Although the plot twist and other parts of the story seems rushed and underwhelming, its a fairly good read. Absolutely recommended if you're a sucker for fantasy/female protagonist novels.

Now I understand why I like this story. Aside from the character development, very fluffy baka-couple. The twist is just what I once thought to write to my own story! and I like how it play out in this.

Only problem now is I want more. Is there bonus chapter or anything coming up?

Good story. Protagonist is not OP from the start, and I don't know, how much power will he gain and how much will he need. There is no exsessive fan service. Human relationship have a good flow. Pretty realistic fantasy story. It is pleasant to read.

This is my first time writing a review here, so that says something about this story right off the bat. I may not be super eloquent in my review so bear with it, but these are my heart felt impressions of a story I greatly enjoyed.

I admit, I was not expecting to like this story and picked it up on a whim because it had an interesting description and had been stuck in my backlog for awhile now.

To my surprise, what lay beneath the surface was a story that gripped... more>> me from the beginning and caused me to binge read in two days, leaping out of no where to right up there among my favorite romance novels I've read.

The story is both well paced, and just long enough, yet leaves you wanting more. The story never rushes itself, but it also never gets bogged down in stagnation. It has a good balance of fluffy moments and tear markers, as well as emotional battles and action. The translation is very high quality and lovingly and faithfully done, thanks for the quality translation.

While the ending was expected, it still manages to come in a way and with enough twists to still be surprising. The story was surprisingly deep and the characters all very likeable and complex with their own motivations and histories. The characters were complex and deep.

The romance story was well written and the character relationships well developed. The only thing I'm left with is wishing there was more or a longer epilogue/post story.

I'm left not wanting to leave this world and the characters in it, wanting to see how their lives and relations develop further.

Would love to purchase an official english copy and support the author. <<less

There's no real reason for anyone to not pick it up. It's a short read, and if you have the time and an average reading speed, this should be finished in 2 days at the very least. Overall the novel itself is somewhat predictable towards the end. I'm going to say this straight up right now, if you're looking for a fantasy novel with tons of action, this is most definitely not for you. There are only ever 2 fights in the entirety of the 70 chapters, with the plot... more>> mostly progressing through the constant buildup of mysteries. That being said, really well done novel with good pacing that can be finished pretty much immediately. <<less

Maybe i'll 5☆ it its just...I wish there was more... life as a married couple maybe? This story was good but I really want more lovey dovey moments uwu Just disappointed that the story ended after their confession uwu

I mean that plot twist at the end and how everything connects. This is a good read ♡♡♡ not the best, but nonetheless it was an engaging story. Good character developments too albeit lacking since it ended too soon for me. I wish there was more interaction on how the ML fell... more>> in love with the MC and vice versa...

Still recommended for those who want action, romance, and slight gender bender trope

Wow. This one.

Great translation. I don't know who BigTray is, but I hope this person continues to translate in the future. It was a pleasure to read.

The story was a bit slow to ramp up, but once it got going, I was satisfied, then teary, then wanting to skip work to finish reading.

I'm so glad this wasn't all ecchi, like many with a GenderBender tag have been in the past.

Really brilliant story, with far more depth than I expected - both intellectual and emotional. Though it takes a little while to settle into itself - it's worth following through with it even if the first part leaves you a little unsatisfied.

The writing is good. Solid at the start, then over the course of the story it settles down and becomes really good. Pacing is similar - at times a little slow, at times maybe a little fast, but again it improves through the course of the story. The author's... more>> growth is there to be seen and appreciated, which is a nice bonus.

The translation is very solid, with the same provisos about improvement over the lifetime of the project. It's clear, easy to read, and feels like it's capturing the essence of the story well.

All told, this is absolutely worth reading. <<less

Very, very intriguing story idea. The execution might not be to the liking of everyone, especially not people who go by tags like gender bender, adventure or romance and expect standard tropes. This story is different. It's not so much about the story itself -- although I pretty much liked it myself -- but much more about the psychological and philosophical context underlying the story idea. Well this story has it good points and it's bad points, but over it was more than am average but I wouldn't consider to be the top of my favourites.

