Basically its a multiverse type of story. MC was originally a a system character which plays as a cannon fodder/villain. He manage to escape the shackles of the system and he goes to different planes and mess each up little by little to create a big mess in order to destroy the system that controlled him for a very long time. He met the ML in each planes, fall in love, and spends time with each other until death (usually).

Legit love this novel. I couldn’t put this down for 3 while days. I woke up to read this and stayed up till 3 in the morning.

Warning!!! If you want to read this, it is recommended to do so during breaks/ vacation. It is detrimental to your grades if you do so when you have school.

Love how, in the first half, the ML was the one chasing the MC by then by the end the MC is the one actively seducing the ML. It just makes me want to go:... more>> “ You.... go get your man!!!!” <<less

Good novel BUT..

The first half of this novel..

It's collection of short acts. Each act has (almost) no relation with previous act. Just the MC that traveled from one scene setting (world) to another scene setting.

... more>> There is no world building (they're already built). Minimal characters development. Other characters are just being there, waiting for His Majesty, the Super Power MC, to stomp them until being the mudly shit.

That's what's the most conflict in this supposed-to-be-good Novel. The MC is assigned the cannon foddler role. But in every arcs, he is face-slapping Super MC, while the real MC, ML, MF of each arc are nothing but background passer-by or stepping stone. Funny is that the background theme (since act #1) has stated many times that MC must not cause drastic change to the world because his action will arise suspicion from God and will quit him. But in every act, it ends with MC turned from the pure dumb-ass to world-dominate, even changing the fate of that world. But nothing happens. Hrrrmmm.

However, it's not something we see

After the very boring and full-of-plot-holes of firdt half, the world building starts.

There is (almost) no love/emotion development between MC and his lover. They just meet each other, kiss, exchange liquid before jumping in to bed for s*x. No emotion involved at all (except forced-by-author emotion). He sees him, his c*otch pain from congestion, can't think of nothing but r*pe. Could that be called love? Oh, girl! That's boy love ??!!

You may skip some act (s) without nothing lost. For example the 5th act, the IRAS-like act, etc

There is no love but s*x.

The best act, 9th, the Apocalypse, has no s*x but love.

That's why this novel does have 2/5.

IF the writer dropped such forced-down-the-throat boring, repeatitive words filling, love scenes, the novel could go to 2.5/5.

IF the writer also dropped the summarized story telling style, it'd be 3/5.

They made it so that anyone could enjoy this book.
    • It wasn't a cliche story, making it draw us in.
    • There were different types of scenarios, so everyone could enjoy
    • They focused on the plot, but still added many lovey-dovey parts, making us not tired of the story at all
I read it anytime I had the chance for 2 weeks straight!! I even pulled

an all-nighter. The hubby is so lucky to have such a dedicated man.

This novel was top notch. I’ve never read anything like it. The two main characters are so vicious it gives me chills. I don’t even mind that there isn’t a lot of smut in it. It’s just awesome and it’s a crime not to read it.

In fact I’m going to reread it now. Even though I just finished reading it

I absolutely love this novel ~ <3

First of all, I am not fan of yaoi genre. I used to have best friend who was total rotten woman and I naturally got exposed to BL, so I got somewhat immune to it and don't really hate it but yaoi / shonen ai didn't interest me and I newer became fujoshi myself.

Reason why I decided to give this novel a try is because I just caught up on another transmigration story's translated chapters and was in the mood to devour some more... more>> similar novels. This novel had the highest amount of recomendations and I thought to bury my slight amount of rejection towards the genre and jump straight on to it and now I'm glad I did

:)

Story itself consist 16 different story arc's and although some of them I found slightly boring they were minority and it don't affect my rating because rest of the plot more than enough made up for it. At first story arc's seem to stand alone just fine and could be read in whatever order reader wants to, however subtle hints that everything is part of bigger plot start since the arc 2. So reading this novel in order is recomended.

