current identity.

I donk know about the ML but, the clever MC alone is already a nice touch within the story.

First of all I'm not a native English speaker so, im sorry for the bad English.

This novel reminds me of [Kenkyo, Kenjitsu o Motto ni Ikite Orimasu] but the opposite of it.

What I mean of opposite is everything!

... more>> Unlike in [Kenkyo (omitted) ] the supposed to be Villainess Mizuki is a complete 180* opposite of Reika-sama. But comparing them is blasphemous considering their own worshipers lurking in the net so lets skip on that.

Although im only at Chapter 17 I find it interesting as it has a refreshing new type of Villainess Daughter concept on it that make it unique to other novel although the concept is the same as [Kenkyo (omitted) ] but it was the opposite of it so it was still unique.

Rating: 4/5 or 7.5/10

For now lets leave at that because there only few chapters and looks like its gonna take years before we can see half of the story. <<less

This is a really nice reading material. The crossdressing was refreshing and the conversation was entertaining. I just hope it's not the usual reverse harem plot.

It's not as interesting as the summary or first chapter would suggest. Perhaps I dropped it too soon, but there has only been fluffy dialogue with boring 2-D characters. Aside from the MC, the other characters have shown little depth thus far with hints of a developing a harem. The writing is weak. The action isn't written in an active, heart-pounding manner, and there is nothing pulling me into the plot. I was lured in by a cross-dressing woman trying to survive the plot of an otome game like in... more>> I Reincarnated as a Noble Girl Villainness, but Why Did It Turn Out This Way? or something more humor-based. That said, there isn't much plot, much drama, much comedy, or much action to make it any fun at this point. Perhaps things change farther on, but this series has no strong points this far in. <<less
