Ch 7: Princess is convinced by protagonist that Yuto is a jerk, and wants to break off the engagement. She also receives a "hair ornament" (Google Translate goofing) from the protagonist. Later, the kind, older servant he was working with tells him that the princess loves him, and she even takes care of the "hair ornament" as if it were a treasure. On a different day, they go to town, leading to the princess and protagonist confessing, leading to kissing, and then to doing the frickey dickey.

Ch 8-14: Unmemorable filler covers most of it: planning with the King to strike back at the Hero because that guy was an as*hole to everyone, apparently. Hero + Friends defeat Demon Lord and come back, and by then the protagonist is a governor-in-training, or something like that. Mina and Hero make fun of him, and force him to come with them to complete the King's final task for them: parade around to other countries (part of the plan to get revenge).

When there, the King strips the Hero of his power (as it's revealed the Hero's power was granted by him), and then the country he visits was lied to believing that the Hero was to do a military match up in that country. Not told of this, the Hero is confused, but nonetheless agrees. Without his power though, he gets winded very easily, and was almost defeated by his opponent. Then, he's told he has to go visit 3 (7?) (Google Translate goofing) countries and do the same thing. On the final one, the protagonist is the Hero's opponent, and the Hero gets ruthlessly beaten up by the protagonist who is on a rant about wanting the Hero to feel his pain when Mina betrayed him. He ends with saying the Princess no longer loves him, the Hero.

The Hero + Friends (Mina and harem) don't believe him, and go to the King. The King jebaits them into thinking the engagement was on, but then says "Nope, you've been an as*hole to everyone. Especially now that I know you planned the attack on my daughter." The princess does the same thing, and says that she thought she loved Yuto, but realizes it was only because she wanted to love him since she believed reality was like a fairy tale. Now though, she loves the protagonist.

Hero gets mad and tries to punch the protagonist with his one good arm (his other got broken in the previous battle against the protagonist, this meeting happened right after that fight). He expectedly gets thrashed and humiliated in front of everyone. Then, the King tells the Harem they lost their power as (Sword/Magic/etc.) Princesses because their power came from the Hero. And now, they would be punished by serving as commanders in the worst possible castle that borders directly with Demon territory.

They reluctantly agree, but Mina says she quits. She also asks for a private conversation with the protagonist. There, she apologizes for what she did, for betraying him like that. The protagonist does a mega jebait, saying he loved her very much, and his heart was devoted to her, but then, as expected, says that his heart was broken by her, and it would never mend. He overcame the pain, but he'd never forgive her. She cries and runs. The end. No, seriously, that's the ending.

MC get back his pride, from a low level human being, he become splendid human being

as for the hero, his harem and MC childhood sweetheart they become commoner where their name forgotten

the hero lose all his power and become army of country. not married

hero companion become concubine of other. the other one not married missing

and especially childhood sweetheart live in regret become nun but MC don't care even after she send letter "I'm sorry" "good bye" MC don't care and let go all feel for her completly where most story I meet either kill them all without care how MC seen by other or try to get back cultivate feel.... euuuh.

it is totally different, in that story MC steal other fiancee and after that he leave her with her countryman roam the world pick new girl and forget that girl... that story is t***h! he don't have right to revenge isntead he should live in regret.

there is only one other story have the same kind of revenge end it is a korea manhwa "my kingdom (silent war) "
