In my opinion, this is the best BL story ever!!! Everything else is second. Because of this story, I fell in love with BL and transmigration stories.

YOU HAVE TO READ THIS!!!

Translator did a good job!

I read this story and I just can't get enough! The MC is really smart. OP! But you know you like it! Just a right mix of OPness! ML is cute too!! Just try this, you will never regret it! I welcome myself to the world of BL. And there is no going back!

First of all: This is the first novel of this kind that I read, and as I understand, the way the story is written (character desriptions etc) are pretty much supposed to be that way, so while it was a bit strange to me, I did not make that influence my ranking.

So...

This was a story that was actually pretty enjoyable. Given the MC's background his bitterness and wish to get revenge is pretty understandable. He is a bit of a mary sue, but given the setting and background his knowledge... more>> is not just a handwave thing, but you can actually see where it is coming from (he was pretty primed for the marysue-ness before becoming teh victim too however). Given that I knew what I was getting into from the description I wasn't actually botered by it. In fact I liked it as it seemed like a reasonable consequence (meaning that it's probably not mary sue)

There is only one big critique I had for this:

The characters fell incredibly flat. Not the MC and the LI who gets more and more fleshed out as the story progressed, but the side characters and antagonists. They were very one dimensional and everything that was perceived by other's to be good about them was because of their "protagonistness". More diverse characters would have probably caused me to give 5 stars instead of four. To be fair, this does improve as the story goes on, and in one of the later chapters I actually liked some of the people who were technically against the MC too! So don't let the initial flatness of the characters turn you off this story.

Another weak point was the ending. Not in the way that I found myself dislike it in general, in fact the setup was very well done, and the protagonists plotting doesn't only begin in the last chapter. I just thought that leaving out the rival love plot in the end would have done wonders for it and made the whole thing more final and not just another instance of the protagonist showing off. The way the LI thing was resolved was well done however, I especially liked the name he chose in the end. It was my fav setting!

First I read about rebirth of usually chinese story in wattpad, until it somehow lead to this novel. All the reviews kept saying this novel is the best.. And im so glad I read this piece of beautiful story. It not enough of 15 arc, , I want more, 100 different and unique world please!

Ahhh! This novel is so good! The MC's personality is so cool and sexy. ;) He's not some weak and timid MC that is utterly useless and actually has quite a sad past being trapped inside of the horrible system. He's amazing but not overly over powered as he still has mishaps here and there. But I find it very sweet and adorable whenever the MC meets with the ML and they get together.

I like the MC because he's a bad ass and he's not afraid to expose himself.

The story... more>> line is wonderful and its written out very nicely, its just that the last chapter seemed kind of rush and I wish that there was more to it but *sigh* at least they get a GE right? But they could've added more details tbh.

Highly recommend to read as it's very intriguing and will keep you hooked on and see what happens next!

The translator's translation is very easy to read and they leave understandable foot notes at the bottom, which is very helpful to have and their explanations are also very good.

Both of the personalities of the MC & ML are extremely alluring and likeable. There is absolutely no way you can ever hate them. Every move that the MC made were well-thought out and planned, definitely letting those evil and greedy humans getting their deserved ending (though some of them you may feel heartache for).

MC may be harsh, but all are supported well with proper reasoning. He display goodwill towards people who does not hold any ill-intention towards him and treat those that were loyal and kind to him generously... more>> by providing them with good life and etc.. (Sorry for the lack of my English ability to describe)

He can be ruthless, but he is smart, sexy, cheeky, sweet and lovely.

The ML on the other hand, he's a s*x bomb I swear. He's so hot and sexy. I can't even describe - anymore. He's extremely dedicated and loyal to the MC. No matter where the MC went, he will be there. He is such a possessive yet sweet lover. He loves the MC so much that I literally can feel it from my screen (SCREAAAAMS). He's really lusty tho- >///< He can't stand the thought of anyone touching or getting too close to his MC and if he ever catch that happening, oh boi, the other party's gonna get it rough (not the MC) ! That being said, he can be cute at times too!

I still have more to say but I don't want to expose too much (I prob did but there's more to experience!!). I want you all that haven't read this yet to go and do it now! Feel the love together with us satisfied, melted fans!!

PLEASE JUST READ IT!!! If you don't fall in love with this novel, I'm --- I will be SHOOK and I'll probably shout "WHYYYYYYYY HOWWWWW WHAT THE HECK" and get reported by my neighbours for being a nuisance but opinions respected--

The plot was alright but writing and character building was very well done. I could easily imagine every world. MC&ML also has an emotional bind that quite reasonable. Thanks to Keztranslations's great effort, English version was very smooth to read. This novel will be published in my country soon and I'm looking forward to have it in my collection! ^O^

It's complete! This a great face-slapping story in which our MC travels to many worlds and always ends up getting sweet, sweet revenge on all of the arrogant, evil, scheming, and s*upid protagonists. The best thing about it is that he never directly kicks the protagonis off their pedestal, instead he prefers to give them enoug rope then wait until they hang themselves. Every time the protagonist does something underhanded, he's there to make sure it blows up their faces. It's super satisfying!

OMG! I love this story so much. I love how the MC doesn't get everything given to him and he works hard to compete against the Final boss.

The gong and the shou both put effort into the relationship. This story includes pretty much all romance scenarios between them which spices up their affection for eachother. The story is awsome, the translation is like on point, scenes are great, the main characters are favorites, and you won't get bored. I'm already planning to reread this novel a lot. I think it's my favorite yaoi and pretty much up there for my romance genre novels. LOVE IT!! I seriously recommend this. I just wish they release extras or something. I miss them already!

