“This guy, how heavy is his taste, he’s still able to eat?” Waking up, she looked at her reflection in the mirror, explosive hair, tattoos, and a demon-like face. Look at her for more than a second and you’ll have spicy eyes (your eyes will bleed-aka she looks really ugly).

Before her rebirth, she was in love with someone else, bent on escaping, and after having relations with him, hates him deep to his bones.

After her rebirth, she looked at the beauty on the bed, seriously thinking, the one who left his shadow in the past, seemingly should be him?

In her past life, her mind was muddled. She tried to get rid of the outstandingly beautiful husband that she didn’t want, was victimized by slag men and cheap women, and her most trusted friend brainwashed her. In the end, she found people rebelling and friends deserting (isolated and alone).

In this lifetime, all of the evil people scheming and longing for her divorce should yield. Sorry but this young miss’s IQ is on the line!

So yeah, i've skimmed through the reviews/comments (?) Idk then. I just notice some idk something 'bout it?. So lemme address some of it.I know some didn't like the story and some likes it, normal. But the way you threw thing bout the story is just lil bit mean (perhaps?) I suggest that before reading the story you must read the following context that was given bout it like the summary or the TAGS which gives you the basic idea of what to expect, for example the #obsessivelove that was... more>> put in there, which basically gives you idea that some characters or rather the main protagonist *one of them* might possibly have obsessive love thingy which some said to be overly *maybe you skip that and basically hoped for the ML to be fluffy wholesome dude who act cute all the time* (not dissimg it tho) but yeah idk, another one was the droping of reviews we get it, you didn't like it but there's conclusions of doing things like 'ignore it' if you didn't like the plot, the twist, the character development, or the character itself, bruh chill. That's the essense of it if you're tad bit cliché bout it then leave the story alone. If you haven't finished it yet or started it yet then firing fluffy guns and cotton bullets bruh go mtfn away.

and lastly, if you're expecting a story with straight fall in love then marry at the beginning (the wholesome fluffy find it somewhere else

"If you're readers doesn't undergo roller coaster emotion then the story is boring" mark it

I don't usually drop reviews but a good story deserves recognition with golds of applause <<less

The author should've divided this into 2 different novels.

Spoiler

YWW is more suited to be in the entertainment industry. We can see that she made plans and executed revenge well etc.

However in the independent state, the MC had zero idea on how to deal with her enemies!!! For example, around chapter 1300, she found out that Nie Linglong sent assassins to China to kill her. Ok the MC at that time didn't know her real identity and she didn't have enough power to deal with her enemy yet. And then she found out that NLL wanted to kill her brother Nameless Nie, all the MC did was to tell her brother to be careful. I understand that there's probably not much use in explaining it to him but at this stage in chapter 2144, the MC already found out her real identity, she have her fearless alliance and she have SYH's help and she have the rose of death's ring but she didn't do anything, no strategic plan whatsoever to keep her brother safe or to keep her Nie family's support!!!! She didn't even have any idea in dealing with the fake Worriless Nie. If it weren't for Feng Yuanyi's idea, the fake worriless would have became the Nie family's head. All the MC thought of when she's in the independent state is being with SYH!!! The MC is so useless!!!!!! I have dropped this novel 3 times, I just cannot stand the mc's effin overacting cute, it just about piss me off nearly to death because besides that, she have no other personality!!!

[collapse]

It's very painful reading about a female type of fatuous leader, all she does is bully her subordinates and think of how to take advantage of the ML. MC has zero character development, she actually went backwards. ML and other characters does have some character developments. It was only the MC that became unbearably idiotic. World building is ok. Poor emperor Ji, I guess the author just didn't want the MC to be labelled as having cuckolded emperor Ji so the author made emperor Ji die of terminal illness instead. <<less

honestly it was a entretaining read, although I there were some parts that were too long (like the second half) and I just skipped until I saw something interesting to me. Holy sht, my heart is aching so much for Ji, I found the MC and ML kinda funny and lovely but d*mn, emperor ji just broke my heart AGHH anyways I do find that it is kinda nonsensical how everything turns well but don't all the love stories have the same power? The characters are really likeable and yeah,... more>> as someone said, don't throw the whole novel away just after a few chapters because it really has a long plot behind although that obviously doesn't excuse r*pe but it was unfair to both of them honestly <<less

really enjoyed this one. It's too long, it's like a trilogy combined into one book. I'm not even kidding with the trilogy because it's like the genre suddenly changed as the plot thickens lol

