The ‘villain of the otome game’, who is this referring to?

“Of course it’s me, Yukina.”

Then, what is this ‘villain’ referring to?

“One who interferes with the romance of the heroine with petty harassment and misdeeds, the type of person who’ll be hated by everyone.”

If so, why are there so many capturable targets gathering around you?

“…… I’m the one who wants to ask that… hurry up and lose your hearts to the heroine…”

Even the ‘heroine’ you were talking about seems to like you, why is that so?

“That’s precisely what I want to know!!”

This novel is hilarious! Yukina tries her best to be a villain and constantly tries to make the game heroine get the 'capture-able' characters not realizing that those characters actually love her. Yukina even tried to pretend to be the villain (like a proud noble) but Yuris actually blurted out to the game heroine that Yukina is acting out of character. Yukina was devastated when her facade of being a villain was revealed to the heroine. (Because she wanted to keep the plot XD by being the villain) Overall... more>> I reallly love this novel. I want to read more on how Yukina tried to push the capture-able characters together with the heroine while not realizing those characters actually likes her. What would her reaction be once she finds out? Hoping to read more. Thank you so much to the translator for this. <<less

Got turned off from the first chapter. They skipped so many details that it became confusing.

At first it was explained that the MC like this person call Yukaris, but MC is engage to the prince. After that it jumped and was said that MC had broken their engagement for who knows how. Then it seems that this Yukaris is trying to help the lost heroine which seems to be part of the event in the game. You will think the MC will plot something to make it so this event... more>> will not happen but for some reason, she seems to be trying her best to do the role of the villainess which will obviously will not let her get Yukaris..... and even though their engagement is broken, why is she still close to the prince? <<less

The general plot is interesting and the characters are generally funny. But there's not enough details and there are a lot of skips.. It feels like the author is rushing through the story. Otsukaresama to the TL though ^~^

Actually, the premise sounds interesting and I really hope that this will be different from other otome game stories that I've read before. Too bad, the writing style is so chaotic I barely be able to understand what this is all about.

I also don't know what MC was thinking. She wanted to be a villainess but she befriended all the capture targets that are supposed to be attracted to the heroine. Yes, you guess right, all the capture targets are attracted to MC instead of the heroine.

And poor the heroine.... more>> She falls in love with ML because of MC's intervention but is instantly brokenheart when she learns that ML is MC's fiance (which is something MC forgot to remember). <<less

Not really worth reading. The whole story could have been 2 chapters.

This is fan-fiction level of writing. The author still think it is acceptable to put in "cute" dialogues between themselves and the characters as author notes.

Is it possible to rate a negative score?

This is the worst villainess/transmigration/otome game novel I have ever come across. It is very clear that it is written by a juvenile who probably have a pink filter over her eyes regarding how the world works. It's basically just a fantasy reverse harem story of a girl who wants every guy she met to fall for her. Imagine if the role is reversed and it's a guy who got every girl he interacts with fall for him... yeah, not such a lovely... more>> sight now, is it?

The writing is so bad that I can barely make out which part is the narrative, which part is the MC's thoughts, and also there are a lot of inserts from other characters.

To sum up, it's f*cking confusing.

The story itself is... uneventful. Nothing really happens. No plot advancement. No character development. No nothing.

The best thing is probably that it's so boring it works as a sleeping pill for me for a couple of nights. <<less

The characters sounded interesting, but... everything was too messy and random. It was hard to follow along.

The MC felt REALLY DUMB. The rest of the cast felt like they were just WTF-ing the entire time, which would've been funny if executed properly. Also, there was no basis for the harem to like the MC? Like, there were sentences dropped explaining it, but it felt really flat. Like, "by the way, everyone gets along with the MC now."

Spoiler

The heroine has a random special ability? Outta nowhere?

The only point worth praising is that the protagonist recognizes that she destroyed all her own death flags but otherwise wants to see the game's normal story through. But if you want a story the protagonist accidentally derailing an otome game when she actually just wants to watch the hijinks I would recommend I'm Spying On The Heroine In An Otome Game World instead, which has much better character writing, pacing and humor.... And translation.

Quick but cute. It really needed more detailing for the characters since they weren't super memorable.

MC is a diehard otoge fan who becomes the villainess of the game she likes. She plans on being an ideal villainess so she can see the events and help the heroine get the reverse harem ending. Unfortunately for her, instead she comes off as cute and quirky and attracts everyone. Though at the end she shows she isn't a complete Bakarina.

This world is within a game. But everyone is alive and everyone has their own thoughts. You can't do what you want. Maybe this is not a game world, but another world similar to the game world.

When Yukina thought of that, she finally gave up on her Lilith's reverse harem plan and made a laugh since it can't be helped.

The heroine isn't exactly a snake like a lot of these villainess stories. Though I can't say she's a decent person either. She states that she KNOWS the prince has a fiancée but she still openly tells everyone she likes the prince until she finds out that the fiancée is Yukina who she likes just as much as the prince. Sooo... Okay? If she didn't like the prince's fiancée she was going to try and snatch him?

The capture targets were pretty funny. The prince kept getting random nosebleeds and turning red. It's a fun contrast to his high class prince visuals. I think the story would've been more entertaining if it was more of the capture targets' strange stalking behaviours and fanboy sessions. <<less
