The MC was a low level thug who seems some what proficient at fighting, his family circumstances aren't great but not exactly absolute poverty level; he takes a job for 300, 000 won to assault a person who owes 20 million; gets into a fight and ends up getting caught by the police and eventually getting kicked from his school. He finds an opportunity (due to a friend) to work at a mma gym....

Initial Impression - the story flows well, good grammar and translation quality; seems like a slice of... more>> life/martial arts with believable realism.

No unreasonable amounts of descriptions so the story has nice pacing 4.6/5 for me. Better than I thought it would be from the synopsis. <<less

So far so good! It reminds me a bit of Hajime no Ippo as a 'professional life of an athlete' story. It's still very early, though, so while I'm giving it a 5 for now that could drop - I'm hoping to see some more character development and some side characters to be introduced that will keep the premise from getting dull in the longer run. In the short run, though, I'm fully satisfied.

I'm really enjoying this so far. It's only been 6 chapters but this is reminding me of great fighting mangas like Shamo or Holyland. If you have read/liked those 2 mangas, you will definitely enjoy this I believe. The first 1-2 chapters is a bit choppy, the MC being a dumbass gets involved in a gangster deal. Anyway, he ends up paying for it, by getting kicked out of school, and now the bad-assery starts, he eventually with the help of a friend starts working at a mixed martial arts... more>> dojo. Working as an errand boy, he is noticed by one of the owners as well as someone working there, from here I think it will start going up. I'm really hopeful for this jewel. I believe it will be among the top stories on fighting novels on NU if it continues as I suspect it will.. <<less