This novel story does has depth and the last few chapters were something, especially the last chapter, it stirred some complicating emotions which I'm still pretty confused with, I felt like I lost the character that I was enjoying a lot to this new character and was really shopping chris and Leon, ... more>>

Chris did get with Leon and all, but how Chris was exposed to many memories of others it felt like we lost core Chris, even tho at the end we did see core Chris come out a bit, but it was like it was a [redacted] version of her, so I understand she didn't really know how to act because of all the memories, but I didn't not like the plot twist of how she became like that it was more to lacking the chapters to help understand the change or the complex feelings going on or have her come to terms and that would have clarified my emotions as well towards this ending.

I don't have a clear mind atm, finding it quite hard to process. I understand the whole plot "I love you for you, no matter what", I also feel like Leon did see her core in there, but I feel like... I can't quite comprehend it right now, emotionally. I need to process it.

Definitely a very good read!!!!

Its more of supernatural mystery psychological genre. A bit of gender bender. Its definitely mind blowing. Its that moment when you feel like you finally discovered the truth and then there comes the plot twist!!!!

Its not your typical gender bender novel its more of psychological where the MC wants to find herself, her memories, her true self.

well I think Chris herself knew that she is really "Chris" but denies it because she has those multiple memories of other people that she believes that she is just fake born from those memories. Well for me she is not fake, I mean before when she thought she is just "Chris", she dreams some memories of Christine so I think its good enough reason to tell that she is really the real "Chris

A really well written story, good plot and full of mistery until the end, very philosopical as well, the ending seems a bit sad but everyone can interpret it in different way, overall deserve the rateing.
about the ending, my interpretation is:

About the ending I think the author at first try to mislead you thinking that our beloved MC is nomore and that now he is replaced by an other entity, yet if you think about it that is not true, the MC since the start is the swamp girl that has a mixture of Chris and Christine memories, not Chris, after the MC discover that he was not Crish, she "broke" but that is only like she went trough a depression, she did not die or disappear, after Tetra take control of her body she even says that the old owner did not die, she was still there, after Tetra defeat, MC than woke up thinking that she is no longer the MC from the start of the story, she thinks so only cause she absorbed the memories of Allie and Tetra, but doing so does not kill her older version, she just got new memories but she did not lose the feelings and memory she had before... she was the swamp girl at the start of the story and in the end she still remains the swamp girl the only difference is some extra memories that s all that happened...i think she later understand it as well after hearing what Leon says tp her and she get the happy ending

I am usually put off by the gender bender tag because usually the romance in the story feels squeamish (no hate), but this story makes it work. The plot was fairly lacking but I found the character development of the MC to be great. People are created by their experiences, shaped by every memory, but Chris suddenly has a whole new body to work with and his interactions in that body are amusing, a little confused, and definitely heartfelt. The interaction between the characters felt a little forced, but the... more>> romance was not lacking and the story ended on a high note. If you care more about the development of the MC rather than the plot or the development of the relationships between the characters, this book is for you.

There are cute scenes where the romance develops, but the romance proceeds slowly and is not marked by any physical contact. Don't let the gender bender tag put you off!

I gave it a 5 but it honestly deserves more of a 3 or a 4. Unfortunately, I know that there are just so many crappy novels with high grades that many (myself included) will only read a novel if it has a rating above 4. I want to keep this novel's rating above 4 so I am purposely rating it higher.

Ok was slightly weird feeling story. Closest I can relate to is like Daybreak in Hyperion except less war and more romance and psychological and stuff. It follows the everyday life and drama of a 'former guy' girl.

In the end, instead of gender bender, more like mind bender though.

A very fulfilling read. I felt heart-warmed with every chapter an compelled to read even further. The story has twists and turns making it interesting. Some parts of it fell flat for me and i'd give it a 4.5 but can't do that with the rating system here so 5 is what it gets.

The novel is fantastic. The stiry flows nicely, the characters all get development

(even the side characters). Would reccomend this ro anyone. The only thing is the wordpress site seems down at the moment. Hopefully the trnaslator will fix it soon!

I have to say gender bender is definitely not my cup of tea.... but srly the story is really good well paced, fleshed out main chara, bad guys you can hate, since its to early to tell I won't rate it as of yet but try this novel out cause its got the makings of a diamond in the rough~ desu~