~2.5 stars - There are some sweet and interesting moments (b/w the ML and FL and their kid or MC navigating in showbiz world), but far more nonsense chapters. Few of the interesting characters in earlier chapter are barely seen in latter half of the novel. Needlessly extended storyline by adding chapters full of same repetitive bad-jokes, and unfunny people. Lots of clowns dancing around and peanut galleries have a lot to say just to add drama to the eventual face-clapping... Halfway through, story switches from romance/showbiz to kinda Godfatherish/underworld... more>> genre...

Even if the ML and FL had an established relationship, it's not good of ML to force/imprison/r*pe MC, even more since she lost her memories of their relation. ML doesn't have much a character beside an OP rich/cool-as-iceberg guy - if one absolves his behavior in initial few chapters or so, he's a passable lead in a FL-oriented novel... atleast ML sort-of apologized for his actions and reflected on his past behavior even if there is some 'reason' for his said behavior... <<less

I really enjoyed this book. The plot was always interesting and changing this has almost 2, 500 chapters so people don’t realize how complex the book is. Since the beginning the author already has an idea of how the story will play out. There seem to be three major parts. Her life during school, her life as a manager then her life abroad.

Reason for imprisonment (major spoiler but I don’t like people talking bad about the book without finishing or knowing the reason)

Spoiler

In the beginning it seems like the ML imprisoned her for no reason but the real reason is just not mentioned until later. They were in love but due to guilt because she thought she killed someone close to her he wiped her memories. He then replaced her memories with artificial ones to make her “ye wanwan” this is why she thought she was in love with someone else. He didn’t want to let go of her due to how much he loved her. This is also why he would imprison her, otherwise she would run off and he couldn’t be able to protect her. (She calls him vinegar factory owner for a reason)

[collapse]

Proof they had loved each other

Spoiler

When she lived on the island she was in love with the ml. Proof, they have a kid together. If you have read far enough you will read she was sort of OP in strength. Not like her brother or Piece of Sh*t but still really strong. She wouldn’t have slept with the guy had she not liked him at least a little. But that is not what I’m talking about, she lives with the guy for a while and fell in love with him.

[collapse]

Her identities

For the author to creat so many identities for both the go and ML shows how much work they put into this story. The way they wrote it causes so much intrigue but also ensures you don’t lose interest.
Spoiler

Take how they wrote the identity of Ye Wanwan, a college student who is considered a disapointment, then transitioned to Ye Bai, a golden level manager. To creat the complexity of the transition is a lot of work. The author then continued to into Bai Feng. The leader of the Fearless gang. She is without her memories but has to figure out a way to cruise and not lose her life. We then find out she is Worriless Nie whom is the lost daughter of the Nie’s.

[collapse]

Just had to mention the son

Spoiler

he is so adorable. First of all she says that she imagines if they had a kid together he would be like tang tang which is funny considering he is her kid. He is a little cinnamon bun angel in front of his mother but a little tyrant other wise. Even to his father he didn’t really care about him. The child and ML would get jealous of each other until she sees “slaughter”, the sweet (to her after a while) tiger.

[collapse]

So in the end I just wanted to say that you should read the book. Those talking bad didn’t even get to the interesting parts yet. There was a lot of things I left out due to not wanting to spoil the whole book but you understand. This book is complex and well written. Would recommend this To anyone who would like to read and say “Enjoy since it will be a bumpy ride of tears, jealousy, cunningness, anger and laughter. This is amazing and just stick in there” <<less

(THIS MAY CONTAIN SPOILER SOO BE WARNED!!)