Here are the short summaries of the arc's for people looking for info of them.
    • 1 (Business tycoon) Starting arc, introducing overall plotline and how tragic and op / mary sue the MC is. MC frees himself from system's s*avery and starts counterattacking it while hiding himself outside of it control. Business world story, meets and seduces the 'heroine' and uses his unparalled technological knowledge to skrew over his foes.
    • 2 (Black hearted lotus) Family story, MC becomes adopted member of ml's family on the verge of being conspired against and kicked out of the house. Story elements are: peeping, autism, child abuse, painting, scheming, cheating. Hints that male lead is the same person as in the previous story.
    • 3 (Space reincarnation girl) Ancient times Imperial palace story, MC reincarnates as female protagonist's supposed to be cannon fodder, but become's court official instead. Female protagonist has a beef with mc's sister so she conspire's againts mc's whole family and tries to ruin them.
    • 4 (Poor rich second generation) School / entartaintment world story, MC reincarnates into poor and vain gold digger whose original destiny was to become rich kids plaything and eventually resort to prostitution just to survive. MC gets entangled into shady side of the entartaintment business to get money to live and get revenge againts his 'boyfriend' who tries to ruin him.
    • 5 (Fighting the cross-over wife) Ancient times story, MC becomes ger, a fictional male species who can somehow give birth and are basicly treated like women but are more sought after by being more fertile. Mc's father made the original body hide his gender as a ger in order to live better life and his love rival is a man from modern times reincarnated as a ger.
    • 6 (Face of the music king)
    • 7 (Double rebirth attack)
    • 8 (The next top supermodel)
    • 9 (End of the world duplication)
    • 10 (Copying a western fantasy)
    • 11 (Copying an ABO)
    • 12 (Copying immortal cultivation)
    • 13 (Back to the beginning)
    • 14 (Twins of different fates)
    • 15 (Cuckold emperror)
    • 16 (The real world)

This novel is fun and well written. At its core, the novel consists of 16 short stories with a coat of paint that ties each story together (the MC and ML's souls are the same between stories). Each individual short story is interesting and well done. They are short enough where it doesn't get too stale. However, after reading the same plot in 15 different contexts (MC is smart/perfect and gets revenge on people who wronged him while falling in love with the ML), it does get a bit old.

The... more>> MC is probably the best part of the series. In most Chinese BL novels, the Shou is usually clueless and gets tricked/forced by the ML into a relationship. However, in this series, The MC was always gay and knew what he wanted and often takes the initiative to seduce the other party.

One downside is that the translation for this novel is abysmal. It's probably one of the worst translations I've read to date. They do MTL translations without much editing, so a bunch of stuff doesn't even make sense. Names of characters will change on a paragraph by paragraph basis. Would highly recommend reading the RAWs if possible. <<less

Wonderful story full of emotion and great face-slapping moments. The plot sucks you in and after reading the first story segments it become even harder to put down. The name changing constantly was a bit confusing to begin with but gets easier once you get more into the story.

It takes time, but after a few worlds, the story grows on you. The worlds are interesting, the faceslapping is satisfying, the main character is OP and rational, the love interest is possessive and sticky, and the romance, comedy and tragedy is on point.

I think the way the ML is always falling in love first is the main reason why I love this novel :)

Edit: I actually see this story more as 3 stars than 5 after a long time of not reading this. There are only 3 out... more>> of the 15 worlds that I have reread over and over again. The rest are really...... cheesy. I didn't see it at first, but this novel is really cheesy with it's plot and characters. They sometimes come out flat except for the three worlds that I like because the MC was forced to become someone more dimensional than he really is. I felt like saying this because of the many five star ratings given for this novel that I think would change if they had to reread this. It's an overall good story to get into BL and into the quick transmigration genre, but it's certainly not something to read after reading so many other stories on this website. <<less

This story is great. It has a lot of different sub-stories (with different plots) which keep me entertained. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the ending. Through all the things they've went through, the ending was certainly not satisfactory. It felt lacking. With the rollercoaster of emotions from early chapters, the ending paled in comparison. For me it did not really tie the story to an end that wrapped the whole universes the MC and ML has hone through. I deducted two stars for the ending.

The story, however, was fun.... more>> I have a few personal favorites, and I'm sure other readers would have too. It's a fun story, the smut is not as descriptive as others (mostly implying) bu5 I enjoyed it nonetheless. <<less

The book has ended and I just give you one warning.

Don't read it.

It's way too good, you'll cry tears of joy and when you finish it nostalgia just overwhelms you and you wonder why did this end.
    • It's so sweet, you can see the love between the MC and ML. It shows how daring can one go and how funny it can be lol.
    • Addictive, addictive. Now that the novel is done, you'll find yourself reading the full book in one day and cry sad tears that it ended.
    • Emotional bonding, you feel like you are one with Yun Sheng. The author slowly makes us enjoy the pain by anticipating the big picture and gives us the pleasure of seeing the fate sons in pain. It's a beautiful pleasure.
    • You'll wonder why this ended and never get over it. You'll smile randomly and cry randomly, so advised to read alone.
    • The strategies are ACTUALLY good, the ML and the MC have amazing intelligence, to the point you'll be like bravo.
    • The arcs are short and sweet, which makes you happy and sad wanting for more.
Many thanks to Kez for translating this amazing, wondrous novel, it's really amazing.

Plus, you would find no cringe or no less-excitement while re-reading it, re-reading worth 10/10. No novel has ever gotten this much to me. The final arc had me crying. Also, one arc will give you nightmares, prepare yourself for it.