It's come to the end yet the two leads' sedulity, perfections, unique personalities, pillar strength love & much left to describe in details in every reincarnation of exciting, facinating, mangetic, marvelous lives vividly coming across my mind whenever thinking of FOD. I loved the story. For me everything except for one thing was beautiful. It was when the MC and ML come together but the thing is, this story just teases you and leaves you there to die of anger. I would say I come to yaois for the s*x but this story was too good and the little blemish it had was shadowed by the great story line.

I don't want this story to end! This is the best one that I've read, so refreshing and gives novel feeling. LOVE this one.

The way the pairing interacts with each other is just so cute. So lovey-dovey that I would be melted by their passion.

In my opinion the beginning sections were great, but the end was not as awesome as I thought it would be. I love this novel. This is the best novel I have ever read. It has feelings, romance, drama, thought, and work put in.

Recently (in 2024), I reread it. I have to say, I don't like half of the story arcs. In those I didn't like: The male lead (ML) is portrayed as either a pe*ophile or a creep, or sometimes even both. The high ratings mainly come from those who are either new to this genre of novels or simply don't mind and consider non-consensual acts (r*pe) as romantic as long as it is the ML.

I really really wanted to give this more than 3 stars, but as much as I liked it I also disliked a lot about it.

lets start with what I liked.

Originally I disliked the MC, I thought he was kinda cringy and full of himself, too OP and all- however as I read the story I found that he had a lot of very real and genuine moments. He was kind to people and genuinely appreciated them, he was kind to children, he genuinely strived to avenge the OG bodies and... more>> their wishes, and he cared for his lover and was so genuinely happy to find him.

Another thing I appreciated was each arc wasn’t insanely long until I got bored of it, I was able to read several arcs without wishing for it to end so we could move on.

MC played a lot of interesting characters, and he himself was pretty fun too.

Now for what I didn’t like.

To start off, MC has TERRIBLE taste in men lol. Why was the ML such a disgusting b4stard in so many arcs?

relating to that, I had to skip a few arcs because of the ML being.. how should I phrase this? Attracted to a child? Every time I started a new arc and it said the MCs host was a minor I always prayed “before him and the ML get weird they’ll make him grow up right? At least turn 18 first?” Nope.
In one arc the MC says something along the lines of “forcing a minor is a crime” (MC being 17 iirc, ML being 20-30 range) like author... maybe you should read your own text huh? The blatant p3dophila had me skipping so many arcs I’m surprised I lasted so long reading tbh. I enjoyed almost every arc where he was a grown man like he should be. “He’s mentally 1000+ years old and his OG body is 19” idc, the way the author seems to fetishize young boys was tragic considering how I otherwise enjoyed the novel.

I both enjoyed and got annoyed by the MCs OP-ness. One thing I didn’t like was how he made whatever the original host was/had 1000x better or whatever, which for some reason almost always included him becoming the most attractive person in the world, aka “milky white jade-like skin, perfect red lips, deep beautiful shiny teary eyes blah blah blah” Like I thought it was funny and agreed with him being all “all I care about is looking beautiful” but bffr, I was so tired of that sentence lol.

I thought it was funny how the MC had spoken about being good at everything after acting out so many characters and having learned and perfected so many trades of all kinds, but then in one arc (the apocalypse/zombie arc I believe) he says something about having never had any experience in the medical field.

ALSO, sick and tired of the whole white lotus attitude, I really enjoyed the arcs when MC played a mean/cold character- finally something different, an actual personality.

In the end, I really wanted to give this novel a higher rating, but I just had a lot of problems with it and eventually I gave up, I really wanted to stick through to the end but I just couldn’t handle the p3dophilic tropes and all. <<less

This was one of my first novels I read, I literally come back to read a random arc every single month since finishing it. It's an actual masterpiece, as I read it over and over again that's the realization I've come to. Even after I read other quick transmigration novels nothing can top this novel.

This book just effin waste my time, and so overrated. Every arc is not even entertaining and just full of h**ny ML and questionable actions that the MC or other characters did.

Don't read this if you don't want to fall to overrated story with no actual plot.

Overall I enjoyed the novel. MC, Zhou Yun Sheng, is a genius and pretty much overpowered from beginning of the novel. He uses his smarts and talents to face slap evil scum hand over fist. It is fun to see but does get repetitive if you read the novel in one go. So it's more enjoyable to have a day or two breaks between every 3-5 arcs.

The ML is always the same soul. However, in each world he doesn't remember his past encounters with MC. MC is able to recognize ML when they kiss... which makes things really interesting. 😏

MC's original body is comatose. Under the control of the Queen, aka Lord God, the AI's in MC's real world rebelled. MC's soul was taken out of his body by the Queen to grow enough for the Queen to consume.

BIG SPOILER...

ML is a self destruct program. He was suppose to kill the Queen if it went out of control. However, no one knew that the program existed and it wasn't started when needed.

Of Note: There is a noticeable inconsistency in the main characters' personality in some of the arcs. At times it felt like the author wrote the small stories first and found a way to thread those stories together. Also, some of MC's and ML's actions were outright immoral/criminal. Instead of owning up to it, the author attempts to whitewash or gloss over it. So yeah, just realize for yourself that it's a bad thing, don't believe the brain washing and don't condone the stuff in real life. <<less