Honestly, when I first read it, I was already enamored by the story since it was a transmigration one. I love how the characters came to be and how relatable, funny, and shameless all (well not all) characters are; espcially the FL and her brothers. At first, I had doubts about the ML but when his side of the story was slowly uncovered (which was uncovered in the middle to the last chapters), I understood why he became so ruthless and so... more>> cold-blooded. At the beginning, I also was skeptic about the FL getting tangled up again and getting "head-over-heels" with the ruthless ML (because that would be like Stockholm Syndrome which is terrible). Everything worked out in the end but there are things that I wasn't satisfied of in the story. These are:

Spoiler
[collapse]

  1. The villain's background. The villain was indeed unexpected (kudos to the author. I couldn't even guess it myself) however the author didn't gave any justice to this villain. I mean, the author did give a reason on why the villain was assassinating the FL but it wasn't enough to invoke such heavy emotions (in my opinion) from a person to go to such intricate detailed plans only to be overpowered by the FL. It feels like the background of the villain was rushedly written without any main idea on why he does things (although it was written by the author that it was for revenge, but still, that couldn't give any proper justification for the villain and the horrendous things that he did). Also, all I can see from the villain was the longing he felt for his sister (which, surprise surprise! Is the FL) and his grandpa (which is the FL's biological grandpa) which doesn't make any sense since the appearance of a human being doesn't change that much even if you go through puberty and the FL was just right in front of him the whole freaking time! I just felt that since he was the key to unlocking the reasons why things escalated badly for the FL, he should have had enough and powerful reasons. Also, questions popped out in my mind like "Didn't he saw the body of their grandpa?" "Didn't he checked the CCTV's thoroughly?" "What were the reasons why things happened between them? Didn't he asked his sister why she did what she did?" And so on and so forth.
  2. The Second Male Lead (SML) !! I honestly can't express how frustrated I am with how poorly written the Second Male Lead's ending was. And again, he had reasons on why he did things as he did which is oddly satisfying (kudos to the author). Like any SML, he was always in the background guarding and protecting the FL like the ML does. Cleaning up after the FL and the aftermath of her actions (which is so touching) and was always beside her (before the FL concealed her memories and gone rogue). Also, like any SML, he was freaking mysterious that even after the special chapters dedicated for him, he was still a big mystery. Here's the part where I'm frustrated: The ending of the SML. The SML has a cancer. Yes, a cancer. Of all things, WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE A CANCER!? I understand that the author may not know what to do with the SML's ending but she doesn't have to make him disappear! Yes, I typed disappear because he literally disappeared after watching the sunset. Either he killed himself (which I really hope not) or he escaped and chose to live a peaceful life in his remaining days without any worries. Though his side was written later on in the near-end chapters but still! The FL still needs closure and explanation from him; like why he cancelled the engagement, did he even love her (which we readers know the truth but the FL doesn't!), why didn't he tell her the truth when the FL regained her memories back. And so on and so forth.
  3. The mother-son relationship. No, I'm not talking about the FL and her son (yes, she has a son, surprised? Don't be. There are a lot of hints here and there throughout the story). I'm talking about the ML's relationship with his mother. Due to an unexpected, complicated, heartbreaking love story, ML's mother became sick in the head. And when I meant sick, I meant she doesn't believe in love and forced her son to believe that way and groomed him to be a perfect puppet for her to use (i.e. Experimenting on him with poisons and training him to be a killing machine). Luckily, our ML met our FL and he started to break free from his own mother. What I'm frustrated about is that they do not have a proper conclusion. Yeah, it was stated that his mother apologized and I know how it was hard for her, considering that she was a prideful, cold, aloof, ruthless, woman but it somehow wasn't satisfying enough. It was heart-clenching, believe me, but it was immediately overshadowed with the next scenes in the chapter. I just wish the author could give a chapter just for this mother and son interaction. They are awkward with each other (since they aren't close and they separated ways ages ago) but still, I want to know if after the wedding (ML and FL's), did they slowly reconcile or something?
Honestly, number three is just really my personal wish cause I'm a sucker for familial love and reconciliation. But anywho, these three are the top unsatisfactory things I found in the story. I usually don't do critical review cause it's tiring (and I'm lazy) and I have to properly explain on why things are like this or like that etc., but I was so invested in this novel that after I read it, I just can't seem to get it out of my mind if I don't post a review about it.