The story is really addicting because of the following factors:

  • The first completed BL that I have ever read.
  • The MC is really adorable and super smart (well, of course! That's to be expected of a hacker)
  • He can do everything but not that OP because je's super OP but not to that extent that will make you cringe just the moderate one
  • No f*cking drama (Thank God!). If there is, its not irritating and annoying.
  • The ML is yandere about the MC
  • The MC uses his brain to exploit the ML aheemmm
  • The ML is an animal in heat, a pe*vert.....
  • The ML is the typical super ML that could rival an emperor
There are only 2 things that tha I am dissatisfied with

  • When the ML is in love with an Omega and when the real Orr Assai is. So s*upidly in love with who*e and for making The MC jealous
  • I'm REALLY dissatisfied with the reality arc or the last arc because first, the end of the arc seems a little bit forced or because its treated as if it was the same with different worlds and I thought the reality arc would be more elaborate that the rest because diuhhh its where the ML comes to life. Second, its the end of the novel. Well, I'm really irritated while typing this because of the latter reason..

This book is absolutely amazing! The plot is just wonderful and the way the story flows is very engaging. Every arcs/chapters are written extremely well and I can't help but fall in love with MC and ML! All their interactions (and the way MC deals with charas) are all very satisfying.

This one of the best BL I've read. I highly recommend this~! The plot is well developed and MC is smart and lovable (not annoying at all). And you'll have so much fun reading this~ (◜◒◝) ♡

Totally awesome! I have never been so desperate for an update ever before than during this story. The translator gives high quality translations and updates by arc which is amazing. Just read it, give it a chance!

Even if you aren’t a fujoshi (totally a fujoshi here) you should still read it, since the explicit stuff isn’t included, it’s onlyimplied, kinda sad about that.

Don't read the review anymore, just go and read the novel directly!!! I guarantee a refreshing story line! I've rarely review any novel... But this novel deserve it!

Now I'm craving for a similar genre. But none of those as good as this one!

At most, I found a similar one, but to be honest... I hate a female MC. So I'll just stick with this one.

While waiting for a new world update... I just reread everything... And I didn't feel bored of it... I have reread it about.... 4 or 5... more>> times? Ah, I don't remember anymore.

This is my favorite novel!

It's so good that I won't be able to do it justice by even try to describe it but I can say that the translations are good and that the MC is clever and cunning and charismatic and awesome and beautiful and... This can go on forever..

Anyway you have probably already got the gist of it from reading that other reviews so I will just say that reading this one will be the best choice you have ever made, it's so awesome!!

One of the best books I have ever read! The MC never forgets his real reason in the world whether or not the ML is with him or not. He is the best MC ever! And the ML is absolutely superb as well. He is super possessive, obsessed and kind of (ok, completely) Stalker-like with MC. A bit of a border-line Yandere maybe?! But please note that there is no abuse. No non-con or r*pe or assualt or threats or abuse at all. The ML dotes on the MC and... more>> the MC is too OP and has too much self-respect to tolerate any of the above.

This is yaoi genre and it's perfect! The translation is also awesome! <<less

One of the best BL novels that I have read. You will never get bored reading this as this novel encompases a lot of different themes from modern world, to historical, to Zombie apocalypse, to western fantasy, ABO and a lot more. Once you started reading this you will get hooked and reread it until a new update comes. I also like how the chapters are divided. 1story per chapter subdivided into many parts. It makes it easier to reread the chapters you liked the best. The top three chapters/stories... more>> that I like best are story 4, 5 and 11.

If you like Cool OP MC, an obsessive and possesive male lead, 1v1, multiple universe then I highly recommend you to read this. <<less

i just came here to say that the translator en mass updates every arc in one go, which is amazing! thanks to them, I might've become a little spoiled in wanting mass updates every time lmao

edit: Anyways the novel is pretty okay. ive read it countless of times, I fell in love with system novels because of this, but I can't shake off the feeling of it not being... good. Don't get me wrong, the OPness of the MC is admirable but there's absolutely *nothing* exciting. His OPness takes away... more>> any dose of excitment because you *know* he's going to own everyone. it's boring.

I went from loving this novel and even calling it my inspiration for my old fic, only to realize how much I hated this kind of story.

Saying that the characters fall in love too quickly is like throwing an egg onto a stone, it's quick transmigration afterall, so all I have left to say is that it's bland. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I think I just grew out of this "OP MC, 1v1 love, pure jade ML/MC pair" because it seems so unrealistic.

  • In short, Im not going to bash people for liking it but I am going to say that I, on the otherhand, don't see the appeal of QWTFOD anymore.