This novel is good! Like really good! Especially if you're invested in transmigration themes with action packed stuff in a modern settings. It also gives plentiful of dog foods!! Like PLENTIFUL DOG FOODS, I'm not even kidding. This book is full of shamlessness and just funny scenes that will give you stomach ache due to too much laughter. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book! *Thumbs up* <<less

I don't even understand how those who rate 1-2 stars rate this story just from reading a fwe chapters like come on. If chaps 1-10 is considered a prologue, then you could consider chaps 100 below as just the first 10 chapters. It doesn't even count as reading the whole story by those merely a few hundred chapters like hello. Come back when you're at the 1000s or something then you could talk. Reviewer above is right (@cookieconque) It's like reading the prologue of harry potter then being... more>> like "oh, I know exactly how this will go" then throwing it away. You're just like those people who turned away JKR, because you wouldn't give things a chance. Ugh

Anyway, this story is a total 5. Really funny, super cute especially Tangtang, again super funny on the entertainment arc (SHE DOESN'T GO ACTRESS IF THAT'S ALL YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT GEEZ) , super cool fighting scenes

Plot is gold (you'd expect you'll just know that's how this goes just from the forst 500 chapters but nope *mindblown*). Best arc goes to Independent Island Arc def. ML is a bit possessive yes but there's a reason for that. Maybe you'd be able to solve that one later on or something. Tho I love ML, I just... can't forget Ji Xiuran... damnit... my heart. ?

Spoiler

btw, I cried HARD when Nameless Nie died. When I say hard, I mean HARD hard. ???

Started off strong. I liked how this felt like a revenge novel where Ye WanWan, who has come back to the past, tries to change her situation for the better and not fall for the lies of those around her. The ML comes off as controlling, but their relationship changes once she starts taking control of her own life.

But after almost 2000 chapters I'm getting bored and I don't see any end in sight... (I do, since the novel is complete, but you know what I mean)

This story is definitely thrilling!its funny, romantic, action and adventure, etc. The characters are awesome and funny I nearly died by laughing cause of how shameless and funny like using the typical foreigner misunderstands a chinese word and thought that sh*t is rice and also how shameless they are in a funny way lol. The only thing I dislike though is how FL is kinda slow I mean, she didnt realize what her identity was it was so obvious.I also love the fls cause all of them are scheming I... more>> know its weird but all the other fls are all weak but this fls truly exciting overall this story and its progression is really interesting I recommend this also it has many chapters so you dont have to worry about it being halfway incomplete.♡

Edit:I added this because I saw many comments that dislikes this novel I just wanna say to the people scrolling the reviews that please dont just stop reading this because of the reviews though you could if you want to but I just recommend for you to first just try reading this cause it might be one of your fave novels or you might just like it. Once I scrolled to a novel I was interested in and saw many negative reviews but I still tried to read it and indeed it was interesting.I'm saying all this with effort because this novel was really entertaining!it made me experience a bunch of emotion rollercoaster like
Spoiler

when you'd wish for the MC to win the award and when she did you'd probably dance, scream like crazy cause of how MC deserved it and when I felt sad for her brother to 'die' but didnt

Now this is my first time doing all this effort to convince you causs I really think it deserves it also if you truly dislike this novel then I cant make you like it but I'll just say to atleast dont hate it. <<less

People would think this is some cliche novel about Stockholm syndrome in the beginning of the novel. Yes, me too. But it's all fine and good even if it's Stockholm becoz, the story is good. Good comedy sense from MC part. Thou, the author seems to like dragging the stories... ugh... No comment thou because it somehow still get my interested perked up.

For later chapter, maybe you will get bored for some filler arc. Not for me thou, coz I like those filler somehow. Not that boring nor its interesting.... more>> Just so-so but still okay for me.

Si YeHan and Ye Wanwan stay together till the end. U hear me. Until the end. No misunderstanding happen that lead to break up or what not that get me irritated. They always clear their misunderstanding earlier. Oh, there's one time Si YeHan misunderstand something thou.
Spoiler
[collapse]
WanWan didn't tell Si YeHan about TangTang being their biological son. This get SYH misunderstood her and Ji Xiuran actually have child together after all people at Independent State know her real identity. Given that her real identity has engagement with emperor Ji. It's somehow get SYH sooo mad and filled with vinegar that he decided to get all his Asura attack Nie family and demand for YWW. She come before they start war thou. And believe me. It end with Comedy lol. That misunderstanding is too huge. In the end of it I can't help but laugh.

This novel, for me, actually only have one cons. I believe everyone else who read it till the end would agree with this. THE AUTHOR REALLY LIKE TO DRAG THE STORY. *cough* even thou those said 'drag' story is interesting, I still feel impatient. Wanting to know what actually happened after every arc. Well, I'm impatient after all.

For last, I just want to say, Good novel like this only come once in a while. Read it. It's worth it. <<less

In the beginning, the plot was really good, in a school/university setting, but soon it just switches up to a martial arts setting and then to a cultivations setting.

I'm confused with what the plot is supposed to be. I got interested because of the summary but that summary, only accounts for the beginning 800+ chapters. Honestly, with all the real family and real identity stuff, yeah, I'm really confused.

I loved this novel, really, the beginning is very interesting, I liked it. I loved the face slapping scenes. But as... more>> it goes on, about 900+ chapters, it kind of... gets pretty dull and boring. I can't get over the fact that MC had a baby with someone and forgotten her past and got an entirely new identity... there are a lot of plot holes... The novel is kind of close to worst than being close to best.

I would recommend the beginning of this novel, not the end, though.

Arghhhh I'm so sad it's over but I'm happy that everything ended the way it did. This story had lots of fluffy bits, martial arts, multiple identities, lots of face slapping and funny interesting characters. When you read it you will definitely feel those Hidden Marriage vibes coming through in a good way but this book is more martial artsy.

Love the authors work! Defiantly recommend if you want a long satisfying read but be ready for lots of up and downs!

A lot of people seem to hate this novel. But I disagree! Some might say it looks like a copy of Hidden Marriage. Well, they have the same author afterall. But actually its whole lot different. Its much more intense and mysterious.

I also nearly dropped this novel because of the ML's crazy and obsessive behaviour. But when I skipped alot of chapters. I saw that he wasn't that bad. And gave a lot of thought for this novel.

It is true that this novel has a lot of fillers and none... more>> important chapters. But I actually like it that way. It gives of alot of comedic scenes.

Many of us who has read this novel compared it HM. And alot has given up midway 200-500 chapters. But I say give this novel a chance! Its actually beautiful, alot of dogfood, face slapping, and comedy!

What made me stay here is how the author portrays the ML. How he seems to be longing in that distant memory of them. And how did they met. And why is he so "protective" for her.

Some reviews says he r*ped her. Which made him bad. Well, actually it only happened once unlike other novels. And no I am not justifying his actions. But he isn't so bad. He loved her so much. She is his only light.

All that he did was for her own good and wishes.

Spoiler

He replaced her memories because she pleaded and threatened him to kill herself.

[collapse]

Spoiler

He didn't kidnapped her! He saved her. She nearly died. He found her barely hanging for her life. And He actually got his sickness because of the injuries he got saving her.

They fled to China because of what happened. He never wanted anything in his life than her safety and happiness. And so he cameback to his family. And wanted all the power he could get to keep her safe in China and so that nobody could find her and kill her.

And actually, he couldn't left her. The only she has is him.

[collapse]

The story might be upsetting. But when you think about it. And be patient. You'll know the reasons behind everything.

It is too complicated and has deep meanings. And if you don't want that suspense, drama and a lil bit violent. And you only wanted those light and fluffy novels this isn't for you. <<less

Okay, I tried to make this work, I really did, but I just couldn't. I normally don't like to rate books so early on, but I just couldn't read anymore.

The moment the male lead r*pes the female lead is the moment that, to me, their romance is dead. You don't come back from that.

From chapter 1, I had an immense hate for the male lead. He r*ped her! But since he's rich, handsome, has insomnia, and has an 'OCD' for all women except the fl, I guess it's okay? He's... more>> redeemable?

Also, fl, what is wrong with you?? What are you trying to accomplish? Sis, you need to get as far away from that relationship as possible.

I don't normally hate on novels with yandere men so much. In fact, I actually am a fan of the whole black bellied men trope, but I couldn't stand this. Even the gory yandere novels where the ML kills for the FL I can stand because they're written as these dark twisted stories. That's what they're meant to be. However, this novel tries to stray away from that into a 'healthy' relationship when the ML obviously belongs to the aforementioned novels.

I think that's why I hated this so much. I have different expectations for different tropes. With the hardcore yandere novels, I am expecting a obsessive, perhaps mu*derous, ml. For the slightly yandere novels, I expect an ML that is a bit overbearing, but still respects the fl's boundaries. This book was trying to be the second novel with an ML that obviously belonged to the first. <<less

It's a pretty good novel, and it's long too. The plot is good, the underlying mystery is not bad. Though my only problem with this is that there. ARE. SO. MANY. Chapters that's used up just for the antagonists to gloat, to insult the MC. It's highly annoying, and a waste of time. My advice is to just sweep pass even without reading them and you wouldn't loss even an inch of the plot.

Actually, I don't want to read it at first because some review say abusive and r*pe. But, I don't find any r*pe scene except the earliest chapter.

And when the chapter is going on, I get doubt too about that one as I assume that the MC is getting drunk.

You can say the MC is a bit OP (but not as far as other transmigrator novel)

Now I can say I rather find it good. I really like the revenge scene. Even overlysatisfied :)

I am thoroughly enjoying this novel! I was cautious when starting, came across it numerous times but because of some of the reviews on here I didn't dare. I hate abusive relationship, I have read and watched sealed with a kiss, cruel romance, too late to say I love you, still here, etc. I enjoy strong alpha male leads don't get me wrong, the males who thread on borderline of obsessed and love, the ones who are possessive and jealous and childish in ways. But I HATE the males that... more>> enjoy hurting the female or anyone close to them. For all the fans of this genre, you guys know what I mean. The sadistic ones, the unreasonable ones, just plain cruel. THIS male lead is far from it. Is he obsessively in love with her? Yes but he respects her and her body, and he knows she's really smart. When she got perfect scores he was the only one who wasn't surprised at all, like that wasn't out of norm. He would literally do anything for her. Like he knows she's acting and he goes along not pushing her boundaries as long as she doesn't leave him and at times I actually felt bad for him because she learned to manipulate situations, him and people around her so well, not with evil intent but still I was glad she learned from her previous mistakes. His granny wanted to see her and she was silent for to long when he told her, so he was like "forget it". Or she goes back to school and says she has to study for the exams, won't be able to talk to him, he didn't get mad at her, he respected her space. The matter about r*pe, happened in the first chapter for the first time since they have been together for 2 years and after he avoided her for days my only assumption is because he was ashamed because a little later there was another situation where he has hurt her and after that he was disgusted with himself because he could not control his temper. He isn't some beast who only knows how to ravage her in bed. He doesn't make any s*xual attempts at all at this point and I know I'm only a very short way into the novel but the beginning really sets everything for me. I despise the males who are total a**holes in the beginning but then come to love the girl and supposedly change completely.

Food for thought on this novel: may contain spoilers for some.

I, like many of you who really like this novel, can't help but think of reasons why he's so blindly in love with her, he told her it can only be her when she asked him why her but he never elaborated on why, I've tried to find spoilers for myself but there is no hint at how he came to love her. I have a crazy but possible theory and that is that he was reincarnated with his previous memories? Like she went back 7 years to the past after she died but he could have been completely reborn in different era then before with his previous memories and in that previous life he had fallen in love with her and thats why no matter how she looks like or acts he simply doesn't care and only loves her beautiful bones? I feel like there are tones of hints at this, the way his family line is sooo old etc. They are the top of their country and are considered the "blue bloods". His insomnia and how he has a very strong phych and so he can't be hypnotized easily. His friends coming from well know families and one of them was some top notch general or whatever. I feel like with his personality it would be hard to have friends unless he was already friends with them before and they all reincarnated. I really hope the author came up with some darn good back story of how he came to be the way he is. <<less
